Too many deaths in Nigeria and it still means nothing to the govt, they don't even care

you are right. God has voter's card, it was God that voted these evil leaders. It was also God that did not fight to ensure that elections were free and fair. It was also God that collected a few litres of kerosene to elect Ikpeazu for second term despite failing first term. Don't blame God for govt failures, blame the people, the people deserve the kind of govt they have.

if u compare the standard of living of an average Mexican with that of an average Nigerian, it is almost the same despite their closeness to the United States. Poverty is also a big issue over there. The issue is mindset, not poverty. The mindset here has been so corrupted here that people now equate both good and bad. Good can never equal bad in any other parts of the world apart from Nigeria, most African countries.

That is why there is a popular saying that " A people deserve the kind of govt they have". Next time, the mayor or any other official will think twice before engaging in substandard projects like this. In Nigeria, the people wont mind, they will only comment about it on social media and continue with their lives

life is all about risks just that it becomes worse in the case of Nigeria where people value financial gain more than integrity. Every money that goes out of your pocket stands the risk of getting stolen. An average bus conductor prays for u to forget your change, a vegetable seller loads the middle of the tied bundles of vegetable with grasses and stems just to make it look bigger. An average Nigerian sees every incident as opportunity to make money. Because we don't have strong institutions that will speedily dispense justice, these things continue and keep increasing.

that is where the problem lies. The banks don't "need to be happy" to pay me back the money i have with them, they can even be sued for inability to pay me my money. There are many wrong things that we have become used to in Nigeria, we are used to not having electricity, no water, no good roads, standing all day just to withdraw cash from bank, going to an atm that is supposed to be working 24hrs being "unable to dispense". No bank has the right to withhold your money without a court order, even when they tell u to wait, they are supposed to make u as comfortable as possible while waiting for them to prepare any huge withdrawal. Most of what we pray for in Nigeria is because of bad govt, most of those prayer points are immediately answered when u relocate to countries with good govt.

100m on one company is too high leverage than they can afford to pay.

but if he had played N1billion naira with the company and lost, won't the company have accepted it? Now that he won, u are accusing him of greed, please be objective in your judgement, all these gamblers don t win everytime, for the few times they win, the betting companies should always do the needful. I know of friends that have never won even though they still keep playing, they look addicted to playing, despite continuous losses.

Every businessman will always look for a big market for his product, there is nothing surprising in moving to Nigeria for that. The same way I wasn't surprised when telecom companies were coming to Nigeria because of the big market during OBJ's time. Unfortunately, that is what people keep using to praise OBJ today that "he brought GSM to Nigeria", very useless statement. The Nigerian big market will always attract businesses from outside.

you are wrong, Nigerians voted for him in 2015 but didn t vote for him in 2019, he and the Nigerian structure rigged him in, forget what INEC and the Judiciary told u.

PMB doesn't hide the disdain he places on education and qualifications, an illiterate can lead the academia as long as it is PMB that is in power. The only times PMB values quality education are when he needs medical doctors to attend to his personal/relatives' health and when they need people to effectively manage their personal wealth.

I didn't vote anybody in 2019 because No matter how credible any of the candidate was, there was no chance of winning because of the corrupt structure on ground. That aside, I keep wondering how people with so low level of understanding like u, get access to phones, are there no adults around u to monitor and stop your bad actions? which kind of man? A man that is trying to get the endorsement of those that have been killing this country over the years? People like this won't do anything that will help the people because they will always want to be loyal to those who endorsed them even to the detriment of the people.

I love aspirants or candidates who engage the people, not past leaders or politicians. Any aspirants or candidates who visit these past evil political leaders to get their endorsements has lost my vote.

I wish that when the betting companies see that a particular person keeps losing after playing for so many times, the companies should always use their "church mind" to credit that person even if the person lost

Sorry for your predicament but most of the solutions to your problems don't depend on people's contributions. With respect to land, you don't need to pay up to 3years as rent. Cassava is a plant that between 1-2 years, are already matured for harvest and processing. Also, in the villages, people give out cassava stems for free if u approach them properly and explain yourself to them. We were once into farming and I know what I am talking about. I'm not trying to discourage people from contributing financially to your plight but your situation doesn't warrant that, your over N50,000 can even go a long way in solving most of your problems. You don't even need to start it big, but start from somewhere.

Nigerians will expect the IGP, with such level of distraction coming from his family to provide security for them, how is that possible? Unfortunately, he wont even resign . Top Govt officials are fond of using govt institutions and resources to settle trivial, shameful and personal issues.

This can happen anywhere, the only difference between Nigeria and others is that other countries have strong institutions to correct such evil while Nigeria doesnt.

the bill is very high because the Bedc deliberately refused to distribute metres in Edo state. What we do in my place is to ignore what is on the bill and pay what we feel is enough and make sure we openly display the receipt of payment.

The time-table for electricity in my area for many years now is÷ 4pm-7pm and 5am-8am. This is a total of 6hours a day. Anytime rain falls or there is strong wind, don't expect electricity that day. Until this time-table changes for good, any improvement they announce in any news medium is just drama and fake news

This is what happens when u give power to somebody undeserving, he messes it up just like Buhari is doing now.
