He did say we won't have regular power till 2011, but if you read through the entire article, he said we won't have power that will put us in the league of industrialized nations till 2011, not that we won't have power at all. According to him, we're currently generating 3,500MW, and by next year he hopes to increase it to 6,000MW, and then 10,000MW by 2011. Na just 2 hope say they can get the power stations off the ground first.

This infact actually pales to what SA has. SA generates 40,000MW, but yet it's struggling to cater for its population which is roughly one-third that of naija.
