Crime › Re: EFCC Arrests 33 Suspected Internet Fraudsters, Recover Fake Dollars In PH by panpan(m): 7:10am On Oct 03, 2024
It is obvious that the main reason that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was created is to arrest "yahoo boys" to please the United States government.

“The remaining three legacy projects are the 477-kilometer Calabar-Abuja project, the 489-kilometer Abuja-Akwanga project, which travels through Jos and Bauchi, and the 2,800-kilometer Sokoto-Badagry project, which is located by the Lagos-Abidjan highway.”
The road distance from Sokoto to Badagry is approximately 1,100 kilometers.
The "2,800-kilometer" Sokoto-Badagry project does not appear to be straightforward.
Education › Re: FG To Launch New School Curriculum Next Month by panpan(m): 1:23pm On Sep 25, 2024
Is the new curriculum backed by law?
Releasing a new curriculum when the school session has already started is not a good decision.
Politics › Re: Five Policemen Returning From Edo Election Die In Road Crash, Others Injured by panpan(m): 7:19am On Sep 25, 2024
Why did the police officers have to travel from Zaria or Kano to Edo State for the governorship election?
Were they sent to Edo State on official duty, or did they go there to vote?
If they were sent on official duty, were there not enough police officers in Edo State for the purposes of the election?
Politics › Re: Tinubu Declines Assent To Bill Seeking To Extend Federal, State Lawmakers’ Tenur by panpan(m): 9:57pm On Sep 24, 2024

From the report, it appears as if the girl's mother did not know what was going on.
Or perhaps the girl's mother informed Ngozi of the situation, who then reported the matter to the police.
Agriculture › Re: My Little Plantain And Banana Farming by panpan(m): 5:38pm On Sep 21, 2024
Is there any way to tell the difference between a plantain tree and a banana tree before the fruit appears?
Politics › Re: World Bank Set To Approve $1.5 Billion Loan To Nigeria by panpan(m): 7:40am On Sep 20, 2024
These external loans should stop. angry
It appears as if there are a few people in the federal government and the lending institution who get commissions from these loans.
Whenever the federal government takes external loans, they indirectly take money from the general Nigerian population through naira devaluation, increase in the price of petroleum products, and general inflation.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Starvation In War-hit Sudan 'almost Everywhere' - WHO by panpan(m): 8:38pm On Sep 17, 2024
The World Health Organization (WHO) cannot be trusted.
And speaking of Sudan, it is sad that the concerned parties have allowed themselves to be used by foreign nations and international groups to destabilize their country.
Politics › Re: "My Relationship With Wike Has No Influence On The Election" - Edo REC, Onuoha by panpan(m): 7:31am On Sep 17, 2024
Is Dr Onuoha a member of a political party?
appini:
Yes
If Dr Onuoha is a member of a political party, then he should not be a resident electoral commissioner (REC). This issue should have been addressed long before now.
If there are concerns about Dr Onuoha's relationship with a federal minister or former governor, but no concerns about his membership of a political party, then the matter is somehow.
Politics › Re: "My Relationship With Wike Has No Influence On The Election" - Edo REC, Onuoha by panpan(m): 10:21pm On Sep 16, 2024

Travel › Re: UAE Visa Only Available To Nigerians From 45 Years With N16 Million Monthly by panpan(m): 3:01pm On Sep 11, 2024
If a foreign country snubs your fellow citizens, you may snub them back.
Avoid going to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for tourism only.
A business trip to the UAE should be considered only if absolutely necessary, and is going to be profitable for you.

Politics › Re: Governors Sanwo-Olu, Abdulrazaq, Wale Edun Attends China-Africa Summit (pics) by panpan(m): 11:41am On Sep 02, 2024

Politics › Re: President Bola Tinubu Arrives Beijing, China For His Official Visit by panpan(m): 4:05pm On Sep 01, 2024
This is not an exclusive visit by President Bola Tinubu to Beijing, China.
President Tinubu's visit to China is along with leaders of other African countries for the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) summit.
In other words, this is just another non-African country - Africa summit that leaders of African countries appear to be compelled to attend. Or will there be "consequences" if any of them do not attend?

The will will most probably be contested by the wife or children in court.
Crime › Re: EFCC Arrests Hyginus Nkwocha Over Internet Fraud, Money Laundering by panpan(m): 9:00am On Aug 23, 2024
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) should focus on allegations of illicit financial outflow from Nigeria, or corruption cases involving federal finances.
Arresting "yahoo boys" or people involved in spraying of naira notes does not justify EFCC's existence.

Ajayi explained that “The amount, which is the second tranche under the COVID-19 livelihoods support scheme under the NG-CARES Programme funded by the World Bank, is N570 billion.

“The fact is states are getting needed support and funding to improve the lives of the people.

“The World Bank facility is guaranteed by the Federal Government because every multilateral loan must have a sovereign guarantee.
The World Bank does not "fund". The World Bank gives loans.
These external loans should stop.
When the federal government takes external loans, they indirectly take money from the general Nigerian population through naira devaluation, increase in the price of petroleum products, and general inflation.
Christianity Etc › Re: Donald Trump The Jesus Of America Is Not Coming Back by panpan(m):
Donald Trump never said that he is "Jesus of America".
It is rumoured that the plan is that neither Donald nor Kamala should get the presidential seat.
Kamala is a placeholder. There is a plan to replace her with Michael.
If Donald comes back, it may be through undemocratic means, which may lead to another assassination attempt. The insurrection of January 2021 and the assassination attempt of July 2024 were probably test runs.
