Assassination Attempt on Emir of Kano, Driver Feared Dead.

The emir of Kano, Ado Bayero was reportedly attacked this afternoon by some group of armed men on a motocycle. According to a friend, the emir`s car was shot severally living the driver dead instantly while the condition of the emir is quite uncertain. The emir and his driver were coming back from the mosque after prayers when they where attacked according to the report. Can someone pls, comfirm this report?
