So watch out, anything can happen at the last minute.
Remember, we are the giants of Africa and the world cup is now our birth right whether we qualified on the field of play or not!
I no want hear that statement again!!

Sports › Re: DR Congo Beat Jamaica To Become The 47th Team Qualified For The 2026 World Cup by Pacesetter123(m): 7:12pm On Apr 01
Azazyel:
They really struggled against Jamaica. If not that SE na useless team, na we for qualify. They ain't getting out of that group sha. Colombia and Portugal would definitely fly out
Struggle against Jamaica?
For your information, they outplayed the Reggae Boys in all departments and later won them.
If it was Super Eagle, they wouldn't have been able to go pass Jamaica.
You think Nigeria would have been able to win them to qualify as Congo did?
Go and watch the last two matches between the Super Eagle and the Reggae Boys and see for yourself the real definition of "Struggling" yet without a win.

You couldn't win common and ordinary Lesotho and Zimbabwe with no world cup experience before, it's Jamaica with plenty of experiences in the world cup that you would have won? I thank God you even described the SE as u s e l e s team,so no need of saying we would have been the ones playing.
Jamaican would have beaten us.
So you should have even thank the Leopard for making Africa proud, instead of wishing it could have been us,cos we have been disgraced out of the Inter-Continental qualifiers.

There is a part in this article that got me infuriated.
It says, the government of plateau state/security have declared 48 hrs curfew aimed at preventing reprisal attack.

So, you cannot prevent the terrorists from ki..ll .ing the indigene and burning their houses but you can prevent the indigene from carrying our reprisal, right?

There's something fundamentally wrong with our system.

Hear the lazy man running after Atiku's dollar

Imagine a man who resigned from labour saying Obi is useless now in ADC with the same Obi.

Obi will probably become VP to Atiku on ballot
You mean the Minister of Transport,Saidu Alkali was in Labour Party with Obi and resigned to go join ADC?
Wonders shall never end!!
So at what point did he join Tinubu's APC to become his Minister?
Or was he appointed a Minister from Labour or ADC as Wike was appointed from PDP?

Experience has shown that GFA has made a biggest mistake of their life.
How can you sack a coach that qualifies you for a world cup just about 1 or 2 months to the mundial?
It happens to Nigeria and other countries and it always proves counter productive.

I know that Ukraine special forces almost captured Putin if not for Iran's Shahed drones and over 10,000 North Korean special military forces sent to Russia by Kim Jung Un shocked cheesy
Who is even Ukraine that you are talking about?
And you think Russia is fighting any war with Ukraine?
If Russia were to fight war with Ukraine, Ukraine wouldn't have survived a month in the war.
Ukraine is Russia and Russia is Ukraine.
They are the same people.
So Putin is not fighting any war with his brothers. That is why he called it ' Special military Operations ' and not war.

Waste of money and resources.

Russian made Military weapons that cannot protect Russia from ordinary Ukrainian Boys Scout that have been using Russian soldiers to learn how to roast suya to the extent that Putin had to run to North Korea, Syria, Yemen and African countries to hire mercenaries to help them challenge Ukraine that didn't had any formal Navy or Airforce before Russia invaded them shocked cheesy

If not for Iran's Shahed drones, Ukraine would have captured Putin in Moscow by now and you are wasting your country's scarce resources to buy Russian outdated military weapons that even Russia doesn't fully rely on except their nuclear weapon they have been using to scare away threats grin
You don't know anything about Russia weapons.

I will not take Spain/EU or NATO serious until they send weapons, cash and military personnel to Iran to defend themselves as they did for Ukraine and vote unanimously to sanction US as they did to Russia.
If they fail to do so,then they shouldn't be taken serious.
They are hypocrites.

Lifestone:
I think you should go and read the rule books. There are decisions that is outside the prerogative of the referees. Once Senegal walked out, they lost the match.
So you know the rules more than the CAF president that was there that day sanctioning the decision of the referee not awarding the cup to Morocco on the ground of technicality?
Or you know football rules more than the FIFA president that was there that day that also helped in the presentation of the medals to the Senegalese national team as the authentic winner of the tournament based on referee's decision?
Sports › Re: Defiant Senegal Display Afcon Trophy Before Beating Peru In Friendly by Pacesetter123(m): 9:01am On Mar 30
Mrexcell:
All these are unesessary they should first wait for the CAS decision before all these.
No,it is rather very necessary.
They have already said when CAS gives its verdict ordering them to return the cup that they will obey.
So, for the mean time, the cup is theirs and they have every right to enjoy it while it last.
After all, they suffered for it for full 120 minutes in the pitch.
Sports › Re: Defiant Senegal Display Afcon Trophy Before Beating Peru In Friendly by Pacesetter123(m): 8:52am On Mar 30
Lifestone:
Following the rule is part of sportsmanship!
Senegal should have played according to the rules, because the rules are part of the game, you can't separate it
The Senegalese actually exhibited sportsmanship by following the rules of the game by playing the match to the end.
Is 120 minutes football action on the pitch a joke to you?
Do you have a different personal rules for them to follow other than the ones CAF, through her referee implemented in that final match?

Walahi, I have been wondering where the Coach derived such power to single handedly take such a crucial decision on behalf of his country.
He didn't consider so many things beyond on pitch football. The impact on diplomacy and sportsmanship.
Which kind impact on diplomacy and sportsmanship are you talking about?

The man did the right thing at that moment and that action was what helped them win the cup.
The coach supposed to be given a National Honour for his bravery in the face of organized oppression.
So I don't know what you are talking about.

Our broom fight with JSS 2C that year. The punishment we later received for fighting with the brooms by our class teacher, I can never forget that beating.

6 strokes of the cane each. Now not that the strokes are the hard part, the position you'll have to take before taking each steoke makes it stand out. You will sit in reverse on a chair 🪑 you see that small space at the back, your leg will go inside, then your chest must touch the back, giving your bum a nice curve out for the teacher. Like I told someone here in the other thread on this same topic when he was trying to shift the blame on the Firetruck on the day this incident happened that the fault is that of the ATC and not the firetruck.
I am still saying it today that he was at fault.
Though it wasn't intentional. He made a mistake as human that he is but the blame is on him.
As an ATC, you can't cleared a vehicle or human beings to enter the runway and at the same time you cleared a flight to land in the same runway.
That is suicidal.
I thank God he has admitted that he made a mistake and has taken responsibility for the accident.
Though the Airport Authority too didn't try.
From the video here, preliminary investigation shows that he was the only one on duty in the control room that day.
As busy as American Airports are.
Why should it be only one person on duty as an ATC?
He will be tired and overwhelmed by the traffic.

RIP to the young Airmen

So this one that is talking now, till he finishes his 4 or maybe 8 years as a governor will not raise even one pillar in the proposed project site.

They are very tiny in physical outlook, tiny in their pockets, tiny in their way of thinking about life, tiny in emotions, and tiny in behaviours.
If a boy of her age,22 should toast her without telling her his age,she will even be the one chasing him away that it's insulting for a 'Small Boy' to approach her.

Meanwhile, most of those private schools that are architect of this don't even have fan in their classrooms not to talk of AC system.
