Guy don't complicate basic economics in your attempt to sound smart and intelligent. We don't have balance of payment. Our import out weigh our export. Thus shouldn't be the case. We are not exporting. Hence we are not earning foreign currency and currency shortage.

LikeAking:
What's the total value of our import?

Divide that by may be 120 million people..

Our import is till very little... We don't have purchasing power..

What's happening is over importation..

Although importation plays a huge role, but in our case our import is so moderate..

Dubai u mentioned, even import sand and they may even export less than us..

We mostly important cars, machines and tech things which is normal in most countries..

I am not in surport of devaluation..our currency has been over devalued.

My point is: Looting of public's funds is the main cause of the devaluation of our currencies.

Corruption..
PoliticsRe: BREAKING! Cfa Overtakes Naira. by oyalunasamuel(m): 10:18pm On Jul 17, 2023
Don't think I don't understand what you are saying. Go and read Karl Marxs Des Kapital. Our exports do not match our imports. What's our foreign reserve? Bro Dubia's exports not just goods but services. Look at Germany. Do you know how much some countries make from weapons sales, auto, pharmaceuticals? Bro.... wake up. You are trying to explain the Vietnamese model. Countries intentionally devalue their country's currency for trade purposes but our is purely trade imbalance.

LikeAking:
You are wrong...

Yes we rely on imports, but is not a that bad..

We import even less compared to our population..

What we import most are mostly cars, raw materials & and tech stuffs, check around you... It's normal in most countries..

Some countries like dubia important everything, even sand... Going by your narrative they should have been broke like Nigeria..

The major problem is looting of government funds, them just they use imports cover am up..

Nigeria they even try for manufacturing..

We produce almost everything here...
PoliticsRe: BREAKING! Cfa Overtakes Naira. by oyalunasamuel(m): 6:44am On Jul 14, 2023
You guys just settle down and support trash. What are we producing, and what's the cost of living in Nigeria. We are largely an import dependent nation so this logic doesn't hold water.

Lifestone:
God bless you. We need to ramp up export like China and Vietnam did.
USA fought China severally because Yuan is weak compared to Dollar, that's why Chinese products are cheaper in the Western world.
RomanceFinding Love: My Perspective On The Quest For A Life Partner by oyalunasamuel(op): 3:20pm On Jun 24, 2023
Finding a life partner is an exhilarating journey filled with highs and lows. It's a deeply personal experience, and I believe that each of us has our own unique perspective on the matter. I want to hear your opinion on the challenges you currently face in finding a life partner, how you deal with the pressure of getting married, and the mistakes you may have made along the way.

The search for a life partner is not always a straightforward path. I find it challenging to navigate the vast sea of potential partners, each with their own set of qualities, preferences, and values. One of the greatest hurdles I face is finding someone who truly understands and shares my interests and goals. It can feel overwhelming to meet new people in today's fast-paced world, making it difficult to establish meaningful connections. I often wonder if the right person is out there or if I'm simply looking in the wrong places. What are the challenges you face in finding a life partner? I'm eager to hear your experiences and what you find most difficult.

In addition to the challenges, there is often societal pressure to settle down and get married. Friends, family, and even society at large can contribute to this pressure, making it challenging to stay true to ourselves. Personally, I deal with this pressure by taking a balanced approach. While I understand the desire to find a life partner, I also believe that rushing into a relationship for the sake of meeting societal expectations can be detrimental. I prefer to focus on personal growth, enjoying my own company, and allowing love to find its way to me naturally. How do you cope with the expectations and pressure of getting married? I'm curious to know your strategies and how you navigate through these external influences.

Throughout my journey, I have made mistakes, as we all do. Mistakes can be powerful learning experiences that shape our future choices and actions. Looking back, I recognize that I have made errors in judgment. For instance, I have at times overlooked important qualities or rushed into relationships without considering long-term compatibility. However, I view these mistakes as valuable lessons that have helped me grow as an individual and refine my criteria for a life partner. Reflecting on my own experiences, I believe that by sharing our mistakes, we can help others avoid similar pitfalls and foster a collective wisdom in the pursuit of love.

Your opinion matters, and your experiences can inspire and guide others who may be on a similar quest for a life partner. By sharing your challenges, strategies for dealing with pressure, and lessons learned from mistakes, you can contribute to a meaningful discussion on the complexities of finding love in today's world. Let your voice be heard, and together, let's explore the diverse paths to finding a life partner.

When a lady acts like that towards you, it’s either two things, she’s either a close friend of yours trying to play with you or she’s tryna be manipulative. Either of these two scenarios you need to play the right cards.
Don’t take her seriously as your feeling and emotions maybe at stake. Pretend as though she doesn’t exist, or she’s not beautiful enough or she’s not in your league. This will be some kind of counter play on your own part. women love attention and when you deprive her of it, you become an enigma something she can’t understand. Trust me in due time she’ll either reveal her true intention or she’ll fall for you. For now this best move is not to make a move.

You can both visit a clinic and consult a physician. Help her in getting a medical care (I didn't say you should foot the bills, it's not compulsory). Be there for her. Leaving her right after she told you her assumed greatest secret would be perceived as being cruel and insensitive.

I wish you both well.

TravelRe: Should I Travel Or Do Business? by oyalunasamuel(m): 6:03pm On Jan 27, 2022
Usually when people tell me that they have money to start up a business and that I should suggest something for them. I advise them to eat the money and when the money is finished they look for another one, these days there too many uncertainties especially in business.
However I’m not gonna advice you to do that, you see 2.5m is less than $5000, so you need to be very practical about your options.
I’ll advice you to leave the country with the right sum, the right connections, and a near perfect plan in mind when you get there. Make sure your plans are carefully thought through.
For the money you have in hand I’ll suggest you do a few buying and selling as a short term plan or option to make ends meet and to help you with the process of leaving the country, because you like it or not it will cost you a good fortune to leave this country.

You’ll be alright.

In my honest opinion I think it’s just a misconception. I remember showing interest in a beautiful lady who happens to be my class mate from secondary school. We got along quite well until, a friend of hers (also a class mate) told said to me in a warning tone, “ na cele oh”. A word was enough for the wise for me. But in retrospect I think it was foolish of me not to have looked beyond her religious affiliations to who she really is. I think we all make mistakes when it comes to this regards.

Although it’s sometimes hard to separate someone’s conviction from what he or she represents or stands for because these organized religions have a great amount of influence in the individual.

So it’s easy to understand or relate.

As a truck transporter, diesel is the main problem of our work these days coz the price is extremely high, from 220 in less than one year now it’s 350 naira per litre, it outrageous and unexpected at all. For the goods owner to add money for transport is another accoutre. When diesel was 220, I do carry goods worth 40tons to Abuja from lagos at the rate of 400k and I will use 1000 liters of diesel now they only add 60k Making it 460k with the same 1000 litres of diesel which is 350k now do the calculation, It’s a bad season for we truck/ trailer transporter. I will pay for agbero boys in lagos out of that 460k, my boys feeding allowance and still pay for tax on the road and soldiers and policemen will collect their own on the road (almost 20 checkpoints from Lagos to Abuja and the minimum money is #500 at each checking point), Honestly speaking it’s really a rigor time these days.
Honestly bro I can relate… I’m faced with the same problems, you haven’t even calculated the cost of your tires which have also risen significantly, and also parts.

I’m not Igbo but permit me to say, you sound stupid.

Eastlink:
Nonsense. I [s]just lost respect for this clout chaser. A big clown in real life. I was thinking this man had an iota of sense but it's obvious he lacks it.

What is this man‘s motive going out in the street adorning Biafran flag in a volatile period. If he want to prove a point to those trying to paint all Igbos as seperatist then he has failed. We have a lot of Igbo celebs and Chiwetalu Agu is just a clown. How many Kanuri celebs come out to support Boko-Haram openly? How many Yoruba celebs come out to support Sunday Igboho and his Oduduwa group openly? How many Fulani celebs has this clown seen supporting Herdmen openly? Do your stupid IPOB in peace and allow others do their neutrality in peace. Don't come and drag every Igbo into supporting an occult group.

If you want to support IPOB or build a fan base for your illiterate supporters do so in peace, but don't come around trying to force your agenda in our throats. You can become a Biafran apologist or ambassador but stop the attitude of generalizing Ndigbo into such movement. I’m in Lagos trying to put food on my table, some of us are surviving in Abuja with families, yet a band of scallywags with their myopic financiers abroad want to make sure that Ndigbo are always in the news for the wrong reason.

Many of us have seen far that this Biafra as an agenda will never do us good from now till 80 years. Rather it will relegate us in every sphere. Anything built with tactlessness, emotions and daftness will end in doom. Yes, a lot might not be going well for our ethnic group as it involves inclusiveness during this administration, and also as it involves a subtle move by some cabals to deny us from becoming President of this country. But will the cry for Biafra make any difference? Will turning your homes into refugees camps make any difference? Will supporting a group of ESN terrorist make any difference[/s]?

How can one retrieve deleted WhatsApp messages
When you delete an item from your computer any device it doesn’t entirely go away. It’s sticks somewhere you just have to find it from behind. Even WhatsApp has a database where all informations are stored periodically. All you need to do is access the DB files and restore it. Delete the app download it again and restore the messages. That’s all.
RomanceRe: Worst Thing You’ve Found, From Checking Your Partner’s Phone by oyalunasamuel(m): 12:48pm On Dec 09, 2020
Mine was a very terrible experience...OK this is how it happened I noticed she had a frequent whatsapp phone call with someone so I asked who the person was and she said that he was just a friend. I checked her message with the guy and everything had been deleted. It was then I suspected a fowl play.
I begged her to tell me the truth so I don’t get to find out myself and she kept denying. Well I took the phone with her consent and retrieved all her deleted WhatsApp messages for a year through the database of the phone and restored the message she could believe this was possible and that I could do it... damn It was one of the most painful memory I hold in my entire life. I found out at some point that she was pregnant for this same guy, who was even a married man with kids and she even took 40k from him to abort the baby. Same time she told me she was pregnant and I was responsible. I found out series of sex chat messages nude exchange with different guys I couldn’t believe my eyes, like this is the girl I was gonna make my wife...

I often hear different opinions and perspectives on privacy of a partners phone. But take for a second and imagine I never found out those messages I would have married a wolf thinking it was a sheep.

Well I forgave her after that and wanted us to continue our relationship because I thought it was easier to fix a leaking roof than demolish and entire building all because of a leaking roof. But I was wrong. She never changed. Well it’s all in the past now.

In retrospect I fear women they hold secrets you can never imagine.

RomanceLove: An Incomplete Guide. by oyalunasamuel(op): 10:23am On Oct 01, 2020
Referring to romantic love, though I believe there is much overlap on the topic.

I have not found much in the way of solid advice on how to find the right person to be with. And after many, many mistakes, I am starting to become of the mind that most successful don’t know why they are successful and have little experience, and those with much experience are likely to never commit to a point to make it work, despite having more understanding. It’s a bit grim, but I guess it is what it is.

Firstly, I think few are ready to share their life with others. Improving yourself is a never ending process and you are tested in far more ways than you’d ever imagine being in a romantic relationship. At the end of the day you can only change yourself. Be prepared to do that… a lot.

Secondly, try to have enough attention from the opposite sex that you know what it looks like and you don’t fall for someone just because they are the first person to bat their eyes at you. This may not be an issue for most, but I think it is for some. It’s good to feel like you have options and thus you feel more confident about holding high standards. But don’t be cocky about it and use that to feel that others are disposable. It can be a thin line between confident and knowing you are attractive to some and being completely self absorbed.

What makes a couple click?

I think many things work and don’t work. I have experienced first hand what it’s like to be with someone who you admire and who is good to everyone except yourself. I’ve also experienced a great deal of compatibility and situational convenience without being on the same wavelength. And lastly, I’ve begun to understand what it’s like to be exceptionally compatible with someone but in a very difficult situation outside of our relationship, all around.

I’m really sorry about your loss. You see it all depends. I forgave my ex when I found out she was cheat. My love for her was unconditional. I felt it was much more easier to patch a leaking roof than start a new building but I was wrong. She started taking me for granted, she became controlling and all that even put it to my face that it was her decision to have sex and she felt good about it. Bleep! She left me eventually. I was broken for over a year.
I’m healed now but i swore NEVER AGAIN. You’d be gone the moment I realize you even thought about cheating.
