HealthRe: 3 Months Old Baby Neck Not Stable!!!pls Help by oxypress: 11:11am On Jan 27, 2019
comtem2011:
Cerebral palsy just like that? This child is 3 Months old for goodness sake, how do you expect a stable neck at that age? @op, your baby is fine. You are just been curious and that's normal in ftm. Your child has no issue.
Not cerebral palsy? So what is it?
First time mom or not this op has a lot of commom sense and has been intuitive enough to know that something went wrong. If you are not a medic mere googling for a few days is not enough to disprove what I say.
This op is not naive and something tells her that something is wrong and she is struggling to find answers.
Do you know that she has put up complaints in up to 3 threads for the same problem?
Do you know that in each of these threads new information is popping up?
Do you know that a small percentage of under weight babies can come up with CP?
Do you know that prolonged labour can lead to CP?
Do you know that delivering a baby (by cs) whose head is already down in the pelvis and the surgeon going to extract it from above from deep-down -below poses a problem?
Did you read where she said the head was down and the doctor waited for more that 8 hours before a cs?
Do you know that when a babys head is down the unbilical is being stretched and compressed reducing blood flow?
Do you know that some babies cord even when long can go round the neck several times and impede blood flow to the brain and delay labour? Do you know that when umbilical cord become short it may not allow the baby to come out except you pull it out by force? (This is why the doctor delivered from above by CS, he is not gonna explain everything if you don't ask).
Do you know that some cords are short and may not allow the labour to progress further?

Do you know that when labour in not progressing the baby may be suffocating?

Do you see the other thread where op said the babys limbs are weak and cannot stand with support? I am not saying they can stand on their own o.

The neck muscles are also weak. The muscles in the tongue are weak.

I have seen exactly this type of case before in my village. I told them what to do but they never obeyed. They went to all the teaching hospitals at the end na story story.
HBOT can do much more for a baby with cerebral palcy. No one is compelled to accept my advice. In another 3 months we shall know who are the liars here. We shall know who are the deceivers. We shall know who are the fake medics here. We shall know who satan is using to destroy peoples lives here. For the sake of the patient I just wish I was wrong!

To take early action now (and waste the money) or to waite and see until 'water pass garri': which is better? People spend time in doing immunisation to prevent disease, in this case hbot is not different.

I stand by my diagnosis. Only time will tell who is spreading false advice or false hope.

When you go to a hospital with good records, about one in every 15 children who attend has neurodevelopemental problems. Attending clinic is not the problem. But the problem is the parents ignored all the early warning signs and failed to take action on time. Why?; BAD ADVICE!!!

This is not an advert: if you know your baby has suffered some birth injury ( birth asphyxia) there is no harm in seeking for a preemptive treatment like hyperbaric oxygen therapy (hbot).
And for those who say I am wrong let my advice be nonesence to them.

@ajakaye83; as I said before I am following this case 'bumper-to-bumper'.
In another thread you said the baby has: hypotonia, floppy baby syndrom. Was this direct observation or diagnosis made by you or a medic?
Don't allow people who don't know 'ekpini' to confuse you. As it stands now the best thing to do is to look for hbot. Hypotonia or floppy baby syndrom are signs of brain damage caused by perinatal hypoxia. The best treatment for that is hbot. I am not borthered about the contrary opinions people are giving. We have gone through all the corridors of med sch and health services. HBOT cannot be found easily. Beware of the fake and inappropriate therapies. Your baby needs oxygen to recover and it is hbot that can provide that level of oxygen.

I have been having this discomfort in my heart for sometime now and I went for an ECG.

The ECG says possible myocardial ischemia.

Please what does it mean?

Can I be able to manage it till I grow old and die?

I'm worried.
Oga,abeg just stop talking about death wan time. Nothing go kii yu my friend. Ischemia means insuficient blood flow into the heart muscles, which means oxygen deficit. There are drugs doctors can give to improve your condition to keep the heart going for a long time.
But the fact is only hyperbaric oxygen therapy can actually heal the oxygen deprived cells and improve the circulation of blood within the heart muscles. Please note the difference. The heart pumps blood every where but not enough to itself: what an irony!
We can always help when needed, bros.
HealthRe: 3 Months Old Baby Neck Not Stable!!!pls Help by oxypress: 5:00pm On Jan 24, 2019
I am still following this case but now I have to state the diagnosis so that you will not continue to struggle for nothing wasting your time.

You just said somewhere in another thread that the limbs are weak. Take note: the diagnosis is cerebral palsy, CP.
That is the truth and it is bitter. Hope you have not wasted your money for karyotyping.
Cerebral palsy is difficult to treat by conventional medical standards. We manage CP patients with hyperbaric oxygen therapy and patients begin to see results from the very first day. But you need months of treatments.
HBOT takes time and resources. But gradually they begin to see positive results. For further clarification click on 'oxypress' and talk with us.
HealthRe: ... by oxypress:
What ever you guys are explaining here can be caused by insuficient blood supply to the tissues involved. Poor blood supply means low oxygen and nutrients delivery. There are many causes for low blood (oxygen) supply as well as many different expression of manifestation. In quadratic equation one can put it like this: a+b = c+d. Hope some rugged medical people will understand what I am trying to say.
If you want a solution for this read my other articles about hyperbaric oxygen therapy (hbot) and hope complain will end because I have released the 'expo'
We bring solution to problems that can not be easily solved.
HealthRe: My Friend And His Addiction To Tramadol by oxypress: 5:02am On Jan 21, 2019
gwine0047:
I've searched so much online on the"abuse of tramodol" and also on how one can get over it.
I'm yet to get any information that can help.

I've got a friend who ignorantly started using this drug about 6 years ago. He's much more than an addict now.

I want to plead with anyone, who perhaps had gone through the process of breaking up this addiction, to share his/her experience.

I learned about my friend's addiction only weeks ago.
hbot helps you quit addiction from tramadol:
Tramadol is an opiate, a 'hard drugs' that needs doctors supervision.
To quit addiction you need something to help you stand in the gap. In addiction when the mind is willing to quit the body may not be willing to quit. This is because some biochemical function in the body has stopped functioning. Suddenly stopping the drugs create a lot of vaccum which cannot be tolerated. This can be reffered to as withdrawal syndrom.
HBOT can reduce the withdrawal effect by more than 50% and keeps the patient more comfortable and compliant throughout the period of detoxification and rehabilitation.
So if one is finding it difficult to quit because of withdrawal effects hbot is what you can add to your detox and rehab program.
HBOT is what the big rehab centers in Europe and US are applying successfully to help treat people with addiction problems.
We can help alleviate your withdrawal symptoms and decrease time spent on rehabilitation.

Read to understand how hbot helps here: https://www.castlecraig.co.uk/treatment/complementary-therapies/hyperbaric-oxygen-therapy/

Here too: www.smarmore-rehab-clinic.com/treatment/complementary-therapies/hyperbaric-oxygen-therapy

You can see that hbot facilities are very expensive to maintain that is why the service is very scarce. We are on top of the game and have the only physician supervised and functional hbot.
If you need help we can render it.
HealthRe: Over 45s Looking To Start A Donor Egg Ivf Cycle In 2019 ( Lagos/ Abuja) by oxypress: 7:26pm On Jan 18, 2019
Unless your ovaries have been removed hyperbaric oxygen therapy can reactivate the ovaries to become functional again. You can then use your own ovaries for ivf if you so desire. If you are in oyibo land search for a professional hyperbaric facility where they use hyperbaric oxygen
therapy (hbot) for infertility problems and ask. If you need the hbot here in Naija we are ready to help.
You may not need any donor yet.

HealthRe: Doctors In The House Pls Interprete This Xray Report by oxypress: 11:42am On Jan 13, 2019
The doctor saw, examined and prescribed. Your duty is to comply. After that, if problem is not solved you can go back to him. At the end of everything and you are still suffering you can see another medic. Then we can look into it. The seriousness of the injury depends on what the knee is doing for you. For instance if you want re playing for Man U the treatment will be more intense than being a fan for Kano Pillars. So, let us know your occupation.
greggng:
Recently someone injured my knee. I went for xray and here is the report that followed the result. Can any doctor in the house interprete this report to a lay man like me. And how serious is this case?

Yes there was a Scan No dislocation,No grip at all,No feeling at lower hand yet but there is tiny finger movement, No wrist movement. Thanks
If you still need my input, send a video of baby in action, another focusing on the hand movement.
As I said before the next best you can do is hbot. HBOT can regenerate nerve fibers. It can link up separated nerves if the distance bethween the separation is not much. It can reduce swelling and inflamation and inprove blood supply to tissues including nerves.

HBOT is one of the best options available for post traumatic neurological injury. If your medical providers knew about it you would have been referred long ago instead of wasting time. How ever it is never too late to try.
Can the child carry its head? Or is it flipping to one side? Any drooling of saliver after birth including now? Any attempt at general movement? Is the crying sound normal or high pitch?

People who have things to offer can say it in public and not privately so beware.
HealthRe: Doctors..who Knows About This Sickness Cutaneous Lupus? by oxypress:
Lupus and hbot: Lupus is an autoimmune disease in which the immune system it fighting its host causing inflamation and damages. The immune conflict can take place in any organ or may be generalised.
Inflamation in lupus occludes blood vessels and can cause organ damage. The skin is an organ. If the conflict is on the skin blood flow will be blocked and oxygen and nutrient will not get to the tissues. The tissue will break down and ulcerete forming sores or rashes (cutaneous lupus).
Anti inflamatory treatments are normally given. But some damages will not respond to conventional treatments so you need a more active treatment like hyperbaric oxygen therapy (hbot).
Unlike other drugs used for lupus hbot has a very significant responce against lupus:
-it increases bacteria and viral killing in lupus
-reduces inflamation
-it increases blood flow in organs affected
-it increases vascular supply and wound healing process
-it eliminates and detoxyfies the system of unwanted toxins.
To know more serch for: "hbot and lupus".

HBOT is very safe unlike conventional drugs used for lupus, so early treatment is very important to reduce the healing time.

Professional HBOT is provided by physicians.

Thank God for the improvements. We work with the information we get. The normal thing is to see (observe) and touch (palpate) the patient. Here we just assume and arrive at conclusions which is not right. Can we now go to sleep or waite for the the lab Kariotype test since the meds 'who saw' are still in doubt. A picture they say speaks more than a thousand words. Downs Syndrom is easily identifiable. There are other questions that poped up in my mind that I would have loved to ask. May be someone would do that.
HealthRe: Knee Pain Keep Coming Back After Injuries Years by oxypress: 5:46am On Jan 09, 2019
I know your knee is very important to your wellbeing. Please know that those professional sports stars including American football, so ccer football, atheletes who make plenty of money from sports make use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy to get permanent healing and return to the game in a very short time.
HBOT helps injuries to heal. Pain relievers do not. They only reduce pains.
To be in top form you need to do what they do.
HealthRe: Any Experience With A Baby With Upper Limb Injury During Birth? by oxypress: 7:13am On Jan 07, 2019
So this matter is still lingering on despite all the physio. Physio is useful in cases where we are to avoid athrophy. In this particular case it has been counter productive therefore it is good for people to shut up when they don't have useful idea of a problem. In a nerve damage physio can increase cause separation of nerve especially when it is bruised So not every damage must go to physio.
There is evidence that a separated nerve can link up when separation is a few mm apart if they undergo hyperbaric oxygen therapy (hbot). At the time of damage a nerve and surrounding tissues may become inflamed and swell and be painful. After inflammation comes a scar and more damage.HBOT can stop this pathological process with early intervention.
For this patient a few questions need to be answered: Is there any scan to rule out fracture or dislocation?
Can the baby grip your finger? Please grade the difference in strenght between both hands: eg 100%/10%. Is there pain on touch or movement?
While you search for foreign help also ask for hbot after the surgery. It will enhance healing and improve condition.
HealthRe: How Do You Treat Internal Bleeding by oxypress: 2:11am On Jan 07, 2019
pinkguy:
yes she hit her head I heard she have a little bleeding from one of her ear
hbot and brain damage:
The picture is very clear. Your cousin had a Traumatic Brain Injury and now suffering from POST-CONCUSSION SYNDROM. This is a serious condition since the problem is degenerating.
Beware of fawul wey think say dem fit chew bone way lions no fit chew. This problem may be difficult to crack even at the Nigerian teaching hospitals level. But you must go there first and hear from them.
There are hundreds of thousands of people who suffer Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) from motor accidents, sports injuries and warfare. Many end up with POST-CONCUSSION SYNDROM.
These people benefit from hyperbaric oxygen therapy (hbot) as this is the treatment that works for many. HBOT is pure medical treatment administered by a qualified physician. You may also look into this novel treatment which we can offer because you may not find a better alternative treatment out there either.
Your cousing had previously had internal brain injury with internal bleeding. But now she is not bleeding. But there is brain scaring with blood flow disruption and continuous degenaration of brain cells. HBOT can stop and revers the process.
Taking things not prescribed by a qualified physician can make her develop liver problems and gall bladder stones thereby aggravating her already precarious neurological condition. And that is what is exactly hapenning to her now.
It is time to forget about gana alternative melesin, chinko nutritional and herbal supplements, indo-naija agents, cheap (plant) stemcell wayo agents. Dem plenty for nairaland.
Keep in touch if you need to know more.
HBOT is very effective and it is what we do. HBOT helps people with brain damage with different causes including stroke, dementia, alzheimer, parkinson disease, cerebral palsy, add/adhd, memory loss, autoimmune diseases, nonhealing wounds, sicklecell disease etc, etc because in these diseases blood does not flow well and no easier and non complicated way to make it flow.

May she find peace and healing as you continue to search for solution.

Greetings oxypress,

We actually went to LUTH when she coughed out blood that time and we were asked to do a CT Scan and the culture test.
The scan showed nothing was wrong with her lungs but that she has gallbladder stones whereas the culture test showed nothing.
Presently the doctors in LUTH are on strike. I know that all these investigations you talked about can not be accomplished here but i was actually hoping someone or specifically a doctor in the house can help. Plan to do the MRI test on Monday.

Thanks so much for your response
Let me take the easy one first before we go into a more serious one.
I have a specially prepared tea that can dissolve gall bladder stones. You do not pay any thing before I send it to you, not even transport. But it is not free o. We can conclude the rest on whatsapp.

As for the other part of the problems I am still monitoring the answers you give to see if I can help.

Please note that I only take on the most difficult tasks. I stop for now.
HealthRe: 3 Months Old Baby Neck Not Stable!!!pls Help by oxypress:
hbot and unstable neck: There is enough info here to make up my mind: Inadequate pelvis, prolonged labour, failed induction, C/S. The C/S was in good faith and not by greed (so you fit go dash am tombo).
Each of these problems here can cause perinatal hypoxia. Then when the problems accumulate the suffering amplifies.
The baby may not have been receiving enough nutrition intrauterine that is why it is small for date. All the perinatal condition point to poor blood and oxygen supply to the brain.

Poor blood flow to the baby during labour can cause braincell malfunction resulting in weak muscles.
Even at the teaching hospital level there is no specific drug that can take care of this. You can find out this by yourself.

In oyibo land, and only those who know use hyperbaric oxygen therapy (hbot) for this type of problem.

HBOT is breathing 100% oxygen under increased pressure. It is non-invasive and safe to use. It can repair nonfunctional cells and restore function.
Wish you all the best as you search for solution.

Note: I have removed the strong language (hard truth) I normally use. Read my other articles.

Many thanks Oxypress.
He didnt have jaundice. Delivery was CS. I was told he cried after delivery. He is not the crying type too. He didnt cry during immunizations too except the second one. His pain threshold seems high.I dont the tongue is weak though. He twist and stretches the tongue at will and can keep the tongue in control. There is enough milk from the mother also that i know (hope you get my drift). The only concern i observe is during delivery. The baby head was already descended by morning but doctor didnt do CS till like 8hrs after.
Do you think that also could be a problem? He is very active baby just this neck thing nii
I know exactly what went wrong o, I only want you to throw more light so that other mamas here and fake advisers will learn. Some of them are even calling me names. I have delivered many children in the labour room and done several c/s in the theatre o, so I know what I am asking.

Maam, a baby that weighs 2.4kg would have been easy to deliver when the pelvis is adequate. You said the head was down, then why was it not delivered? There must be a reason. Waiting for 8 hrs 'on top' of a prolonged or non progressing labour is another problem. Extracting a baby by c/s whose head is already down is another difficult problem too.
HealthRe: Doctors In The House, Please Need Urgent Help by oxypress: 3:49am On Jan 05, 2019
If the condition is very urgent take her to a teaching hospital near you. Almost everyone here thinks they can crack serious medical problem's without the knowledge for it.
Why was she coughing out blood? She needs serious medical investigation including that scan. All these cannot be accomplished here.

The real treatment for stroke is never cheap. Please read my other articles on brain damage by stroke or to hear directly from me you can easily check for my phone number. HealthRe: 3 Months Old Baby Neck Not Stable!!!pls Help by oxypress: 9:31pm On Jan 03, 2019
I have seen where you gave birth weight as 2.4kg. This is below acceptable normal and can lead to problems. The neck muscle is weak. The tongue is weak so its likely to protrude outside. You said baby sucks well but is there enough milk? If there is then the jaw muscles are relatively weak and probably not taking enough milk. Now where there other problems before, during, and after birth? Was it normal or C/S delivery. Did she cry immediately after delivery? Any jaundice or admission in hospital?

Mumaraoluwa:
Morning house , my baby fell from his bassinets yesterday evening when I placed him on our center table. So clueless of what to do.pl advice
Chei! So sorry o mama. Hope he did not crash on his head. Crashing on the head can cause brain injury without external wound. Few babies who crashed with their head end up with seizure disorders long after the accident. It is easy to forget the cause after several years of the incident. And this is very difficult to treat by conventional methods.
If one does not want to take a chance of 'waite and see' then it is better to throw a few coins in the dustbin than spending endlessly for a frustrating condition that does not go away.
Preemptive hyperbaric oxygen therapy (hbot) is the only solution.
Preemptive hbot will also work for babies who have also suffered from perinatal birth asfixia, prematurity, low birth weight, jaundiced babies, hypoxic anoxic encephalopathy, cerebral palsy and brain damage.
