Why don't they always reveal the cost of acquiring one company by another in Nigeria? It is so all over the world. I read all through with hope of seeing how much the company was worth but didn't see anything. I hope it is for the best.

I agree bt what has witch-hunt brought us so far? Has it helped improve government or productivity? I don’t think so. We need to move beyond it or else all we will have is few weak people pay the price and yet no power and still same position as we were.

you are right. Exactly why I said we should support the house but insist they are transparent, respect citizens' rights and avoid bribes during investigation. When they are done, we can now also insist that previous military leaders be investigated with respect to investments in the power sector. Investigations must involve everyone.

obj laid the foundation for witch hunting/persecution. His tools for witch hunting were Efcc, ICPC, CCB and all security agencies. The only president that wasn't guilty of this is yar'dua. That is why they don't want state police. They don't want to share security powers with state governors. Obj would have don't exactly what pmb is doing now. Our presidents only become wise, creative, sympathetic, understanding and saints immediately they leave power.

whether for productivity purposes of witch hunt purposes, as long as those people who have looted and killed this country get punished irrespective of ethnicity,party or religious affiliations, it will be welcomed. Same thing should also happen to pmb by successive govts if he is found wanting.

pmb is vindictive. He may not want to forgive because the ways the past presidents acted during and after the last election. But the issue of Ganduje is understandable. Ganduje is pmb's ally. Nobody intentionally punishes an ally. It is strong, corrupt-free and effective institutions that do that.

You see there is nothing hidden about government spending because there is always a paper trail.
The reps are either mischievous or ignorant as the first question they should answer is if the government really spent
$16 billion dollars. all they need do is summon the ministeries to provide documents for the $16 billion dollars but they are not interested in that.

There are a lot of real problems facing the country which the overpaid reps ought to focus on but
they will rather justify their pay with a bogus case.

pmb withdrew $1billion from the ECA for "security purposes" even without appropriation. This should have been an impeachable offence but the house as usual, allowed it to slide. Ngozi Okonji Iwaela once said that some of the returned Abacha loot was spent on power and some issues she failed to disclose. Up till now, nobody knows anything about NNPC budget despite how huge it is. They only tell u what they want u to know. Everything is shrouded in secrecy.

The python they have at Ogba zoo, Benin city is not even up to 10 percent of this one in size and length. Same thing with other zoos across the country. Why can't the managers of these zoos devise ways of capturing these big snakes that are being killed and put them in zoos. I am tired of seeing very tiny ropes called "pythons" in zoos.

Nice one if truely and thoroughly done. They should avoid being compromised. These past and current presidents killed and keeps killing Nigeria but pretend they did their best or still doing his best (in the case of pmb). Nigeria won't have been in this mess if these people really did what they claimed to have done.

I would have expected that by now, the convoys of all south east governors, ministries and parastatals in all south eastern states to contain at least 80 percent Innoson vehicles to show confidence and solidarity with the company but unfortunately it isn't so. I am not mentioning the whole country because no matter how much u preach unity, some just won't listen.

She can decide to abdicate the throne due to old age but decides against it. She started ruling at a very young age but still continues ruling. Prince Charles is getting older by the day . The Queen is a strong woman though

All of them should go and line up at the American embassy so that we will know the ones that were banned. America should also include their families. They kill Nigeria but run to other countries to enjoy life. Those countries they are running to, were they built and developed by spirits?

I wonder what the story line of avatar 2 will be about. Avatar one finished well and completely. James cameron is very creative and story twisting. Let's just wait and see.

That sequel has been building up for many years now. The technology needed to make the movie wasn't ready at first,so it delayed stuffs. James Cameron is known for his 'sci-fi' movie tech and out of the world visuals and 3D effects. Avatar 2's many scenes where shot in the Mariana Trench. Expect an underwater world filled with rich colours, diverse ocean life and an intriguing story line. To cap it all,Avatars 2,3 and 4 are now being produced concurrently. So fewer months between release dates.

I'm sure his sequels will beat Avengers Endgame record

Alita was almost being released the same time with avatar. The technology for alita wasn't even available just like avatar, at the the time the story was written. It took many years to get alita done. But when it finally came out, it wasn't received like avatar. It isn't about how long it takes sometimes.

Maybe Avatar 2 will retake the number one spot. Still being expected though. I just hope it doesn't flop like Alita

I already knew the discussion will be centred on how to oppress customers. Nobody ever talks on how to provide prepaid metres to customers. Nobody ever talks on how to punish discos who delibrately refuse load from gencos despite the fact that the areas they are operating in are in darkness. Nobody ever talks about how to stop customers from spending their money on repairing and replacing power facilities like cables, transformers and others. Nobody ever talks about punishing discos who endanger lives by failing to repair dangerously hanging or lying cables.

Priority differs. In my opinion and Op's opinion, the people need good roads. But from Aba people's opinion, what they need is a gallon of kerosene. That was exactly why they re-elected the state/local govt despite these eyesore.

Even if there was video evidence to prove that the vice chairman participated in the killings, pmb will still say that he didn't know the kind of application that was used to generate the video and therefore a fake video. Nothing will be done. My advice nowadays is that u shouldn't wait to be slaughtered. If the govt can't protect u, protect yourself.

from lafenwa to the ayetoro,u will take a bus or taxi to ayetoro. It used to be N300 as at 2010/2011 when I was there. It is about an average of 40 minutes drive to ayetoro from lafenwa. The road was a mess then. I don't know if the govt has done anything about the road now. It was a very peaceful place when I was there. I still miss the place though. Only place i can board a bike for N20 that year to cds!!!

na wa for u oooo. Comprehensive was the best in the region. I don't want to be specific because of some of the few good students that were there also. Just that the bad ones were too many.

I taught ss2 and ss3 in a public school in ayetoro,yewa North,Ogun state in my nysc days. I can attest to the fact that though my ss3 students were about writing waec/neco exams,more than 80 percent of them could neither speak nor write in English language even though they "copy notes". I have always wondered if it is the same waec,neco and jamb that every part of the country is writing!!!
