Wow.

I have been seeing headlines about Rami Malek's performance in Bo Rap, but i didn't bother to put a face to the name, especially when i saw the movie's poster with a man with moustache, not knowing Malek is the guy in Mr Robot, papillon, need for speed.

What a performance by him.

I have never heard of the Queen band before, as seen in the movie, i guess their fans really loved their songs. And Lady Gaga practically mimic Freddie Mercury's stage act at the grammys when she performed shallow.


And the movie had one of the best quotes and inspiring words i have ever read in my life, it happened when Paul threatened to leak Fred's photos and Fred was also at the lowest ebb of his life, the quote goes thus;

"You know when you know you’ve gone rotten, really rotten? Fruit flies. Dirty little fruit flies, coming to feast on what’s left. Well there isn’t much left for you to feast on anymore. So fly off. Do what you like with your photographs and your stories. But promise me one thing, is that I never see your face again."

You probably saw the movie recently for the first time & that must have been after reading the spoilers from here or elsewhere. even if you previously had the knowledge of how time travel & time paradox works, there is no way you'll tell me you watched that movie once & understood 100% of what happened there.....If you saw the movie btw 2014 & 15 when the movie came out & after 2hours or so of watching the movie you knew SPOILER ALERT, john,Jane, the baby, fizzle bomber were the same person, omo you must be a genus then.

Actually one will discover this as you get towards the end of the movie, but you will wonder how come? And the how come is the time travel and the mistake of John recurring even as he kept going back in time to correct it.

Very outrageous plot but had a lot of funny lines delivered quite well by Rebel Wilson. Aside that the film was ok.

The Lobster - 7.5/10
Finally completed the trifecta of English films from Yorgos Lanthimos. A film about relationships and what we sacrifice for them. I would say I prefer this one to The Killing of a Sacred Deer. This one was funnier, more witty and had a lot to examine. Good cast also.

Mixed feelings this one.

Very Few "Memorable" action scene", Dialogue was moderate, the comedy was dialed down a notch. Like with other origin movies, could go both ways (Hit or miss), This felt like Rogue one (Star wars franchise) which was totally uncalled for and had little or no effect on the franchise's grand plot. Don't want to give spoilers away but you can see Endgame without seeing this and i think you would be fine. This Phase of MCU has gone too far for an origin story, i feel captain marvel should have just appeared on Endgame with a little back story, then have her own movie with the plot unfolding after Endgame just like Spiderman's introduction in civil war and the events after continued in spiderman homecoming.
All in all, see the movie anyway tho, it may or may not give you satisfaction, but it can at least wet your appetite a "little" for endgame with little details like why Nick fury wears an eye patch! and of course the post credit scene.

Please let's stop our Know-it-all ish, i have not seen Cap. Marvel, but you saying they should just insert her in the grand scheme of things without people knowing her or what she can do is not right.

Its Endgame, probably the climax of the avengers series.

The introduce T'Challa in Civil War before having his own stand alone, but that was just to further the sokovia story, and he wasn't really there to save all as we are being told Denvers will save all in Endgame.

The strongest avenger is Thor. Hulk too is strong but he his just all about brute strength. Hulk smash. The guy has no skill, techniques, moves. unlike Thor who is a warrior, a demi god, Asgard's champion etc. The producer just want you guys to enjoy the movie and all that is why you would see Hulk stand toe to toe against Thor. in reality hulk does/would not stand a chance against Thor. It is just like you comparing superman with the level of his powers against someone like the Hulk, captain marvel, Diana prince, captain america, green lantern etc. They would not last a minute with him.

What a huge disappointment, for a movie with such great ensemble of cast & awesome locations. The plot was just there, Character development was zero, some of the dialogues were awful & uncalled for, the plot holes were massive, the action scenes were very few, the thrills were no were to be found, the heist it self was more like a walk in the park(should've been more challenging considering these guys were ex marines).

The movie was definitely one of those movies were the trailer actually looked better than the main movie. Though it had one strong theme, greed , which is why i gave it a 5, it should've been worst though.

Try to recreate that feeling of despair after you have lost and the desire to avoid that feeling will prevent you from playing. That feeling is the low that comes after the high. Feel it before you play and you will not have the need to play.
