Liftedhands:
oh poor kid! This thing showed my son shege!! Used all sorts it only relived for a while then returns. Heat aggravates and makes it painful and itchy too.

Was given agbo to drink myself and to bathe him with cos I was told as I nurse him we inter change it. Which means as I'm treating him and not treating myself that it will keep reoccurring.

We don't wear clothes for him most of the day and use ac to keep him cool.

We battled it from 6 months to about a year one month. I noticed it dried off when I used Apple cider vineger to rub his body. Might sting a bit but it went away when I used that.

Can't say for sure which worked cos I was drinking Agbo, using calamine lotion, palm kernel oil, and Apple cider all at once.

Antibiotics didnt do nada! Infact it came out with vengeance like I awoke the sleeping ones inside his body when I used antibiotic, both topical and oral.

Since then we never had it, might be he outgrew it ( ran it's course) or something among all I used worked.

glamouree:

I have been following this topic, as I'm also suffering from similar issue. I have had these scars for as long as I can remember.
Over the years, I have had so many treatments, seen several dermatologists, most of them diagnosed it to be acne. Recently I tried obagi new dern system, which didn't really helped.
It's got nothing to do with personal hygiene, as I have my showers morning and night, change my boxers and clothes daily and I also live a healthy lifestyle.
Log into my whatsapp, I can then ask a few questions. I may also ask for photographs of the lesions and give advice/solution.

I want to take on your case but this forum is too noisy for now. Log into my WhatsApp and take a few questions that will help with your treatment or I will paste a link here or in your WhatsApp for you to download and study by yourself and take the necessary action. After that you can ask me any questions you want. The problem must end.

.He might be autistic. Does he simplify sentences. e.g instead of mummy want to buy me buiscuit. He says mummy buy biscuit in an unclear manner.or mummy me watch cartoon. most tym pipul close to them understand them perfectly. One i know is 7years. He says what a 7yr old is supposed to say. But only we that stay with him understand his speech. my friend say he speaks swahili. Bt na english oo. Lol.
it also affect their writing. They are not gud at it. They cant comprehend words. Their letters face backwards. b luks lyk d. Be patient with him. Even if it affect his academics giv him xtra care. Did i 4gt to add that they love music and drawing. My personal research tho. I advice u stll gt professional advice.

@Lynx001: Oga na talk bring talk o.
The 7yr old you are describing here; that writes dogs for gods, d for b, ......p for d ......V for A has dyslexia. Dyslexia is a form of brain damage. The important thing to know is that they can use hyperbaric oxygen therapy to treat this condition. Waiting and watching patiently does not solve problems. It will rather be a waste of opportunity to treat. More info to you if interested.

Scammers don't let us know those that really need helps,is a pity
This nonesense you wrote here can stop this child from getting the help he deserves leading to his death and you will be fingered as one of the causes. What stops you from calling the lab and the doctors involved in the case even when you see the phone number?
What stops you from calling the media station to verify?
This is a genuine case that needs urgent help.

mamas pls help..my dd fell off the bed..i have massaged her body with hot water, and given paracetamol, what else can i do cuz she was crying at night..And now the minder in creche just called that she vomitted this afternoon..could it be teething...or the fall..shes almost a year old.
Answer PartA: Falling off beds by little babies needs to be taken seriously because it may cause head injury if the head is involved. Now you have two signals you can not wish away: 1) unwarranted crying, 2) unwarranted vomiting. More signs of injuries may be present. Massaging with hot water for a possible head trauma is not a treatment. The baby needs to be examined by a hospital physician.
