overcomer90: First of all, there are no lucky ones if u don't do the needed work and u hope in luck then Oyo lo was. Things I did differently 1. Forgave my self for believing in luck to gain MBBS admission. The price must be paid in full and even extra. Some even pay the price in advance (u know those u-16 guys that always blast jamb) 2. Read wide for bio, chem and phy.(u cant neglect any valuble shit cos it can cost u a mark. U know what 1 mark mean for MBBS admission? Read hard , Read smart. Never get angry when u fail questions cos that how u learn. The key is to keep improving. If I am to study for jamb btw now and next yr, I am sure I will learn thousands of knew things including correcting previous misconceptions. 3. Know ur capability - choose a credible school where u have the highest chances of gaining admissions for MBBS. From my experience state schools favor their indigenes, and every other geopolitical zones favor its people but ui is for all it only favor eld. 4. Study and always be on or above par with fellow aspirant in real time and online tutorials including study groups. 5. Start the blasting from o level (important subjects) waec try to get as much a as possible with at most 1 B. This I knew very late, meaning I had to do GCE again just for the A's. 6. Get the right pqs, and textbooks. 7. Learn from ur own personal mistakes u are ur best teacher. 8. Never give up . . . . . The list goes on and on. For me no 1 and 8 where what changed my life. all points are valid except 5 |

chukxie: If we didn't have such a stupid and cumbersome educational system in Nigeria, a brilliant lad like that young man should have been in his third year of college. In the part of the world where I live and work, 12th grade students write only one final exams which determines which tier of universities they would attend (here universities are categorized into 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tiers ). There's nothing like the meaningless university matriculation examination we have in Nigeria. Jamb has ruined a lot of dreams in Nigeria. Honestly, I Jamb should be scrapped. In my own opinion,JAMB is the best think to have happened to the Nigerian educational system cos as it stands now,WAEC,NECO,NABTEB and the likes have been compromised. I regret having to say that I sat for my WAEC in a sort of "miracle centre" but when you attend a school where you either pay to be allowed to cheat or you are not allowed to write what you know, you'll understand. In summary,if not for JAMB,I would probably never have a chance to realise my potentials. |

destinie2019: THIS IS SOLID ADVICE. LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT A MATE OF MINE IN 100L MEDICINE AND SURGERY, UNIJOS 1992. HE HAD DONE JAMB, THRICE. WAS GIVEN CHEMISTRY, THRICE. FOURTH TIME AROUND HE GOT MEDICINE. THEN WENT ON TO FAIL THE FIRST HURDLE, 100L (PRE MED) . AT THE SECOND ATTEMPT, HE WAS ADVISED TO WITHDRAW. HE APPLIED TO THE CHEMISTRY DEPARTMENT AND WAS ACCEPTED. THIS TIME OLD BOY WAS APPROACHING 30. HE DID THE CHEMISTRY HAPPILY. (TRUE STORY, SIR) Tales like this make my bones shake . . . May God be with us |

But this is why people say that if you want to hide anything from an African, hide it in a book because we don't read. When thieves came to my house in my absence, the only place they didn't ransack was my book shelf, meanwhile that's where I usually keep my laptop and money when going out thanks for the heads-up,we'll visit again |

Drmoh090: Owoukourua that's how i see it too(childish) and decided to bring it out for better study suggestions bro . . . Try and read faster and <==> don't waste your time trying to rewrite what you've read word for word.Rather, take down notes. The notes should be according to your own understanding of what you've read, using your own words where possible. |
