This is expected. It is a normal written or unwritten code that the governor of a state holds the party structure. Why should his own be different even when it was pretty clear that they even sold the party ticket to him? He is free to do whatever he wishes with them. If not for Oshiomole's stubbornness, PDP was already dead in Edo state but Obaseki brought it back to life.

Kwara is very unfortunate. The duplicates of the devil are in all the major parties in the state unlike in Edo state. APC the ruling party, has Lai Mohamed, the governor and the Saraki family as agent of darkness, while the PDP, also has the other half of the Saraki family and other people who are also agents of darkness but masquerading as "light" who want to deliver the people, the same people whom they couldn't deliver for decades they have ruled in all manners of guises whether traditionally, democratically or otherwise. Kwara is very unfortunate. May God help the people.

It is very possible that the "security detail" isn't a police officer. Some of our politicians are members or affiliates of different illegal groups such as cults. When these politicians get into any political positions, members of their groups, in conjunction with the police, DSS or Military provide security for these political office holders. Don't assume that everybody u see protecting a Nigerian politician is a police officer, DSS or Military, some are cultists whom the politician either patronises or a member of the same cult with. Nigeria is a deep place where anything goes.

The three arms of govt, the executive, legislature and judiciary are cesspool of corruption, this news isn't surprising. This is a country where anything goes.

When u hear these world leaders discuss or present issues before their people, no matter the opposing views, u will see how far behind we have gone in Nigeria. Nigerian leaders don't discuss issues with Nigerians, they rather "address" the people, without an opportunity for the people to ask questions or respond to the "presidential address"
