Igbosmoker:having a strong league is totally different from having a lucrative league. The English FA have always had a better marketting ability than other leagues. Even as at the time the italian league had a stronger league, the Premiership still had a better financial standing than them. Even now, the financial ability is getting bigger and far ahead of the rest leagues. |
Igbosmoker:u are getting it totally wrong. Monaco became an attractive destination to many big name players when Monaco had the money. PSG took over from Monaco when the money came. Mancity also became a centre of attraction when unlimited owner's finances started flowing. We can't also forget how chelsea became a big name in football. |
Igbosmoker:it seems u don't know the meaning of the word "afford". Whenever u use the word "afford" in such a situation u used it in your statement, it is only in financial terms, it has nothing to do with whether a club plays in the champions' league or europa league. Also, NO league in the world is more lucrative than the English premiership. It may have a lesser quality of play than maybe the La liga, but when it comes to financial power, it dwarfs every other league in the world. |
Igbosmoker:It is your statement that "only mancity can afford him" that I was countering. Others clubs can also afford him. Messi at his age won't be more than 300 million pounds, he may not even be up to it despite his talents. Just that other clubs will prefer to use such money to buy several players instead of putting it on a single player like Messi. |
Mancity cannot afford Messi. If u separate Mancity's finances from the owner's finances, mancity won't be able to afford any big players. |
The same way yahoo boys and ritualists will tell u " na God oooo" when u ask them the source of their wealth. They ascribe their wealth as God's blessings even when they know their dubious lives are far away from God. Do u know what is one million naira? Even some wholesalers he is buying from don't make such profits a month. Is he hawking hard drugs? I don't want to undermine somebody's hardwork but stop over-exaggeration. |
The Russians or Chinese cannot stop our govt from releasing captured bokoharam members back to the society to continue from where they stopped before they were captured. They can't also help our govt to sack inefficient security chiefs, only the president such such powers. |
Nice one |
Sirjamo:Jonathan also saw it as a money making business just like his predecessors and his successors. |
Seetto:this isn't hatred as u make it to look. Sharia laws are being preached in most northern states especially sokoto, the place of the sultan. They lay more empasis on sharia laws even more than the Nigerian constitution. Why didn't sharia laws catch up with these people? Are the sharia laws only for the poor and low class citizens in the north? Your attacking my statement is a confirmation of the hypocrisy I spoke about in my comment. |
Our govt can end this bokoharam issue within one month if they want to but unfortunately, it is a money making business. Only the low ranked security personnels are the losers. Up to now, no sponsor of bokoharam has been caught. The govt keeps releasing captured bokoharam members without keeping track of them after release, all in the name of "they have been deradicalised". The govt keeps on paying ransom to terrorists to free victims. These actions keeps empowering the terrorist group. |
And these are the people that always want to emphasize and preach sharia laws. Bunch of hypocrites!!! |
Apart from Japan, singapore, Taiwan, UAE, Israel, South Korea and Hong kong, most other Asian countries including China, are like Nigeria in how they live and do things. Don't be deceived by what u watch on television. |
Fulanis are openly flaunting and killing with illegal arms while those that want to legally apply for license to bear arms to defend themselves are made to pass through hell to get permission. This is the country we find ourselves. |
Mikecold:yes. He is a desperado |
stanleyravos:wrong use of word. It is an old word for the sick and physically challenged. No human is invalid. |
When somebody becomes so desperate for a position and makes it a "do or die" affair, it breeds suspicion. Check PMB, his desperation to be president has not yielded positive results. It only worsened an already bad situation. Ize-iyamu's habit of jumping from one party to another shows he can't be trusted. |
One hungry country signing visa waiver agreement with another hungry country is not good news. The day Nigeria signs visa waiver agreement with a meaningful country, mark my words, the number of people that will remain in Nigeria will not be up to ten million. These less than ten million will be made up of the old, the sick and infants. ![]() |
Stalwert:stop deceiving yourself. Out of 17 security agencies, about 14 are from the north. U think only the army, navy, airforce and the CDF are the only security agencies? Who is the custom boss? Immigration boss?, Nsa?, Efcc boss?,NDLEA boss?, police boss?, minister of defence?, NSCDC boss? , DSS boss?, FRSC boss?, Nigerian prison service boss?, federal fire service boss?, Nema boss?, army boss?, NIA boss?, DIA boss?,. Not everybody is ignorant like u. |
It has always been grounded. That is why PMB could make almost all his appointments from the north and nothing happened. When all heads of the Nigerian security agencies are meeting, it looks more like northerners meeting. The federal character commission was created to forestall that but unfortunately, some of our people are more comfortable receiving their salaries even without insisting on doing the job they are being paid to do. The NASS that should have ensured that the president sticks to the rules is a rubber-stamp. |
extremelygolden:yeah. Thanks. Another typograghical error. Sometimes the hands can type against what the brain intended. ![]() |
This is why the boko haram problem will continue. |
Dotez:thanks |
As long as u keep releasing every captured bokoharm member back to the public, their attacks will continue. I only pity the poor Nigerian soldiers are pawns and losing their lives in this evil game. |
extremelygolden:you can interchange complement and suppliment. |
extremelygolden:u can both of them. They are interchangeable. |
This is one of those moments that unlikely creatures behave more human than humans. |
This blogger writing and English skills na wa ooo. How is she "compensating" her salary with prostitution income? The correct word should be "supplement". Also, how can somebody already "convicted by the law" according to OP, still be standing trial? It would have been more appropriate to say " she was already standing trial" or "facing the law" instead of that statement above. Thanks ![]() |
We are always our own enemies in this country. There are top govt/customs officials benefitting from this and that is why they look aside and do nothing about any evil being committed against this country. |
