Movies like Green Book, Bohemian Rhapsody are terribly under-hyped on this thread.

Most folks on this thread only raves about comic book movies everyday.

One of them even claimed that A Star Is Born is not good movie.

I just weak.

Blackkklansman is another good movie that was almost ignored on this thread.

Problem is when you start raving about such movies and two to three watched it and it isn't their taste, they will start saying you are posting over hype movies.

Guy, most oscar movies are always boring so be careful and don't be swayed by awards, but i do watch them tho, i have seen Green Book and The favorite.

I am open to learning just don't know how to start or what to do.

I have furniture in mind though, so i might start that this year during 2nd semester holiday.

Hi, if the school didn't ask you to drop out due to bad grades, I would have suggested you finish the course and get the cert even if the grade is nothing to write home about. If done that way the period you're intending to spend in getting another degree can then be converted into learning something else that is both profitable and could aid your intending travel plan.

It's hard to be in a class with people you're older than but it is possible and can be very helpful in upping your academics. You have to make friends with the smashers and matured ones among them, you'll be surprised to find their are some people who are your age mates in that same class. When i was in my final year in school we had guy who were between 26-30, irrespective of age they were willing to learn from those who were younger than them and it paid off.....it's not easy though but it can be done, you need to keep that bad feeling far away and make friends, even if it's solely for information's sake.

On the issue if travelling abroad, I'll suggest you visit and keep in touch with the travel section of nairaland. There's a wealth of information over there. You would find info on almost all classes of visa for various countries.
I can bet that if you read through that section and follow religiously on the type that suits you most, you won't get another denial.

The reason i dropped out was because i wasn't in tune with the course (engr faculty) again, hardly do i understand when i try to read. If i try to complete the cert like that it might take me up to 4 semesters, so that's why i waived it off to start all over again.

The travel plan is what made me go back to school again, so that i can easily travel abroad through student visa. And its not actually a biggie, because my brothers are there, so i am just waiting to finish up here, but the waiting is what's causing the depression.

Sometimes we complain about our country but we don't scold our individual selves. The landlord said she shouldn't pay her in anger, but she owe him.

Same thing with a woman tenant that left my father's house, my dad said she should leave still owing about 40k because her excuses for not paying was just too much. This woman went ahead to rent a flat beside us, that flat is double the amount we collect from her, but she couldn't pay our remaining 40k.

Well, i know we will be vindicated one day.

So pay the man's money and he won't hassle your mom again.
