Wars are fought with the intentions of subduing enemies, An invading army initiating the offensive must be prepared for the unknown, attacking a people fighting under familiar terrain and weather in their home land could be so bloody and deadly. In both ancient and recent times we have seen how soldiers were subjected to brutal conditions of the terrain while facing bitter resistance from the defending nations. Below are some of the worst terrain to ever fight a battle.

1. Mountainous terrain, fighting on mountains is a very dangerous task as a soldier stand the chance of loosing his brace and falling off even before being engaging an enemy, the soviets were made to pay heavily when they invaded Afghanistan, the Mujahedeens fought from mountains and tunnel which the soviets have poor knowledge of.

2 Desert warefare. Soldiers face exhaustion from dehydration as a result of the intens heat of the desert, dieing of taste is another possibility which needs to be taken into serious concideration when fighting wars in deserts, Italian troops suffered heavily in the Sahara desert during the second world war.

3. Swamp. Fighting on swamps and other wetlands could lead to fatalities, as it was reported of how Japanese soldiers suffered heavy causuaties in 1945 in a Burmese swamp infested by crocodiles.

4. Winter. The Germans and the French would never be in a hurry to forget what happened to their troops in Russia, it was wildly regarded that the Russian winter helped in the defeat of the German army during the second world war.

There is a solution to that to win those wars.
1. Mountainous war
Recruit soldiers from Nepal. People there are famous for being resilient and skillful during mountanous wars.
I heard many people from Nepal are members of the British elite commandos.

2. Desert war
Recruit soldiers from Chad, Morocco and Algeria.Thry are well-known for being excellent soldiers in the desert. They can fight a desert war for days without a break.

3. Swamp
Hire soldiers from Vietnam .Vietnamese are used to fighting swamp wars
If Vietnam is far, then hire people from Everglades wetlands in Florida, USA..

4.Winter warfare
You know who to hire.
Either Russian troops or Canadian troops from Montreal and Yellowknife.They are used to harsh winters.

The analysis of the histories of the almost 200 countries in the world found only 22 which have never experienced an invasion by the British.
