allthingsgood:did u follow the sambo Dasuki case? It is the duty of the office of the SGF to take care of all former Nigerian leaders, not NSA, it is on record when Sambo Dasuki testified in court on how he replaced the SUVs of PMB that were damaged when he was attacked by Bokoharam on his way to campaign during the 2015 election. He said it was from the money he was alleged to have looted that he purchased those bullet proof SUVs, the records are all there. PMB should have known that it isn't the duty of the NSA but SGF to replaced his damaged SUVs, he should have rejected them. |
allthingsgood:the issue begins with the kind of CJN and attorney general a president appoints. These people will determine the direction the judiciary goes. When a president appoints an inefficient CJN and Attorney General, it is a clear signal that the president wants to cripple the judiciary. PMB promised to create special courts for corruption, where are the courts? Sambo Dasuki's case went cold immediately it was revealed that PMB was a beneficiary of the Dasuki loot. Where is Babachir Lawal, where is Timipreiye Sylva, how about Patience Jonathan, Gej and many others? We live in an animal farm where anything goes. |
The blame lies with President Buhari, he is the highest ranking officer in APC. When the party leadership is going astray, it is the duty of the highest ranking officer to call them to order. I still remember so many times OBJ had to intervene in party affairs when he was president, he removed and reappointed party leadership at will. It is wrong to remove an efficient, united, strong and focused party leadership but when it comes to a situation like that of the APC, the president should have intervened instead of being aloof just like what is happening with the country. The APC is in the same situation just like the country, our leaders are still experimenting on which policies are good, whether to do or not. |
Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. If she is happy and satisfied with her husband, who are we to judge? Our opinion will only matter if later she comes online to complain that she was forced into it. |
allthingsgood:everybody knows the right thing. If i see a govt doing the right thing, I won't need anybody to tell me otherwise. How long does it take to prosecute a case? Must it take 10 years? Cases that didn t involve people either in or connected to govt are being prosecuted speedily, while the other class are not, that shows that something is amiss. |
Corruption, denial and hypocrisy can NEVER fight corruption, it takes honesty, contentment and strong positive will to fight corruption. Unfortunately, most of our leaders don't have these traits. |
This news is either fake or a very old news. Christiano Ronaldo is no more a Real Madrid player, only Sergio Ramos is and this pic was obviously taken some years ago when CR7 was still a Real Madrid player. Also observe that in the picture, there is an obvious disobedience to the covid-19 protocols which countries and clubs are mandated to observe. This shows that covid-19 wasn't even in existence at the time this picture was taken. |
thesicilian:I always wonder how people like u manage to comment something like this, even after reading such a sad story. Maybe u didn't understand the full consequence of the story that a man's life is about being lost, the man is in an almost hopeless situation ![]() |
Obaseki has repositioned Edo state. Edo state used to be unsustainable in terms of debt commitments. |
When banning all these evil people, always include their families to it, this will make them more sensible. |
Humans can only try, but only God can protect completely. All those former American, Russian, North Korean presidents, British monarchs and popes that died while still in office, under these "sophisticated" protection, why did they die?. History has also taught us that whatever was possible before, is still possible now and again. We have heard about presidents being assassinated, we have heard of world leaders being in places or situations where they were vulnerable to attacks if not for the grace of God. We have heard of how strange people penetrated the British Queen' s bedroom even under tight security. Nobody is 100% protected, as I said before, man can only try. |
Obaseki's victory is an inspiration to many who thought they can't achieve anything without a godfather. Most of these godfathers survive on the respect people ascribe to them, without such respect, these so-called godfathers are mostly nonetities. |
You mentioned the top ten states and Edo state isn't there, Edo state used to be in top ten, that shows how far the Edo state governor has done to prosper and take the state out of the doldrums of debts the state was before he came in. |
softset:even the govt's social media handles are operated by incompetent people. When the head is bad, the whole body will also be bad. Don't expect anything less. |
8. All those people that always "mess" up and down in the morning all in the name of urinating, it is a very bad habit, especially when u are not living alone, stop it please ![]() |
Check PMB's appearance and ask yourself the question. Is PMB strong enough to stand a physical altercation with any minister, including female ministers? Also, the president' s actions over the years show that he encourages corruption. Corruption cases grow cold once the president realises he was a beneficiary. Take Dasuki for instance, his case went cold when PMB realised that he benefited Dasuki loot when Dasuki he was NSA. Dasuki demanded for a televised trial which the FG refused, Nigerians would have wept with the revelations that would have come up if Dasuki succeeded with his televised trial request. When mentioning presidents that fight corruption and corrupt individuals, trial and exclude PMB. |
It is not surprising. It is only in Nigeria that if any Nigerian leader was a medical doctor, the health sector will suffer most, if he was a security officer, the security situation will worsen, if he was a labour leader, expect the civil service or public workers to suffer most and strike to be banned, if he was a lawyer, expect rule of law to go extinct, if he was a religious fanatic, expect religious leaders to be gagged, if he was a civil activist, expect activism to be banned and activists to be gagged. This is Nigeria where co-professionals suffer most when a former co-professional gets into political position and power ![]() |
How many kva? |
You can't increase VAT, price of petrol, electricity tariff and still expect prices not to rise. That is simple economics and I believe Mr president has never stepped into an Economics class. ![]() |
Engaging most political Nigerian leaders in a discussion, u will realise that most of them have nothing to offer. That is why they always run away from debate. Ize-Iyamu is a very empty candidate. He is all-mouth but no plan, he seems like somebody who will deny promises he made, just like PMB. I foresee a scenario where he will blame Obaseki for his inability to perform, if he wins and I pray he doesn't. |
Humans have always been wicked to other less powerful humans. Just imagine the number of people that were captured to be sacrificed to their gods in the film . Their hearts were ripped off after having their heads cut off, that part in the film just shows are evil some humans are. |
Even If they pay $100trillion dollars as fine, it won't still have any impact on the lives of Nigerians, the politicians already have a standby formula for sharing the national cake among themselves ![]() |
armyofone:when a business enterprise wants to hold u to ransom, what will u do in such situation? We have been shopping before they came, we will continue to shop even when they leave. |
As long as we still have our local markets, no problem . We were already using our local markets for shopping before their coming ![]() |
It would have been pure foo.lishness. How will a person sign a contract that he doesn't understand the language that the contract was written in? When I buy any gadget, before installing anything, I make sure I set the language to English, if it isn't already in English. Thanks to Neved for saving our boy from foo.lishness. |
All these na drama. Nobody that doesn't like a business where you have zero expenses but make a profit of over 100% every month. These power companies don t spend anything on improving power. In my area, we own our transformer, we bought our poles and wires, we paid the officials that connected us, we were responsible for all the expenses. The bedc only bring bills at the end of the month, that is the part they have always played, they don't even provide meters Who won't like such a business? It is an empty threat. |
Youngpharmz:most of u always ignore some parts of people's comments and grab only the parts that suit u. I never said only the poor got infected by malaria. I said the poor had more tendency because of the environments some of them live in. |
Humans keep losing their humanity everyday, everywhere u turn to, u see man's inhumanity to his fellow man on display. |
If malaria has the same mode of transmission like ebola and covid-19, it would have become a foregone issue long ago. It tends to affect the poor most because it is the poor that have the likelihood of living in untidy and mosquito-infested environments. Diseases that affect everybody and the even the rich get more attention and cure quickly. |
You can't expect an election where Adams Oshiomole, kabaka,No-molest, Ize-iyamu are actors to be peaceful, they are major proponents of violence. This is just a formality. |
Nice one. This is not an advert to Fulani herdsmen . Fulani herdsmen should keep their eyes off this project oo. Don't use somebody's investment to feed your animals ![]() |
