I follow the Series thread, but you'd hardly ever notice because I don't comment. Despite the spoilers, debates and arguments that goes on there, I've discovered tons of good series to watch like

Condor
Jack Ryan
Line of Duty
Breaking Bad etc.

I discovered them by just reading the posts which includes pages of arguments and discussions. From the arguments, you'll be able to discover series that will suit you. I don't enjoy all the discussions there but I know it's inevitable and moreover, reading through them will guide me in my series choices. Movies have been dropped here every week, they just choose to ignore them.

Movie discussion is different from series.

Discussing a new movie is tantamount to spoiling, while different scenario and twists occur as each episodes of tv series goes on.

Some arguments recently are just bigotry.

I skip some when i see what the argument is about tho, just wanted everyone to be guided.

Which of the movies we watch are even non-fiction/real? If we're to go with your benchmark we'd be discussing only movies centered on true stories. Discussion about who discovered America had nothing to do with movies but you enjoyed it because you found it interesting. Exactly what I've been trying to point out. That discussion about the discovery of America you enjoyed, someone else took it as "page eating" as well.

I mentioned the discovery of America discussion as what i can at least class as intellectual discuss not that i like it.

What i mean is by fantasy argument is that one person kept saying Supes is leader while another one said batman is, something a little Google can solve, just like people argue blinding about football clubs history in the past before wikipedia started to blow their yansh. Yet as Wikipedia blow yansh, some people will still continue arguing that they are right.

If you think in your opinion Bt is leader then keep it with you, if you think supes is the leader keep it with you.

Arguing about it back and forth is no longer an intellectual discuss, it means such person/people are just BIGOTs.

If God is choosing who is to be saved, shouldn't it be his fault if ones isnt chosen & goes to hell??
The answer is technically NO because the Bible says that [b]all who believes in Christ will be saved. So to those of us who weren't chosen, the choice as to salvation or condemnation lies with us, and the bible never describes God rejecting anyone who believes in Him or turning away anyone who is seeking Him (Deuteronomy 4:29).
In the mystery of God, he predestines who will be saved, and those of us who weren't chosen, must choose Christ in order to be saved...I rest my case.

I am a Christian but i always think what if i was born a Muslim, a Hindu, Buddhist? Does that mean eternal torture? You don't expect these other religion to accept Christianity.

Not many movies can surprise me with their plot. But this one did.
For the first time in Hollywood, American submarine that was suppose to outsmart the Russians were rather saved by the Russians, not very many movies portray the Russians in good light and the loyalty of the military to their President during a coup.
The climax was epic.
