This is akin to War as these boys are destroying the economic life blood of this country - CRUDE OIL!!!
Why is the whole Nigeria dependant of crude oil?

Is it only crude oil that Nigeria has to export?

There are hundreds of other resources there but you ignore all that to focus on crude oil.

Forget about war... All these bombings are for your own good. grin

The earlier you start diversifying the economy, decentralize the national grid... And restructure your country ...

The better you..

The south East my people will be at the disadvantage, they will lose trillions of investments outside the south East and we don't have enough land to farm, even our oil and gas will be taxed by the south south if it is to pass through there lands for export
The best option remains sticking together
It is only food these guys can think about as if we get food for free in the East.

When fuel price was doubled from 87 to 145.... Who died?

In fact, d prices of all foodstuffs have doubled presently so what is your problem?

See... nigeria imports rice, fish, even tomatoes now.... If the north like, they should sell their foodstuffs to chad, e no concern me...

I don't know why some people can't think long term.

Ports has a never been a problem for ND/East... Nigeria' s anti-diversification stance is the reason why eastern ports are not working....

You hear? The same reasons why Nigeria is dependant on crude oil and gas is d same reason why Nigeria is dependant on lagos port.

Why tie everybody to one place? Is that right to you?

Is it right that Nigeria depends on crude oil alone to finance its budget? Is it only crude oil you have in Nigeria?

Is it right that all generated power is sent to the national grid? Why lagos generate power and keep it for lagos? Why can't kano generate power and keep it for kano? Why tie everybody to national grid?

Why tie the whole country to lagos ports when there are so many other deep ports along the coast? Koko is there, warri is there, port hacourt is there, akwa ibom port is there, calabar is there.... Why is the whole Nigeria tied to lagos?

You see on the front page news of woman beheaded in kano for blasphemy... Are you proud of that as a Nigerian?

People are Fighting against all these imbalances are you are yarning nonsense about foodstuffs from the north... Na only north get farm lands... Rubbish

All these things would work once they are backed up by spiritual powers; it will not work without invoking the demons behind them.
That is what what I'm saying ...

People will think it ordinary herbs, roots and vegetables they are playing with.

Once the demon is invoked ... It will build house on top of person head... One cannot just wake up one morning and decide to stop using "these ordinary vegetables " ...

The demon will start causing problems for the person.

seriously, why didn't they have kings then? I don't mean like the Yorubas sha that has an Oba on every street, but at least someone similar to the Emir, Sultan, etc
That's cos they are very independent minded and don' t like weaving their lives around a singular person or entity.

They don't like being depended on (they see that as a burden) and don't like being dependant on other people (they see it as laziness)

In their mind, every igbo man who is capable of setting up a house and maintaining it is the king of his house... Nobody have the right to come and say he is the ruler or master of another man's house.

So those who want recognition, respect, wealth and chieftancy titles will have to work very hard for It. For example, if you want to be a small chief, your barn must contain 1,000 tubers of yam. ... If you want to be a high chief, your barn must contain 10,000 yam tubers.

So everybody start competing in one way or the other to be the master of a trade so that others will not look down on him.

If you build a fine house today, your neighbor will not want to be outdone so he will sell his 10,000 yams and build a bigger house that is better than your own. Everyone start competing against his brother and try to be better....

Unfortunately, when igbo, travel out to other places in their pursuit of better life... They take their competitive spirit along...

Ijaw people who is only pre-occupaid with fishing or yoruba man who is only concerned witj his farm will be shocked when they wake up one morning and see that the igbo man that came not long ago has built a big House and brought a new car..

They will start saying igbo like money, igbo are proud, igbo want to dominate them... But that is not true.

The igbo man only want to be the best around him.... That's all.

That is why they don't have kings ... All these Eze/igwe you see are just there for decoration. The eze/igwe has no power over another man's house and if he overstep his boundary, his people will sack him sharply.

Political immnunity in the Nigerian constitution is the reason why they can't sack inefficient politicians as they would love to.

If you so much believe that the knowledge of root and herbs should be secret and esotric, then you proof God wrong who left all for mankind without hidding any except the wisdom tree.
Thank you my dear... The answer your question is up there ... You have said it yourself except u didnt say it quite clearly.

God did not hide the forbidden tree/fruit from Adam and Eve. The tree was within their reach. God only instructed them not to eat from the tree's fruit. Why? What happened to Adam after he ate the forbidden fruit? He started telling lies.

The same reason why God told Adam and Eve not to eat from the forbidden tree ... Is the same reason why you should keep the knowledge you are sharing with people to yourself alone.

One man's meat is another man's poison. It is the same gun police use to protect people that armed robbers use to rob people.

Though the knowledge of herbs and roots usage has enlightened you, ... The same knowledge can corrupt another person and the person could begin to use/deploy the knowledge negatively . I hope you get it now.

Cheers.

I don't dabble into such spiritual matters because it is like... Looking for additional trouble.

Demons will come and build house on top of person head....

It is not all des herbs and plants that actually do the work... They only act as scent/perfume to attract spirits that will do the work.

And once u get spirits to work for you... You can't just dismiss them like that... If you don't have problem, they will begin to create problems for you so that will continue to depend on them.

Before you know it or a year later... You will start using the blood of chicken and goats instead of herbs and plants.

If u decide to stop everything. .. They will wreck ur life... Lost job, ill health, accident, etc.

If u don't want trouble, stay away from these things cos just like other worldly pleasures... Once you start, it is very hard to stop.

All these things, even though they look good can be also be used to evil purposes.

Like that tutorial on how to avoid repaying debt you owe another person... It can give person courage to start borrowing money from people with no intention of paying back...that's very bad.

U talking abt full glass doors. What abt the children, wont they skata the door for you?
We have two full glass doors at home... For Up and down living rooms.

The bottom slides have gone bad. angry

The repair guys said they'll have to dig into d side wall and tiles in order to get out and replace d aluminum frames in the wall and floor.

Person will have to buy replacement aluminum racks for the glasses, replacement tiles, cement and paint. angry angry

I told them I will consider... Pulled d giant glasses out of the rails to avoid breakage and cover d d door with curtains. sad

We often host large number of people in the house hence need for wide lounge doors. I think foldable/swing glass doors is better than replacing the slides.

So all these flashy designs the o.p dey propose... They are expensive to acquire, maintain or replace.

Large space indoors without enough supportive under walls or pillars will make the upper floors decking begin to crack over the years. I've learnt lots of tough lessons from all these.

Better have a house will small stuffed rooms than have spacious house where you will have to be calling bricklayer to put pillars here and there when u begin to see cracks after 12 years.

Glass! smiley, many people don't know what beauty beholds a house with glass walls and frame-less doors. the figure below shows example of smart designs with cheap expenditures. polished wooden glass walls and windows and doors will do, especially if you are building a ....
Do you know how expensive it is to replace glass walls/doors if they get broken?

How about constantly cleaning them?

If you live or want to build outside the cities, do you know how hard it is to find professionals that can fix these things if they go bad?

You think your designs are cheap... In the short run they may be cheap... But in the long run, the cost of maintenance can drive one mad.

How practical is it to use wall papers in a house with 3 or 4 young children? How many times will one change wall papers after children have written graffiti on them or torn them?

Is it only well educated people that will be living the house? Neighbours nko? If people from village or outside town come to visit you and stay a while, your house will be a mess...

I know wat I'm talking about ... We have those soft fancy double/hot-cold taps installed at home.... I can't count how many times I have to call plumber to replace the taps when they begin to leak cos of soft seal or get broken when overturned by visitors.

Since then I have been replacing the soft fancy taps with those strong cast bronze-iron taps.. I can't remember the last time I called plumber.

Those bedrooms with lot of space in them... A typical Nigerian woman cannot live there... You see the kinds of luggage Nigerian women carry when traveling ... At home, where do u think they keep all those things? That is why bedrooms are always stuffy.

You designs look cheap and simple ... But in the long run, they are expensive because they are not durable and will need to be replaced at least every three years.

We don't sit on chairs in Nigeria we sink into chairs. If naija children jump on those ur simple /soft foreign bed and chairs, u will not recognize them again wen u com bak from work.

One man's poison is another man's meat. Do u know if people in other countries find Nigerian architecture beautiful and appealing?

How will your designs add value to the economy since everything is imported?

What about weather ... Humidity ... Heavy rain fall... Terrain factors? In areas with heavy rainfall /water/humidity ... U can't just build des types of house except u want problem.

They don't massacre, burn and sack whole local government .

They don't bomb motor parks

My community produce crude oil but for the last three years... We and other surrounding communities don't have light because BEDC Said they are owing 5m.... They paid BEDC yet they refused to restore power... Chairman, Senator and Rep have intervened.... Bedc refuse to budge..

Three good years, no light.... And city people want to die cos they don't have light for one week.

Na only city people sabi enjoy electricity?

In fact ... After pipelines, they should go and bomb high tension power lines... I will cheer them.
