Yet with the money now, i can fill gas and buy more foods.

If can read and comprehend, you will see that my only problem with Beremx is how she goes about throwing herself at everyone to let her disburse money in a giveaway.

You claim I want to take her place but never in my post have I said anything that relates to that. You defend and attack me but fail to admit that she's being overzealous/desperate by openly begging to handle money disbursement for a compensation during a giveaway.

This is what I was saying yesterday, there are people who brought their stories here, single mothers etc who weren't ashamed to put their account number in a public forum(which can even be used against them in future) and they never got anything.

Those one didn't get it, some silent follower who saw the criteria in which the money is shared will just send her a mail since he/she is qualified.

The thread topic says hungry Nigerians but ended up giving only students. The OP had it in mind to give just hungry Nigerians which includes students, family men and women but Beremx came here and said they agreed to give just students, something wey OP no decide before o, it was obvious it was her idea. Fact is not everyone who got the money will come here and thank Lelion.

On another giveaway thread, the op said entries were closed, people still kept on sending their account numbers hoping they will be picked with different pity stories. Entries closed simple as ABC, yet they kept sending.

I believe those that send emails all have nairaland account.

And sending that mail was the best in my opinion, cos you cannot lie, because evidence was asked.

Stop complaining because it didn't favour you.

And that was where the aim was defeated, most of the students that applied and got are not rili in need like some of us that are self sponsoring our education, and even married with kids,the simple thing to do was to accept a simple screenshot of account balance with the name which must correspond with the one on school I.d provided.

The selection and the process was not right.

when screenshots of account is asked, many people can easily transfer all their money to their alternate accounts if they have more than one.
Also people with more than one account can easily present their account that is very low in debit.

There is no perfect way to these things, people that didn't make the cut should stop complaining and wait till someone else will do giveaway some other time.

well from what i have notice you cant use night plan when your on a special plan be it 200 naira or 500 naira .your special plan has to finish before you will be able to use night plan i experienced it myself

Having watched and listen to the president's broadcast on the need for an extension of the lockdown, I could not but imagine what people will pass through within this additional 14 days of suffering. In the light of this, I want to help a few people with a total sum of 100k.

How I plan to do this, I have no clear cut idea, hence I'm gonna need suggestions on the possible way to achieve this so that only those that genuinely need the money actually get it.
I have these modalities but I want suggestions on the best one to choose:

1. 25k each to 4 most needy people
2. 20k each to 5 needy people
3. 10k each to 10 needy people
4. 5k each to 20 people

6. 3k each to 33 people
7. 2.5k each to 40 people
8. 2k each to 50 people

Someone suggested 2.5k to 40 people and another suggested 3k to 33 people, so original post is updated to reflect the suggestions.


LATEST UPDATE: So having gone through all the comments and suggestions, I have decided to go with option 6 but with a little twist.
Instead of 33 people, I'll be giving 3k each to 40 people. That way, a few more people will be reached.
I'm still thinking of how to go about with the selection: Randomly? First come First Serve basis? I need ideas please.

Also, I'm going to need someone that'll help with the disbursement once the selection process has been decided and concluded. Two reasons for this:
1. I'm very busy and may not have the time to send the money to every selected people before weekend. I want this concluded asap.
2. I want to be anonymous.

I have been lazy to type lately, but yes those kids can change to be shy and timid when they become teens, it will just take one event, or things he/she does.
You should know this, some of those kids thinking ability is still minute so they will just go with the activities being done in school.

Events i am talking about that might change those kids to shy/timid kids and introverts are;
1) Rejection from a proposal to a girl
2) Death of a family member
3) Abuse
4) Family issues or problems
5) Religion sermon/views
6) Type of close friend
