Most Nigerians have this mentality that anything "imported" must be expensive otherwise it won't have value. Infact the more expensive, the more the value. If u take your local dog worth N5000 outside the country and bring it back, its value will change astronomically. You can even sell the puppies expensively as long as you tell our people that they are "FOREIGN" or "IMPORTED" dogs. |
To your pot of soup, from there to your stomach then to your toilet ![]() |
This post is trying to shift the blame from the south African govt. The question they forgot to answer is that even if somebody else or group instigated the violent attacks on foreigners, what was the response of the south African govt to these attacks? Their inaction and subsequent speeches showed that they were subtlely in support of these attacks. |
Flyingngel:"self-assessment" not "self-accessment". Assessment means appraisal, examination. Your opinion is very right. If our politicians do self-assessment", they will realise they are not fit for leadership. |
I don't think South African students are being taught in schools the parts other African countries played in their freedom. Maybe they thought it was only Nelson Mandela, Bishop Desmond Tutu and a few others that fought for their freedom. Mandela spent 27 years in prison and would have continued to be in prison if not for the efforts of other countries especially Nigeria. I just hope many Nigerians will have the heart to forgive few years from now when we have been able to get our leadership right. |
This country is gone!!! Just check all the comments. They are in two groups with one group seeing nothing wrong while the other group sees it wrong. Same thing happens in every sector and every incidence in the Nigerian polity. Never have the Nigerian people spoken with ONE VOICE at the appropriate time and this is exactly what these criminals take advantage of because no matter the level of evil they commit, there will always be a group of Nigerians that supports them. |
Nelson Mandela achieved alot as an activitist and freedom fighter. But I have always wanted to know his achievements as a PRESIDENT. It is almost an established fact that most activists or freedom fighters don't do well when handed power. I have always hoped the case will be otherwise not removing his legendary status though. |
It is not everytime you reveal your pains or losses to your enemies. It is wise to play "strong" to your enemies sometimes even in the face of pain, just to deceive him. Lai Mohammed has always been known to display high level of indiscretion when it matters most. I can't easily forget when he said Senegalese jollof was better than Nigerian jollof in the face of international lime-light. These people are clowns!!! |
While South Africans are killing our people and looting their properties, the Nigerian masses are only reacting on social media using mtn to surf the web, our leaders are watching it on dstv while the "I don't cares" are waiting for the next episode of bbnaija sponsored by dstv. What a country. Who did this to us? Who did we offend to deserve such docile followership and leadership? Boycotting South African companies and their products/services will make our voices louder. |
wingmanII:it is very obvious that u are the one that will die in ignorance and stupidity because I never said what Rochas did was right. I only suggested that you all should treat all corrupt politicians the same way but you were too myopic to understand. Idiot.a |
Before he knows what is happening, it is already fours years and there is nothing on ground to show for those four years. I am not against his recovering state's stolen assets but he should do it alongside quality leadership and governance. |
You all are funny. Some of you are complaining only because Okorocha belongs to APC. There are many south eastern governors who are either as bad as Okorocha or even worse. Nobody sees anything bad with Ikpeazu despite the level of underdevelopment in Abia state. Most of you only realise how bad these people have been immediately they decamp to a party u don't like, just like Okorocha. Most of these politicians are evil and must all be treated equally with the same level of rejection. |
That is why I hate political parties so much in Nigeria. Political parties are supposed to be a school from which u can select best leaders but it is otherwise in Nigeria. Parties are only interested in somebody's ability to win an election. The qualified ones never get the opportunity while the certificateless ones and the ones with useless "diploma in law" are the front runners. Dino is another version of yahaya belonging to different parties. Logo state should be one of the most unlucky states in Nigeria. |
Nice wisdom. You can't borrow to feed guests, most of whom won't even bring any wedding presents, and you and your wife will then spend your lives worrying about how to pay debts. This is pure wisdom. Most of us put ourselves in problems that will bring high blood pressure. Wedding is wedding irrespective of whether there is enough food and drinks or not. |
I am always tempted to call our manufacturers and farmers evil men everytime. Our farmers are unable to produce enough food for the whole country but keep pleading for the federal govt to ban food importation even when they don't produce enough. Innoson motors and others keep telling FG to ban importation of used cars even when they know they can't produce enough vehicles for Nigerians and that Nigeria doesn't have functional steel plants. Security agencies keep destroying "illegal refineries" even though the "legal refineries" are not working. Same thing also happen in other sectors. Evil men everywhere. |
They should stop this nonsense talk. Was the presidential jet also hiding? Why not wait at the airport to apprehend him knowing fully well that no matter where he "hides", the president will use the jet when leaving Japan? |
What will it cost the American govt from withdrawing military grade weapons from private individuals? It is obvious that people will find a way to bypass background checks that American politicians keep talking about no matter how diligent the checks will be. There are too many guns in the hands of Americans and non-Americans living in America. This is too good for comfort. |
Thank God for your life |
99% of these countries are synonymous with either hunger or war/insecurity. May God bless Nigeria ![]() |
seunmsg:the blame still lies with PMB. By now, there are some people I expected to have been in jail for all the evil they committed in this country but I still see them enjoying their freedom. You Forgot that an evil you had ability to kill yesterday but didn't can kill you today or tomorrow. There is absolutely no corruption fight going on. All we see is media corruption fight. |
Kingkun69:if na better avenue to japa go better place, link me ooooo. I need am too ![]() |
If the American govt is operating visa policy by reciprocating whatever visa-policy the Nigerian govt operates for Americans, does it mean that if the Nigerian govt makes it a visa-free policy for Americans travelling to Nigeria, that they will also make it visa-free for Nigerians travelling to America ![]() |
Only the poor will suffer it. The killers of Nigeria and their families are either holding dual citizenships or they always travel on govt sponsorships irrespective of how much the visa may cost. The poor keeps paying for the bad practises or policies of the Nigerian political class. |
Jeremy1234:apart from the oshiomhole versus Obaseki crisis and this UPE versus NUT, which other crisis is in Edo state? Are there any states in Nigeria that there isn't any problem? Some people on this forum like making disparaging comments about what they know nothing about instead of just reading and keeping shut. |
Dreal1247:mfm prayer point today ![]() |
America is not a place where u are either allowed to go free with your loot or given very lenient prison sentences like in Nigeria. All the proceeds of crime where ever they are will be recovered and forfieted to the govt. For those who think their families will be left to enjoy the proceeds of crime, think twice. Nothing will be left when the prosecutors are done. |
Whoever wins in any election whether APC or PDP, the saraki family and some other politically-wise families will always benefit because they have their family members distributed all round the major political parties. |
martineverest:all these smes are being taxed heavily by local and state govts. They are forced to buy one ticket or the other everyday of the week. These represent their taxes. None of these businesses belong to "big men". The poor pay the taxes. Ask bus drivers and they will cry while explaining their predicament to you. |
contigiency:obj's "perfect" method for true governance is by writing letters. Whenever he is in power, he doesn't see or hear anything. When the people complain and cry, He wipes them out like he did in Odi, bayelsa and some other places. |
Anijay1212:kill wetin? Bill cosby is an oldman who was sentenced to jail even in his oldage for crime he committed. karma has no age limit. |
subtlemee:evil is everywhere irrespective of race, ethnicity or religion. Those Africans /Nigerians that use their family members and friends for rituals, what will u say about them? |
