Great speech there by Senator Rabiu.
It's a very patriotic and nationalistic decision.
How I wish Atiku was this patriotic and nationalistic in decision-making in 2023,we wouldn't have been where we are now as a nation.
Pets › Re: Chameleon Color Change After Bringing Home: Normal Or Warning Sign by Pacesetter123(m): 8:44pm On May 08
mgamelia:
When I first brought my chameleon home, I noticed the same thing. Her colors looked dull one moment, then darker or patterned the next. I’ll be honest—it worried me at first.

But here’s what I’ve learned.
Color change in chameleons is often their way of communicating, not a warning sign.

In your case, the pattern showing up when the room is quiet and she’s resting is actually pretty common. It usually means she feels safe enough to relax. I’ve seen this in underfed rescues too—once they start recovering, their color patterns become more noticeable.

That said, not all color changes are equal. Bright, calm tones during rest? That’s usually fine. But very dark colors all day, combined with lack of appetite or hiding, can point to stress or incorrect setup.

What Your Chameleon’s Colors Are Really Saying

From my experience, blue bars (especially in females or juveniles) can show mood shifts, mild alertness, or even environmental response like lighting changes. It’s not automatically a bad sign.

One small thing many people overlook is environment stability.
Even quiet rooms can still feel “new” to them.

Example: I once moved a plant inside the enclosure, and my chameleon changed color for two days straight. Nothing else changed. Just that one detail.

So here’s what I recommend:
Keep her routine stable. Avoid overhandling. Maintain proper lighting, hydration, and feeding.

If she’s eating, slowly gaining weight, and moving normally… you’re on the right track.

Honestly, this is one of those cases where doing less is often better.
What are you even explaining?
The colour changes in the chameleon is not as a result of most of the factors you are trying to attribute it to.
Like feeding, hydration, etc you are trying to talk about are not causes of changes in its colouration.

What the chameleon is doing there is called ADAPTIVE COLOURATION.
It is a mechanism for survival.
It occurs simply due to change in its habitat/environment.
When its environment changed,it will also change its colour to match that of its environment to avoid detection by predators.
That type of adaptive colouration in biological science is called CRYPTIC COLOURATION or CAMOUFLAGE .

There are also other types of ADAPTIVE COLOURATION exhibited by other animals.
They are;
Counter Shading
Disruptive colouration
Aposematic
Mimicry,etc

Family › Re: Should Fathers Be Restricted From Bathing Their Little Daughters? by Pacesetter123(m): 8:00pm On May 07
Samantha125:
My father used to bathe me as a child every once in a while and there was never anything unusual about it... He also has never had any issues with us walking around the house in just our underwears, given that we cover up when going outside or have a guest.

I mean if male nurses could bathe female patients, then I don't see anything wrong with a father bathing his female minor child... Predators don't need to bathe their female children or see their unclothedness before preying on them.
You have said it all my sister.
This issue of distrust between a father and his biological daughter, and brothers with sisters I have been hearing nowadays in the internet space is disgusting to me.
When we were young,we lived in 3 rooms in the family compound.
My father and my Mum occupied one,we the children occupied one while we used one as our parlour.
4 of us that were still leaving with our parents slept in the one room they assigned to us the children.
Two males and two females.
One of that my sisters normally live coming to sleep in our (male) own bed.
She wear light night gown and sleep.
Me,at times I don't even like wearing clothes to sleep.
We lived so innocently as siblings that we were without all this kind of dirty thoughts and hearing nowadays.
Like, how do one have feelings for his blood sister or her blood brother, not to talk of Father and her daughter?
Is that not insanity of the highest order?
Naturally and Biologically,it is impossible.
The few ones people are seeing today is not natural.
It is either the person belong to a certain dark coven,or more than 5 nuts has loose from his brain for that type of abomination to take place.
It cannot happen naturally expecially in this Africa that we have strong family bonds right from childhood.

Men should not bath their daughters. There are very many other house chores to help your wife do, focus on those ones. The childs mother will bath the child.
But the mother can bath the son, right?

Does he know the meaning of Pan Africanism?
I don't think he does, because if he does,he wouldn't have put Xenophobic Republic of South Africa in the same sentence with PAN-AFRICANISM.

Ushiesunday:
Top 10 things to know about the Bekwarra people of Cross River State.

By Ushie S. A

1. They have a unique language called Bekwarra. The word Bekwarra is both a name of a tribe, their language and a name of a local Government. Last time I checked there is nothing like Igbo or Hausa local Government. So this make the Bekwarra people unique.

2. They are descendant of Agba who is also the progenitor of Obudu and Bekwarra Agba. It is a very explicit history as they proudly refer to each others as brothers.

3. The Local government has produced a deputy senator, Commissioner of Justice, minister of Justice, House of representative members etc.

4. It has 10 political wards. Afrike 1, Afrike 2, Beten, Gakem, Ibiaragidi, Nyanya, Ugboro, Otukpuru, Ukpah and Abouchiche

5. It has annual cultural festival called the ipem ihihe (new yam) festival held every first Saturday of September.

6. It has five market days. Ugbada, uchaga, ugidi, udama and achaya.

7. It's headquarters is in Abouchiche.

8. They people are Christians majorly Catholics with other predominant churches like Living faith, Redeem, Dunamis, Assemble of God and Indigenous churches like holiness and power church, Rapture power outreach ministry etc.

9. Their major occupation is farming and some pocket of them are civil servants. They farm crops like Groundnut in Gakem, Rice in Ugboro etc.

10. The Nigeria civil war of 1967-1970 began in Bekwarra local Government. The aftermath and devastating effect of the Biafra war cannot be over emphasized.

PROUDLY BEKWARRA.
USHIE S. A
Historian
Can you tell me,apart from the Bekwara L.G.A,is Bekwara tribe found in another L.G.A.?
because I know a tribe like Ejagham, they are found in so many L.G.A.s of CRS.
Is Bekwara also found in other LGA like that or it's only that one LGA?

Wow. Lol. Such a smartass.

@bolded. I guess I need a cat in my farm - gotta deal with them rats, even squirrels. I'm just worried the cat(s) might start eating my chicks and ducklings.
Yes,it will deal with all those rodents in your farm.
But just as you said, the safety of your chicks is not guaranteed.
When it finished dealing with the rodents and they are no longer available for it to eat,it may turn to the chicks for meal.
So you have to weigh the options.

Interesting. So they catch even birds. Wow.
Yes,they can catch bird even on motion.
They are very agile and athletic.
They can catch Squirrels, bush rabbits and even big snake.
We used to have them before.
If it catches a big prey and bring it to the house and you cook it and share the meat with it,it will be bringing its catch every time to the house. But if eat the meet alone without giving to it,it will never bring the catch to the house.
It will eat it in the bush.
But one day,it did something so scary.
It killed a big black snake and dragged it to the house thinking that it is doing us a favour as it used to do with other bush animals.
Mhen, see as even my Mama run and jump something in the house shouting for help.
We pursue it to go and return it.
It did,but since then,it refuse bringing any of her kills to us again in the house.

If this is TRUE then NDC has itself to blame…….pls no one should tell me that Tinubu is to be Blamed.

Are you and Ardo more knowledgeable in party registration guidelines than INEC?

So if court gives an order, was he expecting INEC, being a creation of law itself not to obey the law?
Why has he not told us the circumstances that led to the court giving INEC the order?

The Ghanian government just recently evacuated their citizens facing similar treatment.

Besides the flights are available and it's not by force but choice to leave.

I think it's a good step!
So Ghanaians are also affected by the S/A xenophobic attacks?
So Ghanaians too don't "respect" their Host?
I thought it's only Nigerians that don't "respect" their host that is why the miscreants in S/A are killingggg them?

Somebody will see primitive and barbaric behaviors from non..en...tity South Africans, instead of condemning it,he will rather sit idle in Lagos-Ibandan express way to type non...sense and blaming the victims leaving the perpetrators.
