many pharmaceutical/research agencies have gone past the stage that the madagascan govt is announcing. We have heard about cases where thousands of people are being used to test the effectiveness of their drugs but none of these companies are loud like the madagascan govt. Sanctions can only work as far as you have willing allies to see it through which is why Trump's "America first" policy is very unpopular to most of their politicians cos when u deny financial aids to your allies they head off to the next available option (China or Russia) and they will play to the tune dictated by that country.

who are china's allies? Forget all those "borrow-borrow" countries like Nigeria and other African countries, when it comes to the nitty-gritty, these countries will side with America. China only has North korea, Iran, venezuela and a few other countries as allies, Russia is not a chinese ally. US has so many reliable allies. Us has engrafted herself too deeply in world politics. China is still learning, even in Asia where China is located, they have very very few allies, they are surrounded by many anti-china countries.

Most of those companies especially the tech guys, rushed to sell off there shares when the prices were crashing during this covid-19 outbreak and yes most were bought off by China. It remains to see how the whole world will react after this pandemic (Japan has already given package to some of its companies to start relocating manufacturing from China bavk to Japan) cos if they don't unite and fight off China, forget it those guys are on their way to police everybody

china is only producing because there are markets for their products. Only a sanction from America on those markets will bring the chinese economy to a standstill. America has done it to Russia, Iran, Venezuela, Cuba and many other countries. America is in a league of its own. They can still do it to anybody. The corona virus issue has taught America a lesson which is that they have been complacent over the years. Just watch reforms that will come up when they finally overcome the pandemic issue.

What else are they aspiring for? Technological and military world powers, once they cement these two the whole world is China's. And just so you know too, there is a reason China is doling out billions of dollars to African countries in the name of loans

the economic power u mentioned is as a result of big American, Asian and European companies that relocated to china to take advantage of cheap labour and low taxes. If these parent countries reduce their taxes and increase other incentives, these big companies will relocate to their parent countries. Without these companies, china won't be an economic colossus it is now.

everytime is not for politics. If I am going from Benin city to Abuja, I will know I am on the right path if I have passed through Auchi, Okene, Lokoja. In a situation when I find myself in Ore, Ondo state even though I was going to Abuja, what has ore got to do with Abuja? Our problems can't be solved overnight but Nigerians want to see a clear and right path to show that we are in the right direction. Nigerians have suffered for too long, we need change. These are the real heros, not messi, cr7, Tiger woods, Roger Federer and others. They are the ones that deserve the multi-million pounds weekly payments that these sportsmen and politicians are earning. Without them, life will be at a standstill as it is now.

The FG just realised that the stealing and corruption then can't be compared to what we have now. They were only joking then, now is the real deal. The covid-19 has made it obvious that sportmens are not the real MVPs. The real MVPs are the Medical practitioners, who despite knowing that what a patient carries is capable of killing them if they get infected but still continues caring for them, they deserve all the accolades and must be celebrated. Without them, even Messi, CR7, Lebron james, Floydd Mayweather, Tiger woods, Roger Federer and others won't be able to do their sports.

How many sick or corona virus patients have u healed or cured as a pastor? If u did your work as a pastor and the infected are getting healed through u, the non-sick won't be made to stay indoors to prevent being infected, pastors in the bible were healing the sick and raising the dead. If u can't help them, at least allow the govt to protect them. Jesus can't be in a situation without a change of situation.

There is nothing shameful in contacting the disease unlike here in Nigeria where they try to hide everything about PMB as if they love him more than the electorate who voted him. Up till now, nobody knows the current health condition of PMB.

I will continue to blame the federal govt for any loss of lives occassioned by the corona-19 virus. The FG knew the "Nigerian lifestyle". The FG knew that most Nigerians don't adhere strictly to instructions no matter how important, the FG knew that contagious diseases travel faster in over-populated environments just like in Nigeria, the FG knew the high level of poverty in Nigeria and that many Nigerians cannot afford a total stay at home policy, that was why the FG shouldn't have allowed the disease through our ports whether by air, land or water. Anybody coming through the ports should have been tested at points of entries and any that tests positive, should have been sent directly to treatment centres instead of allowing them to go home. Tracing over 4000 people without adequate information about them is almost impossible.

The laws are very clear but who will implement them? Who will arrest and prosecute these evil lawmakers? The NPF? . The Nigerian laws are not for govt officials and their families, it is for other Nigerians.

A leader that does not interact with his followers, especially in a democracy where the ability to convince the majority of the electorates determines who carrys the day, such a leader will always create room for suspicion and rumor-mongering. Not only in this case, PMB has created that culture of never addressing the nation on pressing issues until everything goes out of hand. His media team can't deceive the people no matter the amount of excuses they give on his behalf.

And other parts of Nigeria are happily receiving them, in the nsme of "one Nigeria", not mindful of the security threat they pose to the society, even when their own people are rejecting them.
