FamilyRe: Are Nigerian Men Taking-Up More Domestic Responsibilities In The Home? by oyin50(f): 8:01am On Nov 09, 2012
Claus: ^^^
We're an embarrassment to you, but not to our wives. I guess that's all that really matters.

So divorce rates are going up and depression levels going higher because men are now helping their wives with domestic chores?
. There's a difference btwn assisting and outlining duties.
FamilyRe: Are Nigerian Men Taking-Up More Domestic Responsibilities In The Home? by oyin50(f): 7:29am On Nov 09, 2012
You people are only deceving urselves. A man should not be in the kitchen unless probably when his wife is indisposed, like sick, pregnant, e.t.c. Even God gave Adam a role and eve her role. Have you asked urselves y divorce rate is higher, depression level goinh higher. Abeg you men are an embarrassment. Despite my grandparents wealth, grandma never allowed baba eat a maid's food.

keneri: Absolutely agree with you. Not only Nigerians, humans in general need Iron fist for change to take place. For China, Singapore to be this great, very tough measures were taken against corruption and environmental insanity. you are either jailed or summarily executed. In UAE now, if you spit on the ground you pay equivalent of N20k, for chewing gum, N40k...and of course you are registered as an offender. You can rake up more than N40 million (no joke) in traffic fines without knowing it because everywhere is monitored electronically. Na when you wan leave the country dem go give you your bill (or remain in jail) grin
. Thank u jor. All Nigerians want is always a pat on the back. Even in the U.S, you fight you go to jail, no compromises, there's actually a law where if kids miss school the parent goes to jail. Nigerians wants to run red lights if any, fight in public, jump cues, trash anything just anywhere, drink and drive all with impunity. The truth is I think a larger chunk of the populace do not really want societal change they only want money to oppress the financially unpriviledged.
PoliticsRe: Oshiomhole Fires 20 Teachers In Edo For Absenteeism by oyin50(f): 2:23pm On Oct 11, 2012
The initiative taken by oshiomole is very suitable for the Nigerian system, to get functionality in place, a stern approach has to be employed , the Nigerian people rarely change based on lenient approaches. In Abuja, when abacha was in power, the city was spectacularly clean and orderly upon his demise, a gradual degradation crept in. For Nigeria to really experience a shift from it's present eye sore, a radical, stern and unrelenting methodology must be enacted. Oshiomole and fashola perfectly understands the Nigerian people and how best to reinstate their insanity (figuratively). Anyone having problems or opposing these radical change is stucked with the conveniences of the disorderly, disjointed, disfigured and destabilized Nigeria hence the defensive approach to anything referred to as change. Change is hard, difficult and a painful sacrifice not some cup-cake experience. Hate it or love it I have said my mind oooo.

mr_man: The fact that Nigerians only ask questions when they are fighting.
For example: man A steps on man B
Man B: are u blind?
Man A: wetin dey worry u?
Man B: U no see say u match pesin?
Man A: u dey mad? Why u come dey shout?
Man B: na who dey mad? U dey craze?
Man A: do u knw who i am?
Man B: who are u?
Random guy comes in to break up the fight and asks, wetin happen nah?
Man A/B:u dey mind dis yeye man?

80% of today's nija ladies would not do this hate it, defend it, or leave it I don't care. At the slightest financial distortion, attitude creeps in. all my fellow nija sister's ranting..... Quick question for u can u marry a bricklayer who insist on not going to school but on the contrary believes strongly in his artisan trade to someday blossom into a huge factory. Heck no. The women I ultimately respect are physically attractive woman who are also attractive on the inside becos it is easier to be virtuos with lesser eyes on u as opposed to a pretty woman who's also beautiful on the inside and preferrably expects no single material help from d man. that one to me is true love from nija context. Visiting Canada I saw this extremely gorgeous white girl apparently displaying uncontrollable love for this 280pounds fat visibly poor man judging from gis 1992 buick. How many of my sisters will do that. Make una keep quiet abeg. Oto ro koro

Habeebpain: Oyin try to study yourself for a week. Evaluate your activities. There must be something you love doing. Something you pay more attention to than any other.
Is it movies (film critic), literature(writer), gadgets (geek), science (nerd), pictures (photographer), food (cook), furniture and decor (interior decorator), paintings (artist) etc.
There may be more than one.
I hope you find it soon. And do let us know when you do. All the best!!!
. Thanks habeeb.

coogar: i disagree with you and pro01 slightly......
the society should also be blamed in large parts - the nigerian society places too much premium on children in marriages. some in-laws lie in wait and wouldn't hesitate to throw a barren woman out of her matrimonial home. in nigeria, the ignorance and the illiteracy blame the women mostly for childless marriages even though some men can't shoot straight! so why won't these women seek alternative means to keep their position in their husbands' houses?

you also have arranged marriages where some women were forced by their greedy parents to marry men they do not love at all - that's an invitation to infidelity as most of these women had boyfriends on the side before their parents insisted they must marry a wealthy suitor! until we do something about these problems, women would continue to raise bastards!
mr. coogar, I am a woman and nothing I mean nothing on earth should make a woman have sex with more than one man. Haba a woman private part is different from a man. It does degenerate and the idea of multiple manliness in a woman. Haba..... It is horrible, filthy, and bad period. No excuses

The rate naija girls cheat is beyond reconciliation. Imagine a 7months pregnant girl begging my brother to sleep with her. And all the ladies supporting this cheating ladies are equally shameless cheats. The biggest turn off is a woman not seeing anything wrong or nauseating in different manhoods in her. Kilode.....naija our own is 3 much. You need to hear married ladies talk in my company about baba romoke's own better than daddy bukky's own. Do not deceive yourselves naija women cheat like there's no speed limit. If u people like abuse me for saying the truth.

And note that the gold digger in my context isn't just the poor girl strategising milking schemes on her prey the rich man but also and most importantly women who priotises comfort, materialism and vain looks as number one.
EntertainmentRe: Man Fakes Death In Marriage Proposal by oyin50(f): 4:00pm On Sep 27, 2012
nyere84: just the rite answer for the fool. Come to tink of it, “it takes two to tangle“ which means, it takes a gold digger to kwn a fellow a gold digger. Simple!!
. No I disagree he is only stating the mere fact. Most girls these days are looking out for something beneficial and aren't willing to struggle with a starter. Hardwork,, intelligence, soft spoken are no longer virtues women look out for again, it has being alternated with handsome, rich, mega rich, americana, sleek lying talkers, oil or bank workers. So wat is the lie you are accusing him of. Where is the love again today? Missess can you marry a bricklayer who refuses to go to school but believes his trade can and someday blossom to a huge block make factory. Abiola did not start out working in shell neither did olorogun ibru. Pls stop deceiving urselves young girls.
