seleroms2:The gutters are cleared regularly but the major problem is the enability of the present government led by gov. obaseki to followed previous master plan put in place by previous government. His enability to use quality construction firms to contruct good and quality roads and drainage, saying that he is managing the resources at his disposal, thereby contructing roads that are substandard, completely different from the one put in place by previous government of oshiomhole. I think that is major problem. |

I will love to say "welcome to benin city". Talking about opportunity, it depends on how you look at it. If you are talking about job(s) opportunities, just like other states of the federation, it's a civil service state and as you know government jobs are very difficult to come by but one good thing about the city, especially if you are into trading or an artisan, the purchasing power of the people, that is the ability to buy and sell is very high. The most viable axis of the city are sapele road, airport road, ugbowo road, oba market road, etc. Please, always avoid night journey within the city because it's not safe for you and even if you want to try, move in the night with atleast more than 3 person; as you know 2 are better than 1.
