KAMPALA, Jan 28 (Reuters) - Uganda has distanced itself from an opinion written by a Ugandan judge on the International Court of Justice (ICJ) dissenting from the panel's ruling in South Africa's genocide case against Israel, and said the remarks do not reflect Uganda's position.
Julia Sebutinde was the only judge on the 17-member ICJ panel to vote against all six measures adopted by the court in a ruling ordering Israel to take action to prevent acts of genocide as it fights Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip.

"The position taken by Judge Sebutinde is her own individual and independent opinion, and does not in any way reflect the position of the government of the republic of Uganda," the government said in a statement issued late on Saturday.
It added that the east African country supported the position of the Non-Aligned Movement on the conflict that was adopted at its summit in the Ugandan capital this month.

That NAM position contained in a document issued at the end of the summit condemned Israel's military campaign and killing of civilians and also called for an immediate ceasefire and unimpeded humanitarian access.
The movement was formed officially in 1961 by countries opposed to joining either of the two major Cold War-era military and political blocs. Many of the countries were newly independent from their colonial rulers.

Tell the Palestinians to co-operate with the IDF and remove Hamas once and for all.

2. That a country has a high GDP does not mean her citizens are not suffering. A country can be wealthy yet her citizens languishing in poverty. Nigeria is wealthy but the wealth is not distributed - it's concentrated among few.
Also, I believe that Nigerian leaders did far more worse to her citizens than what the 'colonial' powers did.
Those 'colonial' powers left us with great and wonderful structures that could have made our lives better. But we mismanaged them.
For instance, UCH was one of the top 10 hospitals in the world! In fact, foreign students come to study in this teaching hospital.
Now, where is UCH today?
Banditry, kidnapping, terrorism etc. aren't rampant during then, now see what's happening.
Just sit down and ask yourself this question: Can we really say that Nigerian indeed became better after the 'colonial powers' left?

When it comes to Palestine, Muslims should keep shut! They have no moral grounds to stand on! Cos they took that land with the same violence the are crying about today.

And if they are powerful enough they will not think twice before exerting sake violence on every part of the world.

I don't think that you are a Christian, because you are calling THOSE crusaders Christians.
If you know who a Christian is, you will know that a Christian doesn't kill and not allowed to kill anyone for whatever reason, the disciples were CALLED Christians because they were Christlike, any one doing what Jesus commanded against is not a Christian, you are either a Christian or you are not, no middle ways.
I don't think much about man made saints like the one you mentioned though I wouldn't know your definition of a Saint, but that someone claims they are Christians doesn't make them Christians or what anyone think about anyone doesn't make them that
