Contrary to the popular perception, there is, at least in women, a positive correlation between frequency of masturbation and frequency of intercourse. People who masturbate more are more sexually driven, and mutual masturbation is likely to increase the frequency and variety of sexual contact. Both in the performance and in the observation, masturbation can teach partners about each other’s pleasure centers, proclivities, and particularities. If one partner is more sexually driven than the other, masturbation can provide him or her with a balancing outlet.

4. Better reproductive health.

In men, masturbation flushes out old sperm with low motility and reduces the risk of prostate cancer. If practiced before sexual intercourse, it can delay orgasm in men suffering from premature ejaculation. In women, it increases the chances of conception by altering the conditions in the vagina, cervix, and uterus. It also protects against cervical infections by increasing the acidity of the cervical mucus and flushing out pathogens. In both women and men, it strengthens the muscles in the pelvic floor and genital area and contributes to extending the years of sexual activity.

5. Faster sleep.

Masturbation invites sleep by reducing stress and releasing feel-good hormones such as dopamine, endorphins, oxytocin, and prolactin. Orgasm in particular brings on a state of stillness, serenity, and sleepiness, sometimes called ‘the little death’ (Fr. la petite mort), which can usher in a deeper sleep.

6. Improved cardiovascular fitness.

Masturbation is, in effect, a form of light exercise. Compared to regular exercise, it is more effective or efficient at reducing tension and releasing feel-good hormones. The muscles and blood vessels relax, improving blood flow and lowering heart rate and blood pressure. No surprise, then, that there is an inverse correlation between frequency of orgasm and death from coronary heart disease.

7. Brighter mood and other psychological benefits.

Masturbation reduces stress and releases feel-good hormones, which lift mood and reduce the perception of pain. It promotes better, more restorative sleep, locking in sleep’s myriad benefits. Am not a baby christian!!!!
Masturbation is an act of self sex satisfation by imagination or sight seeing of opposite sex or same sex.
This started back in the jail house because inmates incarcerated are denied of sex for several years, this is usual practice which continues till today nothing spiritual but psychological

I too have been in the act masturbation & shameful about it. it was a struggle, I resisted many times & fell to it many times. as a Christian I knew it was abnormal & there were many factors that can cause one to masturbate like not only at the attractiveness of women, but high libido, sociocultural & economic condition (normally from 24/25 one should be getting married), spiritual husband/wife, porn & erotic images, sex chat & immoral songs.

So you see the temptation of masturbation can come in diverse forms, & even if it is not masturbation as a reaction/response you see people committing other immoral acts like premarital sex (gf/sugar mommy/prostitute), homosexuality, rape, sex imaginations, defiling children (not cool), etc

My focus is on Masturbation & for those who think its right, it ain't because it isn't God's will.

So in my struggle, it was really that hard, I prayed over it as well but I saw myself doing it again, I knew I was disappointing my heavenly Father. to note I have high libido & attracted to ladies a lot, but am not a flirt offline & I respect women & their bodies, the mere sight or thought of lusting at anyone I vehemently rebuked but my flirting is more mainly online (its strange).

Now I heard about a message on masturbation (forgotten where) & it pointed out that amongst many sins lust is a spirit that comes & goes & that a scheduled deliverance won't be effective.

Now there came a night, while attempting to do the usual with a stubbornness in me to just do it even when I knew it was wrong & resisting a bit, I started hearing a gospel song emanating from me in that process, a song am familiar with, you know that type of gospel songs you sing/listen that revives your spirit, very heavenly & holy, yea the song started right there was reducing that sexual hunger, the immorality of the act was leaving me, I discontinued without even telling myself not to, it was supernatural, as if sin just gave way to something superior to it, the song felt like it invited God right there on my bed, I just couldn't continue with what I wanted to do because I felt freed, mind you it wasn't guilt or the knowledge I have the Holy Spirit in me or that I was abusing God's grace but what made me stop was this invitation of holiness through that song & the lust fled & my sexual urge settled down.

This morning as it had been a while back of that experience, recalling this the Holy Spirit reminded me that heavenly songs are weapons of spiritual warfare against lust & not many use it against problems like that.

Yes there are practical human ways to avoid masturbation but many are weak in the flesh to be constant with such prescriptions.
time & time again the temptation comes I either get myself busy or sing of song of praise to God with revelation & gratitude especially when alone.

I hope this solution helps my fellow brethren experiencing such.
Table the problem before God to help you overcome the immorality.
Remember Christ said the immoral won't enter the kingdom of God, so lets not be lack luster about it because we have Grace, because it can also affect your sexual health & generations to come.

Enough is enough, Christians should stop misleading people. Masturbation is psychological issue and not spiritual.
This is not new in Prison/jail system.
Inmate in America call it jerking.
The worst you can do is to stripe them out as punishment where no physical contact or open/indecent exposure is involved with the opposite or same sex.

No Nigerian will ever like to be jail here in the united states due to so many factors like food, intimidation and harassment, background etc.

It is easy to get a correction jobs in the United states either at Federal, state or county but you must have a work authourization permit.
The agency is responsible for training ( pre service and aftermaths).
I am currently in the Criminal Justice Academy courtesy of my agency.
To be certified you have to take 4 examination and your score in each should not be less than 70%.

Am a correction officer scheduled to work 13 hrs for 7days but unfortunately the facility is always short staffed so i put in more days overtime sometimes i work 16hrs but really crazy. My bill is always moderate. My rent is $950 light and water is $450 and insurance is $259. But despite all this my mobthly saving is $2000.

Nice job, God will punished all naija politicians and people in authority. I started my job in the state of south carolina getting paid $14.20 per hour and i have to work 13hrs everyday including overtime. My basic for two weeks is 85hrs anything after is. Overtime.
I lovw the job i do as a correction officer in the detention centre.
I make average of $2650 after tax every two weeks but do not want to kill myself any longer because they see me as workaholic.
The job is cool and steady

United States Attorney David C. Joseph announced that three Nigerian nationals living in Grambling and Texas have pleaded guilty Monday to roles in a scheme aimed at obtaining permanent residency illegally.

Adebisi Philip Bode Adejumo, 34, a Grambling, La., resident and Nigerian citizen; Godspower Raphael Sobaeh, 31, a Fort Worth, Texas, resident and Nigerian citizen; and Olabode Ebenezer Olubodun, 37, a Houston, Texas, resident and Nigerian citizen, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Terry Doughty to one count of conspiracy to make false statements in connection with immigration documents. Adejumo also pleaded guilty to one count of making false statements in connection with immigration documents, Sobaeh to one count of marriage fraud, and Olubodun to one count of making false statements in connection with immigration documents and mail fraud. In May, a federal grand jury returned a 42-count indictment charging 17 Nigerian and Cameroonian nationals living in Louisiana, Texas, New York and Maryland with the marriage fraud scheme. Sobaeh, Adejumo and Olubodun are the first to plead guilty. The court set sentencing for Feb. 6, 2019
