Hello mate, tax as a source of revenue can not be underestimated, but leveraging on tax ahead of the ever present crude oil to me is a misplacement of priority. Revenue from 1.8 billion bpd can conveniently sustain Nigeria even with a population of over 300m, especially at a bullish time as now if transparently accounted for. The amount going to subsidy alone can go a long way.
