The .5 is for the fantastic soundtrack towards the ending. That song is just everything for the movie. Loved the storyline and the way it ended which is the reality.

A commentary on capitalism and racial stereotyping through the lenses of absurd comedy. It is darkly humorous in some parts and creepy in others. The use of some theatrical techniques also add to the overall absurdity of the movie. There are some scenes that are just absolutely hilarious, like the part where Cash was 'rapping' at the party. I brayed laughter all over the place.

The music began playing when she started her fight with the wights, shows how this season revolves around her, see where she even had to order the lady of winterfell to the crypt, "Lady" Sansa obeyed without so much of a resistance, she should have died..what use is she anyways!?

Watching the three dragons brawl was an interesting scene too, you can't have three dragons without riders, a boring sight that is.

The night walker not being burnt by dragon fire deserved an applaud (would have been the case if watched in the cinemas)

And how the stubborn wights fell head on into the fire to create a walkway was laughable, they just started falling in till they created a passage.

And there's something many people are missing here. The NK is actually just a distraction from the main aim of the show. The main aim of this show is not to KILL the NK but the THRONE and who sits on it. Why waste too much time on this while other more pressing issues remain to be attended to?

Now that he's out of the way, we can go ahead with the original purpose of the show-THE THRONE. Maybe then you'll get the big combat you're expecting

And I don't know why you guys assume that Reddit is a White forum. Reddit is a forum with users that span the length and breadth of the globe. I know few Nairalanders and Nigerians who are active there. Any of the comments I posted could have as well been from a Nigerian. People from all parts of the world use reddit and people from all parts of the world post comments on the GOT subreddit. Are people from all parts of the world white? Americans make up majority of the users. Are all Americans white? Must every issue have a racial element to it?

If there is anywhere one would find the most concrete and thoughtful opinions on Game of Thrones, it's definitely on the most widely subscribed GOT forum in the world. The sub has over a million dedicated users for God's sake. So yes, I value opinions from there and I'll make reference to them if I want to.

None of them thought about that. If you noticed, they told everyone to hide there as that is the best and safest place to be. Furthermore there is this belief that the crypt has some magic and maybe the dead may not be able to enter.

Not enough bro, the magic in the crypt wasn't even mentioned. I didn't expect the dead to rise up at all, people even argued about it here before the show but i kept quiet.
I thought there was magic in the crypt and that's why they all kept saying the crypt is the best place to hide.

And i repeat, that crypt surprise was made to make Sansa tensed up to want to swallow Tyrion's d*ck.

IMO I feel the dothrakhis lacks discipline in battle and it affected all the plans and strategies put in place....just mere torching their sword with fire gave dem ecstasy and they couldn't resist than to charge.

Jon also went hay wire when he thought he could use the dragon to light up the white walkers but the NK countered that move by using dark cloud magic to protect them (hence giving Jon and Dany zero visibilities).


Overall it was great to watch again..

I love the swag of the NK mehn!! That guy got some bad assss bounce, guy be feeling on top of the world.

I think many felt the NK's death was too quick and would have love to see it happened in episode 4/5 but hey!! GOT is no respecter of anybody even Ned lost his head in season 1 when I was rooting for him to rule the Seven kingdom.
I need that theme song when the NK was moving towards Bran. I will miss the red priestess (my crush) and her lovely entry theme...

GOT is more than battle, plots, schemes, politics, religion, fiction and magic....even some of the theme gives me goosebumps.

We still have 3 more episodes to witness one of the greatest if not the greatest show ever, and I'm proud to have started right from 2013. No critics can stop me joy

The Red woman had to ask Jorah's permission before she light up their swords and the dothrakis also allow her to do so because their commander approved of it.

I get your point quite alright and I salute your intelligence. But there is something called CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. Most of the viewers criticising some aspects of the show is because it didn't happen the way they want it to happen.
Some of them criticise who does what and why should it be like that.
Criticisms Should be objective but not making it sound as if you know more than the producers of the show.

I share your opinion of without criticism no development but it should be objective.

Its not every time will swallow plot hook, line and sinker.

The movie have a base of fantasy and logic when it began, but it doesn't make sense when things happen for happening sake.


I can't accept that the Dothrakis being overjoyed destroyed their battle plan.

Jorah was made their commander, and even the red woman asked if he speaks their language.

Those barbarians were lined up in an orderly pattern for battle which means they had already yielded to command.

So will they just rush to the wights like that?

Assuming the wights were also coming in to attack, i will get, but the wights were not attacking them.

And what about the dead in the cript? Why wasn't anyone from that knows about NK resurrection (Jon, Tormund, Beric, Sam, Dany, Gendry, Edd) even bring up that kind of thought?

When I saw a dazzled Johnny boy walking towards the Night King in rage & fury I said to myself, this is it!!! The moment humanity has been waiting for! The moment humanity was created for! Best scenes:

How Mellisandre illuminated the Dothraki's confidence with fire and they charged towards the NK, but his wights quenched both the dothrakis & Lord of light in an instant like " <<pufff... pufff... abeg our oga no dey like smoke".

Ser Jorah defending his Khalessi to the very last. Maybe Love is all about what you can give, not what you can receive. I was expecting a touching dialogue here or something. Even in his death, Khalessi couldn't give that man even if na small kiss or peck, haba!!! For this, you'll never sit on that Iron throne!!

Lady Mormont levelling that giant to the ground. My second best scene hands down. Brave little thing.

Worst scenes:
The uselessness of Tyrion throughout. Not even one single contribution. So the discussion he had with Bran was entirely useless? Kept saying maybe if he goes out he'll see what everyone is missing but never did. For a short man, Tyrion is beginning to look like the height of deceit. Thank you producers & writers.

The uselessness of Bran. He contributed nothing for someone we all thought had a big role to play. He warged into those birds to do what exactly? In search of food? He warged into three black Ravens -- confirming he's the three eyed raven.... Ok... Ehen.. ehen?

The uselessness of Jon. It's shocking that Jon, who at a time was the pivotal aspect of this show, has become this.. thissssssss *spits** . This was the greatest Battle of humanity, bigger than whatever foolish battle they have with Cersei, yet Jon had no part to play in it. He was just all over the place. When he quipped during the season premiere that riding a dragon has spoilt horses for him, I didn't know he was referring part of his sense that will spoil eventually. Thank you producers & writers.

The uselessness of the Night King. This one is the most useless of them all. This horn-headed, blue-eyed, dustin- powder rubbing ojuju calaba ended up so useless that his uselessness fried something in my brain, because for the first time in my life, I wished for the ressurection of an evil villian just so he could wake up and die again BUT with sense.

For seven seasons, 7 freaking seasons, this ojuju calaba made me believe he was the ish!! So much so that Johnny Walker had to create a special brand of alcohol called "Johnny Walker the white Walker" only for him to die like a native fowl...

I might be prosecuted for this.... BUT the Night King should have killed Arya in the process too. It would have reduced this anti-climax feel & given his useless war a meaning.

Except of course, like the little suspicion I habor, this Night king story isn't over yet.

People are honestly airing their opinions on what they don't like about the last episode and some people are saying they should keep their opinions to themselves, enjoy the show or go make their own. Really? So if I am a medical doctor and I purchase a car produced by an engineer and there are certain parts of the car that I don't like. I shouldn't complain? I should just enjoy it? Wouldn't it be stupid if I was told to go and make my own car since I don't like that one? What business does a Doctor have with making cars? Are the producers of the show not selling the show? Wasn't the data I used to download this episode not bought with my own money? Shouldn't I have the right to criticise what I purchase?

What you Nigerians do not realise is that development doesn't happen without criticism. No wonder almost every sector in Nigeria is fraught with mediocrity and stagnation. If you are so riled up by someone pointing out errors from an episode of a show you like, I wonder how you'd react when someone criticises something you invested time in creating. The Western science that you enjoy its benefits is founded upon thousands and thousands of critiques and flaw checking. Without all this it wouldn't have evolved to produce the technology and medical benefits that we enjoy today.

WITHOUT CRITICISM THERE IS NO DEVELOPMENT.
