Nazgul: Just 2. If we defeat them 2-0, we'll both be on +5 goals. So it would come down to head to head. Which would favour us cos we lost 2-1 to them in their home and defeated them 2-0 in our home. They beat us 2:0 bro |

EMIOMOADEOYE: The only way Nigeria qualifies is if CAF applies the adjustments as a result of Eritrea's exit from the qualifiers. If that happens and Nigeria pulls a win against Benin, Nigeria automatically become leaders of Group C.
Reason been that we only picked 2 draws against Zimbabwe. South Africa won both matches against Zimbabwe so thats a possible 6 point reduction for SA and only 2 points for Nigeria.
That is IF (a very big IF) CAF applies the adjustment Why will it be 6 points deducted from S/A? Did they beat Zimbawe home and away? They just drew today. |

Nawa..ohh,the conference was held in Germany to partition Africa but Germans ended up having only two plot of land in the shared territory while their brothers,France and Britain got almost 90% of the territory. What a dull German!!!! Even the two plots of land,Cameroun and Togo were taken away from them after Hitler's war. Anyway,it serves them right,so that next time they won't call for such evil meeting again in their country. |

Ajalalomo: Britain will become another Ajegunle if we are allowed to travel there visa-free. When they came here, did they get any visa from us at the point of entry? And if they had came here and develop Ajegunle that you talked about and made it look like London, Manchester, Birmingham, etc, there wouldn't have been no need for fear of making London look like Ajegunle through the influx of Nigerians there. |

Politics › Re: Court Dismisses Suit Against Akpabio, Over Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s Suspension by Pacesetter123(m): 9:37pm On Oct 04, 2025 |
AntiChristian: The suit was filed by Ovavu Illiyasu and nine others challenging the legality of her six-month suspension.
The key reason for the dismissal was lack of locus standi. This means the court ruled that the plaintiffs (those who filed the suit) did not have the legal right or sufficient interest to bring the case before the court. In other words, the court found that the people who filed the suit were not directly affected or involved in the matter of Senator Natasha's suspension, so they could not legally challenge it.
Summary: The suit challenged Senator Natasha's suspension. The court dismissed the suit because the plaintiffs lacked locus standi. The plaintiffs were not considered to have a direct stake or sufficient interest in the case to bring it to court. I understand your explanation right from your first post that I quoted. But my question was,the 10 people that brought the matter to court, were they not from her constituency? If they were, are you saying they don't have a stake in the matter? Unless the court was able to establish that they were not from her senatorial district before I will agree with her that they were not affected by the suspension and as such, lacks the power to institute the case. But in the judgement that was delivered, the court didn't say they were not from her senatorial district. It simply say they don't have the locus standi. |

adioolayi: I don't agree with your assertions.
Anyone instituting a suit should properly do the very right thing.
Someone that doesn't have locus in matter wey no concern them, should not take the matter to court. It's a waste of judicial time. But this once are the direct people of the affected constituency? |
Politics › Re: Court Dismisses Suit Against Akpabio, Over Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s Suspension by Pacesetter123(m): 8:46am On Oct 04, 2025 |
AntiChristian: People are to quick to write their biases and blame just any arm of the government!
What does "Locus standi" mean?
Imagine you are playing in a playground. There is a big slide, and only the kids who are actually playing in the playground can tell the teacher if something is wrong with the slide, like if it’s broken or too slippery.
Now, locus standi is like a special rule that says: Only the kids who are playing on the slide or in the playground can ask the teacher to fix it.
If a kid is just walking by and not playing there, they can’t tell the teacher to fix the slide because it’s not their playground game.
Why is this important? Because the teacher wants to listen to the kids who really use the slide and are affected by it, not just anyone who sees it from far away.
So, locus standi means: You have to be someone who is involved or affected to ask for help or to complain about something. So you mean the people of Kogi Central were not affected by the suspension of their representative in the Senate and as such lack the locus standi to institute the case? Is that what you mean? |

Politics › Re: Buhari Never Negotiated For Boko Haram – Garba Shehu Replies Jonathan by Pacesetter123(m): 8:14am On Oct 04, 2025 |
IJAYA001: Yes it is true they mentioned Buhari name as their negotiator but Buhari never negotiate for them once.
We easily forget history in Nigeria. It is you who easily forget history in Nigeria. Who said Buhari negotiated for Boko Haram? GEJ said, Buhari was once NOMINATED to negotiate for Boko Haram with FG during his time as a president. Shehu Garba also said the same thing. That Abdulaziss, one of the leaders of Boko Haram NOMINATED Buhari to represent them in the negotiation table with the then FG. Even the person you quoted also said the same thing. So,who said he negotiated for them among all those people? Or is it that your level of education is not up to the point where you can differentiate between NOMINATED TO NEGOTIATE and NEGOTIATED? Or you just wanted to willfully bend the narrative to confuse the undecerning members of the public? |

All hands must be on desks, aggressive players should be allow to play these two games. The likes of iwobi and Ndidi should be benched because they are not super eagles material.
Best of luck to our dear super eagles team You are winning the both games to go to where? Mind you, South Africa is equally winning their both games too to top the table. So what's the need of us winning the both games? |
