It is an established fact that most "big men" don't pay taxes. Only poor men do. Civilised/developed countries tax the rich more than the poor but Nigeria does the opposite. Same thing also happen inside the churches. You will think it is the tithes and offerings of the "big men" that are being used to run churches when u see the big cars and lifestyles they display in the church. U won't believe that most of them don't even pay tithes and offerings but always sit down in front chairs with big lace agbada.

you are not totally correct in your analysis. In countries like china,north korea and almost all moslem-majority countries, even if u pay $1billion to suscribe for cable tv or even browse online, u can only watch what the states/censor boards permit u to watch. U can't even find any other thing no matter how "technically-gurufied" you are. Excess freedom brings destruction sometimes.

you just spoke my mind. There are always intelligent ways of killing rats in a native pot without destroying that native pot. This wisdom is what most of our leaders lack. They don't know what tourism mean apart from what they see abroad. This is why our tourism sector is so poor.

Nigerians are the most undemanding citizens in the whole wide world. Just a few needs like stable power, good health care, good education, good transportation, food security, better security and a few other things, no govt whether Military, PDP or APC has been able to provide since 1960. Nobody is requesting for social security allowance or food coupons. No matter the level of industrialization, any country whose majority of citizens live on less than a dollar is poor.
