Na wa o Tomatoes are not easy o.
Extracted some tomatoes seeds from the tomatoes I bought from these mallams(the long oval ones). Planted since 14 days now, but they are yet to get true leaves, just the 2 seed leaves since, and they look very stagnant in growth.
Tho I've been keeping them indoors from day 1-10, with their only source of light is through a window. Just brought them out 2 days ago for them to be battered heavily by rains.
Can't even post pics sef. Everything looks bad. Thinking of discarding these set and plant again. Don't know if it's the seeds that caused the the problem. You should have first of all dried the seed for like 8-10 days. Get a paint bucket, fill it with good soil. Then pour the dried tomato seeds on the soil, don't bury the seeds too deep, just sprinkle some soils on them. Add little water every 2 days. Then after 2 weeks they would have sprouted well, then you can now transplant into earth or sack. Wish i could have snapped the seedlings my mom prepared (while i was in school) that i later planted in my garden. All of the seeds germinated. Though she bought the seeds but the one gotten from fresh tomato. (All na same process sha) |

darkelf: You see, the thing with action movies is that although quite entertaining, they hardly get to even be nominated for Oscars or golden globes because respected film critics don't feel that they resonate with realism. There's hardly a real connection to humanity and films that tell stories (especially true live stories) are espoused by the Oscar committee Action movies will now be rewarded under a new movie award category at the Oscars called Popular movie category. |

jidestroud: Tomato site seeing
Okay, I got this unexpected visitor who came visiting to see if he could get some ugu seeds to plant. Unfortunately, I had given out most of the nursed ugu, while I planted the remaining. He later invited me over to take a look at his tomatoes in bags which I obliged to. My people, it was a scary sight to behold. It was a total disaster as a project. I kept asking what happened? Why didn't he just simply restart? Every plant was infected and reeked of diseases. I wouldn't even eat a tomato from this plant I said to myself. There's is no coming back from this. The best option is to manage it and get as much fruits from the plants. That was all I could offer... I think planting tomatoes in bags requires using a very rich soil and manures. |

KoiceReloaded: MOVIES WITH MEMORABLE UNEXPECTED ENDINGS
*Contain some spoilers*
- I Am Legend: When Will Smith's character finally realized he was the monster, and not the vampires he ruthlessly hunted and killed for so long. - The 6th sense: I didn't see it coming. M. Night Shyamalan at your service. - The Departed: The ending shocked me. Three times in quick succession. - 10 Cloverfield Lane: Had me guessing until the end. I was like, maybe he's crazy or maybe he's telling the truth? Turns out he was both. - Momento: Didn't anticipate the ending... (the beginning?) at all. - Sorry To Bother You: Yup. Movie basically just goes "F**k your expectations". Hardest curveball I’ve ever seen in a movie. - No Country for Old Men: It actually confuses you at first, like there was an editing mistake in ending it like that. Until you realize that the main character was just as insignificant in the end as anyone else. - The Usual Suspect: The ending threw me. - Enders Game: I was like wtf?! The ending came as a massive shock to me. - Se7en: The final scene was horrifying, but amazing at the same time. - The Others: I never saw that coming. Night Shyamalan-esque. - Gone Girl: The ending wasn't the ending: it was a second act twist that led to another 20 minutes of craziness. - SAW: The first one. The "dead" guy in the middle of the bathroom was Jigsaw. - The Mist: The ending was heartbreaking. They should have waited a minute longer. Woulda Coulda Shoulda... - Tropic Thunder: Not the ending per say. The closing credits. Imagine my surprise when I realized that the bald potty-mouthed man was TOM CRUISE??!! Didn't see that one coming. - The Prestige: One word: amazing. - Fight Club: That sh*t blew my mind to pieces. - Split: No reference or relationship to Unbreakable, and then, POW! - Million Dollar Baby: You expect the movie to be a "rise from the ashes" success story, and then you get the ending... - Upgrade: An unexpected ending that actually made sense, and didn't do surprise just for the heck of it. Where did you see Sorry to bother you? Cinema? |

jidestroud: Quick Tips to Having fruitful Tomato Plants
I tried this out a come of times and the results were amazing. Having seen it been done on YouTube videos on tomatoes, it has become a garden habit of mine every time I go in to do a quick routing checkup on the plants.
This technique involves:
1. tapping a set flower just directly on its head. This helps pollination process, and 24hours or more, you can already see the fruit coming forth.
2. Another method I tried and worked for me is, withdrawing water from the tomato plant. Yes! I tried and you need to see how the plant went into flowering mode. Fruiting followed up almost immediately.
Note: Once fruiting commences, kindly start wetting the plant back. Can No2 be tried on tomato grown on land? |

jidestroud: I can imagine what you went through to make those heaps . I just hope you still enough space to try your hands on some other veggies? By the way, hope you intercropped with Maize? The second rain is here already. Veggie, yes. Maize no. My first maize didn't do very well, i got reports while in school that a rodent was chewing the maize stems. I have been successful with soko and tete so i sprinkled them along the heaps, while the tomatoes have their own bed. |

Netflix hardly involves in the production of movies like paramount, 20th fox century et al. They just distribute the movies when they are already made.,movie B movies and independent ones. Most Netflix originals are also acquired not produced by them. |
