Biafra group applies for UN observer status

The Biafra Zionist Movement has applied to the United Nations for it to be granted an observer status.

The group submitted its application to the United Nations Security Council on August 6, 2012.

The President of the group, Benjamin Onwuka, confirmed the development on Monday in Enugu.
