U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said that 146 workers were arrested at Fresh Mark’s meat processing plant in Salem, Ohio as a part of an investigation into whether the company knowingly hired illegal immigrants who used faked identities belonging to U.S. citizens to obtain employment. Search warrants were also carried out at the company’s two other locations in Ohio. A spokesperson for the agency, Khaalid Walls, said that the majority of the workers detained were from Read more #https://overseasnbeyond..com/2018/06/ice-raids-ohio-meatpacking-plant-146.html |

Case study: an African guy asked an American street lady to meet him in an hotel where he worked here in Baltimore, the lady came around 4am, she insisted the guy should pay before fvvk but naija guy started forming "I will send you out of my hotel room afterall I invited you bla ba bla. the lady went to the front desk office to ask of the Manager to report him since she knew she worked their and probably the room was not paid, so as to expose the guy, she was ready to fight dirty. She met me to discuss these and we are able to resolve that night. |

China's state news agency mocked President Donald Trump this week as tensions between Beijing and Washington mounted amid fears of an escalating trade war. Trump announced Friday plans to impose 25 percent tariffs on $50 billion worth of Chinese products in retaliation for what he described as China's intellectual copyright theft. Washington warned it would go further if Beijing reacted harshly to its decision. Trump said the tariffs were "essential to preventing further unfair transfers of American technology and intellectual property to China, which will protect American jobs." China, in return, said it would impose an additional 25 percent tariff on certain U.S. products worth $50 billion. The dueling announcements sent stock markets tumbling. The tariffs will hit products including aircraft tires and commercial dishwashers. Unsurprisingly, China was not happy about the tariffs, the BBC reported Read more #https://overseasnbeyond..com/2018/06/chinese-state-media-suggests-president.html |

President Donald Trump on Wednesday ripped the "unfair" and "vicious" media "narrative" surrounding First Lady Melania Trump's prolonged public absence, hours before she was scheduled to make her first public appearance in nearly a month. "The Fake News Media has been so unfair, and vicious, to my wife and our great First Lady, Melania. During her recovery from surgery they reported everything from near death, to facelift, to left the W.H. (and me) for N.Y. or Virginia, to abuse," Trump tweeted Wednesday morning, ahead of the first lady's expected reemergence. In a second tweet, Trump claimed that "Four reporters spotted Melania in the White House last week walking merrily along to a meeting" and "never reported the sighting because it would hurt the sick narrative that she was living in a different part of the world, was really ill, or whatever." The scathing tweets came just hours before the first lady was scheduled to appear alongside her husband at the headquarters of the Federal Emergency Management Agency in Washington for the 2018 hurricane briefing. #https://overseasnbeyond..com/2018/06/trump-slams-vicious-media-ahead-of.html |
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday a decision by U.S. President Donald Trump to set up a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was "brave and mature", and said that he was expecting a "positive outcome". The historic summit will take place on June 12 in Singapore, in the latest twist in a high-stakes diplomatic drive by the United States to curtail Pyongyang's nuclear arms programme. On Friday, Trump, in a complete reversal, said he would hold the meeting with Kim after initially cancelling it, citing what he called Pyongyang's "open hostility". "I still hope that this meeting – a very brave and mature decision U.S. President Donald Trump has made, to have direct contacts with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un – will take place, and we all expect a positive outcome," Putin said in an interview with China Media Group. #https://overseasnbeyond..com/2018/06/putin-praises-brave-trump-over-planned.html |
Kelly Sadler, the White House communications aide who made a imprudent comment about Republican Sen. John McCain's health, was quietly let go Tuesday nearly a month after making the insensitive remark. "Kelly Sadler is no longer employed within the Executive Office of the President," wrote Raj Shah, the principal deputy press secretary, in an emailed statement. The White House had been strategizing an exit for Sadler for the last two weeks, a senior administration official said. There had been a discussion about relocating her to another agency or department outside of the White House, and it remains unclear if she is going somewhere else or leaving the administration entirely. #https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=1768982058534932280#editor/target=post;postID=8020093008419025416;onPublishedMenu=allposts;onClosedMenu=allposts;postNum=0;src=postname |

damiloladuke:Olaniyonu or whatever they call you, nobody is intimidating your paymaster. The best thing for your master to do is to go and clear himself of this alleged crime since he is a suspect until proven otherwise. The lazy youth arguing blindly as if saraki is a saint, continue fighting for what you don't know even Donald Trump denied initially that, he never knew Stormy Daniel until bubble bursted and likewise Clinton never admitted having affairs with Lewisky until he was tried. |
Canada isn't taking President Donald Trump's decision to hit the country with steel and aluminum tariffs lying down. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that Canada will impose retaliatory tariffs on $12.8 billion worth of US goods in response to Trump's metals tariffs. The list of goods set to get hit by the Canadian tariffs varies from industrial steel to sleeping bags. Trudeau said the tariffs were not designed to hurt the American people, but rather defend Canada's interests and send a message to the Trump administration. Using US Census Bureau data on exports and the list of goods subject to the tariffs, Business Insider determined exactly which states will get hit hardest by the Canadian crackdown. The biggest losers from the US-Canada trade fight are industrial states in the Midwest: Read more #https://overseasnbeyond..com/2018/06/canad-in-trade-dispue-with-doanld-trump.html |
The Trump administration is examining ways U.S. industries could hire more immigrant workers on a temporary basis, White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow said on Friday, as data showed the United States unemployment rate at an 18-year low. “We are looking at ways to bring temporary immigrants with temporary visas legally into the United States in a number of industries,” Kudlow told CNBC in an interview, adding he did not want to say more that would “get ahead of the curve.” Read more #https://overseasnbeyond..com/2018/06/us-ready-to-open-door-to-more-temporary.html |

A Texas police officer nicknamed “Blade” after Marvel Comics’ vampire hunter is being lauded as a real champ when he was caught on video during an impromptu boxing match with a teen after responding to a noise complaint. Officer Winston Bowen squared up with the unidentified teenager at Hillcrest Apartments in Mesquite on Memorial Day. The longtime recreational boxer said he couldn’t turn down an invitation to show off his less-lethal guns after getting challenged to a sparring match. “They were having a little barbeque, they were playing some music, and there were some kids out there with some gloves,” Bowen told KTVT. “There’s this perception that police officers have guns, we have a badge, but we can’t fight.” The video, which had been viewed more than 1.8 million times on Facebook as of Wednesday, shows a group of teens standing atop a car as Bowen rushes the youngster, but doesn’t land a direct shot. Bowen then dominates the teen with a flurry of jabs and haymakers, drawing jeers from onlookers in the apartment complex’s parking lot. But Bowen’s show of force ends without a major blow as the teen tries his best to save face among his friends.
