all these issues of godfatherism will be laid to rest if NASS pass the independent candidacy bill. When this happens, nobody will need to go and bow down to anybody all in the name of godfather. The reason is simply because Nigeria has weak institutions. You will find yourself in jail in civilised countries if as a public official you delibrately sideline a judge's order or constitution. Even Donald Trump respects and obeys the American constitution and Judiciary even when against his will.
