How can you compare states/regions during the era of TRUE FEDERALISM with this era of republicanism were power is not devolutionized?
Are you aware that as at the time you are talking about,regions were controlling their resources and paying only about 30% to the FG while retaining 70%?
So how will they not pay salary that is higher than FG?
During the 1st Republic you are talking about,the cocoa in the West belonged to the West,groundnuts in the North belonged to the North, and palm oil and timber in the East belonged to the East.
But now,the oil in the Niger Delta belongs to the FG and NOT to the Niger Deltans.
So ,the FG has no moral rights to pay anything less than the states in terms of minimum wage.
The FG should be ashamed of herself for having seen states like Edo under Obaseki paying 75k and Borno under Prof Zulum paying 70k already and still went ahead to peg the minimum wage below Obaseki's 75k.

My advice to them is that they should stop attaching a crime to a particular tribe expecially in abroad cos your tribe is not also a saint.
Condemn the criminal and his/her criminal acts and stop generalizing it to cover everybody in their tribe.
