If that's the reason, I don't think it was necessary. They should have just used his real gender if resemblance was the issue. The kid is cute though.

I am currently watching Hi Bye Mama. Read online that the kid is a 5years old boy but he is playing the role of a 5years old girl. I just want to ask those that have seen the drama and have more information about the situation, how relevant is the gender of the female lead's child to the story line. If she had died while giving birth to a male child, would it have affected the story? Also, was there no 5years old, or even any other age close to that, girl child available to play the role?

Yeah you are right. It can be a blessing or a curse. That's one of the reasons Healer is one of my favourite drama. No unnecessary breakups. Even when she heard that his father killed her father, the issue did not last 5mins. They settled before he left her house.

Racket boys has finally ended. Lol in my mind it ended 2 weeks ago so I wasn't even invested in this final episode, it just felt like I was watching some end credits or something. Lol I liked how everybody was falling in love upandan aigoo. Happy to see cameos from my queens Yuri and seulgi. I'm not a sports person at all which is why I avoid sports themed dramas like the plague. I must say tho that among the very very few sports drama I've seen, this is my favorite. I guess it's cos the focus of the drama was more on friendship, family and community than the actual sport. I am also ashamed to say that after watching 16 episodes centered around badminton, I still don't know shi!t about the rules of the game and I'm not even the least bit interested in knowing, yes I wear my shame with pride.

So after 11 episodes of you are my spring's young do basically being top 5 sensible male lead in a drama ever, these stupid people decided to introduce noble idiocy into the plot. Urghhh I'm so freaking angry, like I have been hyping him up especially when he told Yoon Park he wouldn't discuss dajeong with him, I was just like gosh what a man, what a beautiful self assured man and now what? He's breaking up with her cos he's sick? Bi!tch puhleaasseee! Urghh I wanted to punch him, like I wanted her to throw him off the roof. Then the idiot went home to cry, I'm like congratulations dipshi!t, you're sad, she's sad, I'm sad. Well done. It's not even that he's just breaking up with her, he even had the guts to say mean things to her, hospital playlist's ik sun didn't even do half of this and I canceled her, I swear jo young do is canceled, I don't care if he comes back and apologizes on his knees shedding a bucket of tears. We don't want your love again. Lol see me making mouth, I've already uncanceled ik sun cos oppa is behaving like he'll die without her, I bet I'll still forgive this idiotic young do (Urghh I need to steel my heart, I need to remain mean lol). Anyway I'm pretty sure next week will be them avoiding each other even though every cell of their body is screaming for each other, I can't believe I have to sit through that bull, abeg this drama should do and end. Lmao so last week I thought their dad probably repented and left them his fortune as an inheritance, aigoo this pathetic scum of a leopard that refuses to change his spots left them debt. Tufiakwa! I also don't know why that chaebol woman is going above and beyond to protect Ian chase, is he the only doctor that she can bribe to kill her chairman or whatever it is she wants. Anyway that boy needs to rest with his mumu strategy of trying to guilt trip people, last week he was blaming dajeong for being scared of him, this week he's blaming young do for not saving him when they were younger mtcheww. Bi!tch please.

This same stunt you mentioned in Your Are My Spring is the same they pulled in Monthly Magazine Home and it was worse in the latter cos she broke up with him in the final episode so there was not enough time for a reconciliation. I LOVED Monthly Magazine House, it was an interesting story, really funny, wonderful characters, but that final episode, may God forgive the writer for that unnecessary twist. At least here in You Are My Spring, they still have enough episodes to set things straight.

Yes it is but the romance was very pg 13, they didn't even kiss. The drama is interesting tho but if you want to watch it solely for the romance, you'll be very disappointed.

15 episodes in and the ML has been bland. Just another pretty boy with cash to burn.
I like the FL's ambition but she's a tad bit childlike for me.

Just finished Mystic Pop Up Bar. Loved it. Also enjoying The Devil Judge and Monthly Magazine Home. Loved Was It Love but not a fan of how they ended it.

I have enjoyed quite a few. Tale Of The Nine Tailed, Goblin and currently My Roommate Is A Gumiho.

I am currently watching Abyss, and I am just managing to continue because of the ML, I really loved him in Dr Romantic 2. However, the story is beginning to annoy me. Please who has seen it? Did you love it? Maybe there hope at the end of this tunnel.

Finished watching the Uncontrollably Fond and it's okay, I guess. I liked that there was no bullshitting ahead of the impeding tragedy from the get go, even though the plot is very cliche, a drag at some point and really doesn't need to have spanned twenty whole episodes. The writer(s) made sure we didn't dream for a split second. They were like --- Hey, this dude will die oo. Not behind the scenes or in your mind's eye. He will die. Right here before your very eyes. So wait for it.

Dude's an ass tho, who spent more time confessing his love to us than his FL.
I especially hate him when he was making noise about who'd care for his neurotic mum, right in front of his Eul, who he's been mean to, all film-long. They seemed to have spent more time apart, doing themselves than they did together, which is ironic for a romantic show. Dude was on super active jerk mode, evading his supposed love of his life, with the excuse of finding evidence.

I also figured out that he's a tease. He was always like- take money, don't take, oya take, no, don't. Your girlfriend is in debt up to her brain and even asked more than once and all you do is mouth off about your wealth and dissuade her from accepting cash gifts from others. You try. I wonder if he even included her in his will. That house is prolly all she got. Araldite.

Basically everybody again, was shouting per second on the show. Ask question, shout. Answer question, shout. The step brother was the worst. He never wanted to talk like a normal human being. Funny thing is when I think about it now, I can't even remember if Pororo, which is an actual dog, barked at all.

In all, anyone who wants to watch it, go with God. Cinematography was top notch, acting (minus the shouts) was good, plot was typical, has certain inconsistencies and a focus that dwindles. ML facially, was found wanting no vex, if you are husbanding him but whoaaa, he does have a smoking body. I hope he's feeling better in real time now, 'cos I read that he was later diagnosed with cancer for real.
I also don't know if loving the "A little braver" ST by New Empire more than the Korean OST, questions my K--fangirlism. The song's absolutely beautiful.

My next watch? I'm thinking Vincenzo. Lemme have a breather from I-love-you-talk-your-own small.

Oh no don't be surprised, with the delta variant now, we are extra cautious no big parties. He had to go to the warehouse to take pictures with his gifts this year as they poured in from all works of life.

I didn't shout about it because as supportive wife, I have to be careful. There are some people that have been trying to take him from me. You won't even believe when I tell you that married women are after him too. It is a pity that their own husband named Kang is not enough for them and for this reason, oppa told me to celebrate quietly.

Oh, the plot was good. But you may want to slap the writer at the end, the last episode I think.
