I started a small business way back in 2008. I left it in the hand of one of my home boys. The boy was actually doing fine each time I look at his balance sheet. I encouraged him to start savings with a nearby micro-finance bank so that we could access a soft loan to expand the business. Our balance with the MF bank is quite impressive, I called him to tell him that it`s time for us to approach the bank for a loan to open another branch of the business. I couldn`t believe what he told me two weeks to the day of meeting with the bank, he said the bank has gone under. I went there to confirm by myself with an inscription "we are temporarily out of business" written boldly at the entrance gate of the bank. Where do we go to make our claims as non of the bank`s officials could be sited. Please help somebody. |
If you go round this country you will discover that it`s only in Lagos that soldiers, police, immigration, LASTMA, KAI etc don`t pay T.fares. This is not so in other parts of the country even in Abuja. You don`t need to wear a complete uniform in Lagos before you have a free ride, all you need do is have a clean shave and put on a barret and you will be transported for free. It`s not only in the transport sector that this happen in Lagos, it`s happens everywhere even in mama put joints. Folks why do we fear uniform men so much in Lagos? |
Not the Wale Scot I know. It must be a Scotlet. |
What are the chiefs doing? They should go and consult Ifa to know why their son Deji had gone insane while on the throne. As for the woman she should drag Deji before Sango for instant justice. |
IBB is a bad product. Oshiomole should have known better. |
.NET:You have said it all |
Emma carnegie:We all know that states creation is a Northern thing. They will make sure it fly. I wonder why Southerners allow all the empty lands up there to be called States. It`s time we call for a reverse. |

@ Poster Never you invest on a woman and expect a return in a future date. Whatever gifts you think is too big to give to an ordinary friend, never try to give it to a woman to avoid heart aches when she changes her mind. I was arguing with my brother the other day when he pointed at Agbani. At a point he said he no too sure wether na Agbani sef. That means it was Agbani I saw. What happened to her beauty? She don born 12? |
There was this beauty who lived on my street, her school is next to my school. She came visiting one day, I had earlier boasted to my to my classmates that I will woo her right in their presence. She came and we start talking , instead of going straight to the point I told her that someone is interested in her and when she asked I pointed at one of my friends who was watching (I lied). I couldn`t say it was me. And When she asked of his name I lied again by telling her Stephen coz my friends name was an embarrassing Calabar name. The smart guy quickly jumped at the already cooked offer. Today they are married and he still bears stephen till date, I dont know where he threw the Calabar name. |
I dont know if this section is the best place to post this piece. I went back to my root to spend the whole holidays with my homies. Taking a look at some structures it brought back memories of my childhood. I cant help smiling and crying. I remembered the days when we used to ride tyres on the street. I remember the days when we used to fly kites on the same street. I can still recall the days we are been harassed by one local council worker who lived on our street anytime we play ball. I can remember playing football bare footed. Can I try that today? I can still remember the days of black and white TV with lucozade. I remember the days TV stations open by 4:00pm I can remember programs like Voltron,G-force, Superted, Godzilla, Superman etc I can remember actors like Jaguar, Aluwe, Fadeyi Oloro, Abija, Suraju Tailor. I can remember running home and pretending to be asleep/reading books anytime I sight my dad while on the football pitch. I remember and I remember, Let share your childhood experience. |
I woke up on tuesday morning sighting the poster of our invicible president all over the streets of Kaduna. Same in other neighbouring states around us here. I dont know which group of PDP is campaigning for his re-election when he has not even completed his first tenure. I dont know if it`s same down south. Is he aware of this? |
Some Idiots make gain from the darkness. |
I remember those days when we used to sing multiplication table along the road when some bros in those days will send us a stick/packet of cigar with a bottle of beer to chill. We used to carry slates on our heads to our schools till we are old and good enough to write with inks. See what computer has done to the younger generation. |

Nezan:You just said my mind. We are just there to mark attendance. |
@poster You dont have enough facts to nail the dude. Too watery to nail any criminal. You don`t sit behind a computer and type whatever you feel. Gather facts and we will help you consume and chanel it to the appropriate place. Abeg leave the guy man alone. Why the beef now? |
No matter how we look at it, the lady must have issues. That does not mean that female prostitution does not exist in the banks. I hope the law enforcement agency will be able to investigate this and uncover the truth. |
I think the IG knows that his men wouldn`t be able to maintain the new uniform as dirts is their second nature. We all know how far they have gone to maintain the black uniform that helps them to hide dirts. The new uniform could be very expensive for them to maintain. the IG should first re-orientate his men before introducing the new uniform to them. Some of these men are good at wearing slippers and tattered jeans with torn bullet proof vest. I wonder how this new uniform will serve them any good.Sit near a junior police officer you may want to throw up. Will the junior officers be able to maintain the new uniform? Maybe it`s in their own interest not to wear the new uniform. ![]() |
