Romance / Re: Sex On The First Date by Owutuotuo(m): 3:58pm On Dec 01, 2023 |
My feedback will be strictly based on your write up and not morals. You showed a chart that depicts people’s opinion about it. The nature of your population and sample space was not disclosed. Who are those you considered? What are their age ranges mostly - teens, young adults, or middle aged? Is this a feedback from 10, 50, 100 or 1000 people? You also didn’t say. Are your respondents mostly men or women? You didn’t say. Their “why” would they or not do it isn’t checked. On this basis, you may want to reconduct your survey, state your parameters and assumptions and they’ll help us understand the facts more, beyond your own obvious opinion. Well done, and your topic is worth the read. 1 Like |

eagleonearth: Lol. If you’re not a priest as a Christian, what then are you? Yes, Jesus is out High Priest and the veil is torn once and for all. That’s why I said, what to wear and what not to wear are doctrinal issues, with the baseline being moderacy. |

You shouldn’t feel odd. - that they majorly wore trousers don’t make the less of God’s children as well as you, and that they’re characterized with wearing skirts (or iro), don’t make them true Christians at heart. God sees every heart and intent and know who serves and loves Him. - same with scarf. It’s a doctrinal topic. In CAC, MFM and their likes, men don’t cover their head in church or prayers. Whereas in bible times, they did, to pray, even still done in Israel today. You find skull caps and mitres on priests of episcopal rank in orthodox settings. So, it’s a doctrinal practice and not an element of your faith in, love for, and worship of Jesus Christ as LORD. - Speaking in tongues is a gift given as a token oft evidence of the infilling of the Holy Spirit. It’s a New Testament substance. We had prophets of old and fathers in faith who lived in Old Testament times carry God’s Spirit (e.g Samuel, Elijah, Elisha, David, even Joseph), but not with the evidence of speaking in tongues because it wasn’t a thing of their dispensation. All you need to do is ask God to give you that gift ‘cos the advantage is massive. Caveat: That one speaks in tongues doesn’t make the person a true Christian. Cain and Abel both offered sacrifices (in this case, speaking in tongues) but He refused Cain’s (just as He hears not the the one who regards iniquity in his/her heart). I hope this helps. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

How deader than dead will the issue of the Lekki shooting be, with the coming into power of the same government and affiliations that allegedly gave the order? Years after the massacre, there’s been no vivid closure, no convictions, rebranded police brutality, and head-front opposition to protest. If justice delayed is Justice denied, how worse then does denied Justice keep peace afar? |

It’s in the records the heavy investment SRK’s administration made into the sector. Hopefully, we will see the number of out-of-school children in Kano state drop drastically, driven by properly-managed financing and strong advocacy. |

Rubbiish: You sure have a point but then, the question to ask is: Is the economy of that state public or private sector driven? Do you know why Lagos is thriving? The private sector drives the economy. In many states, the people depend on salaries that’s even so meagre. You can count big companies with your fingers. In the case of Abuja, there’s an appreciable presence of the private sector, but the economy is still mostly driven by people’s dependency on government affiliation through contracts and employment. @OP Consider food business, you’ll hardly ever go wrong with it. Bolt/Uber too, but be wary of where you taxi people at night. It can be pretty dangerous in isolated places. If you’re good at networking, try penetrate government circles, over time you’ll start getting contracts. Overall, depend on God for direction. 3 Likes 1 Share |

damosade: PSBs like Opay and Kuda are taking on increasing market share but cannot take over DMBs in the real sense. Their licenses are different. Their capital bases are incomparable. Liquidity requirements. Products and services port folio are less robust compared to DMBs. But for the payment services market, they’re increasingly enjoying market adoption. |

Please remind me of what the Nigerian Constitution says should be the least qualification for the OPFRN. P.S. Before you fight back with abuses, I’m not even a fan of Peter Obi. Investment / Re: Elumelu’s HH Capital Acquires 25.58% In Transcorp Plc by Owutuotuo(m): 2:27pm On Apr 27, 2023 |
These purchases are strategic. Transcorp gets a huge cash flow during election year. Many of the meetings and consultations by politicians, major deals by magnates and high profile events hold there as often as can be. You can see this the same way it was for telcos during COVID lockdown. Telcos raked in a lot on data traffic, and had their cost reduced in the operation of service centers. There was a wealth shift that year. That’s the same way these two have positioned themselves. Wait to see what Transcorp will declare as profit and dividend next end-of-financial year. |

marostan: Truth be told, crypto trading is highly risky with its high volatility. Anything - from a dying president and a war, to OBJ not endorsing BAT - is potent enough to swing the behavior of market participants to making it bearish or bullish, mild or sharply. However, understanding its workings - Wallets, exchanges, white papers, peer-to-peer trading etc - won’t be a bad idea. It’ll only help you to make smarter financial decisions. Even the one wey you dey see your money physically, when Emefiele and the Bankers’ Committe decided on the policy that influenced cash crunch recently, how many business convulsed and others died? The nation lost tens of trillions of Naira because of a bad monetary policy. The policy-driven antagonisms against cryptocurrencies and trading has been because it’s breaking the norm and and deceit created by Central Banks and their governments. Governments want to keep a strong influence on the finances of citizens. Even now, there’s been no defined framework or regulation in a lot of countries ‘cos the idea of it is wide. It’ll take a lot of time. But learning, they say, empowers you. |

Blessing has always been uncouth and uncultured. I had to unfollow her on IG for the way she talks. She’s gotten herself in trouble. She just might end up being an ex-con if her defense isn’t strong enough in court. Overall, my advice is not to look up to people like her.
