Is my turn to testify to HIS glory,I always said that faith put god to work and faith works wonders,we got to the embassy very early before 6am we meet a lot people there,and we join them few min later the seccurity checking started and we ware move to interview hall,we gt to the hall exatly 7am but we met CO1-12 on seat atending to non immigrant there's a lot off denied there so by 8am CO 13 open his window for immigrate intervview,few min after 14 and 15 open and CO 13 caled some. For there his interview really my mind is not with him because I observ that CO 15 is holding our document and I told my wife that that the CO 15 we call us soon,so the CO check and check for almost 10 min before our number apear on his creen and he called us to his window so I was there before my wife.

On getting there, I paid $1,320 for 4pple at window 22 and submit all my original docs and photocopy for window 19 with Int passport. I was in the front row looking at the 3cos. It was only the CO in window 14 (Young boy) that was nice, d CO in window 13 is too harsh and heartless, just they ask unnecessary question. Cos I was tired and hungry, I prayed for God's favour to have a stress-free experience. To be candid, favour beckon at exactly 12:32, the guy at window 14 called me and my family. This is my experience:

daddykelly: yea am relaxed now,my oga @ the top(God) has done it..i moved yesterday evening from okota to onikan in order not to miss the interview...i passed through hell because the guy i was directed to don't even have a wrapper not to talk of carpet or mattrass to sleep on,while i dey sleep 4 under air condition 4 my uncle house @ okota....i have to borrow wrapper from his neigbour because there is no way i can go back to okota @ that time,so i endured.

Later called to submit my documents @ window 17.
After 5 interviews i was called to window 14(a cute white guy),he dint even tell me i just put my hanh there take finger print,the interview went thus:

u will be attended to at d port of entry and will be asked to sign and give address of where u want ur greencard to be mail. u dont need anytin again cos they will mail it to u after few weeks

I shocked and started remembering all the informations and advise I tapped from my E-family. Immdiately one female CO open window 16 and called B402. I'm crazy, becos she was tough. I hope in God for the best. B402 interview last for 30 mins. Guess what? My number beeped at window 14 a looking handsome man.

Tickets from Nigeria are quite expensive, because i wouldn't spend half of that from here, but oh well.. Please is there anyway i can get it cheaper? Because right now the cost of tickets alone is almost ($10,000) ..

Interview appointment was 10am today and it was successful; After going through all security checks and making necessary payments, we were called at window 20 to submit only 1 passport photograph, 1 photocopy and original of only birth certificates for 5 of us and marriage certificate. The guy at window 20 never even demanded for our academic credentials, and we wondered why?
We waited until our ticket number beeped!

US: We remained standing with the kids for the interview. I was not asked to go and sit down with the kids

INTERVIEW PROPER

CO: Do you have any document for this
My wife: She presents Original and 1 photocopy
CO: Do you have WAEC?
My wife: Yes, and presents her Original WAEC and 1 photocopy
CO: Everything is good, pulls out white paper and hands over to us!

Note: We had 2 birth certificates; the NPC, and the normal birth certificate for myself and my wife. The man at windows 20 looked at both, but choose the NPC. He remarked : your NPC certificate is a certified one (authenticated), and I said yes.
We prepared so hard; asked ourselves questions and even carried 2 big albums for courtship, introduction and wedding, but CO never asked us to present any album and only asked us 2 questions during the interview proper as highlighted above. We can clearly see God's favor and hands in our interview.
GENERAL ADVICE TO ALL: Please, let's not forget our God when we get to the U.S. When things are rosy, let's learn to hold on to God at such times more than when we encounter problems.

Rolling_138: Apologies for the late post, I didn’t take my laptop along to Lagos and just returned to my base.
We had our interview on Thursday 21 March and God granted us success. We got to the embassy around 6:20am and we didn’t wait for long when a man came out and asked us to cue for 6:30 non-immigrant and 7:00 Immigrant visa interview appointments. Got through all the rigorous security checks and finally entered the interview hall, paid the visa fees for our family of three, and submitted our documents at window 16. It didn’t take so long when the CO’s started showing up and the interview started. We were the second to be interviewed by the CO at window 15. He spent up to 25 minutes looking through our documents before our number flashed on the display for us to approach the counter.
My wife is the principal applicant and the interview went as follows;

CO: Asks us to raise our right hand and does the oath thing; Do you swear to say the truth today and nothing but the truth

CO: Takes our fingerprints and asks me to go sit down with our baby while he chats with my wife

Me: I called my wife and she came to stand with me at the window carrying our baby.
CO: I am satisfied. I will give you a visa today. He picks the two sheets of paper he had hidden under the counter and circles an address for us to pick up the visa on one, then started explaining the proxy pick up process and the $165 payment on the other sheet of paper.
We: Thank you very much, God Bless you and God Bless America. We hurriedly packed our things and left before he remembers more questions to ask us.

The husband must follow her to d embassy on dat day wt other beneficiaries but they should sure they collect a letter from the doctor addressing the reason why his medical is not ready . Its the letter u'll present to the CO when asked. Wish them also the best

ogbonlowob: Hello my people in d house, My sister is d principal applicant n winner of dv 2013 visa lottery. Her husband is d beneficiary. Pls. Their interview is next week Tuesday, but my sister has received her medical certificate, while the husband has not. The husband was told to come for a repeat blood test on Monday. The result came out yesterday n he was told result is positive for syphilis n that he needs to commence treatment of 3 injections( 1 yesterday, 1 next Tue, n 1 upper Tues). He has commenced treatment n was told his medical certificate wld b ready n given to him on the last day of the injection. Now, can my sister go alone for her interview next Tuesday or should she go with her husband without his medicals. The husband is not the principal applicant. Or is it automatic rescheduling; pls gurus respond quick quick: gentiger, temmy, adesoji, junkerhill, spoondar, ifeanyiabdul, neroxp, ogba1, God help me etc.

Got to the embassy at 6:20am and soon we were called for 7am appointment. We joined the queue and followed protocols till we got in, was give B419 tag. Paid my visa fee in dollars ($400 & was given my $70 change). Sat and waited for my number to be called so i gave my documents (one set of original and photocopy). Sat down again to await my number for the interview proper.

Where i sat, i watched as others were interviewed & about 4 people were denied & 1 on A.P... Before i left. Only two COs interviewed today @ windows 14 & 15, they were so nice and lovely. My number beeped on the screen by 12:30pm, & i stepped forward to the CO @ window 14...he is a young white chap. The interview went like this:

Me: Am fine & you?

It is borne out of a very personal reason which i would appreciate much if respected.
Although i have not posted here for a while even before the interview not to mention asking for prayer while going for interview as some insinuated after i decided to delay the testimony but i want to state clearly here that your prayers did not pass us unclaimed. This testimony is the result of your prayers and mercy of THE HOLY ONE above that answers prayers.

I have been playing the lottery since 1995 as single and since 2002 as married.
I played two entries as husband and wife but my wife won.

We got to the embassy with loads of documents and family album that filled a huge traveling bag.
After going through the queue procedure, my family (wife and 3 kids) went in while i was sent back to return the bag all the way to the car and bring only the documents. As stressful as this was,i had to take all the photo albums and documents in my arms. I did this with much sweat but still kept my much needed cool.Even though my wife was worried inside but she trusted that the Holy Spirit was in control.

After all these, we paid and submitted our document at window 15.

NOTE:
A black guy attended to us in window 15 for document collection.
He collected only a copy each of our documents and 2 copies of our passport photographs.
We submitted ALL documents relating to my wife's academic years in the university. I mean ALL we could lay our hands upon. Including registration forms for admission and for various purposes from year one to even her NYSC.
This to our plan was for at least the collecting man to see evidence that she actually went through the university and possibly pass some to the interviewer since that is a key reason for the interview in the first place.
IT WORKED.
The black man looked at ALL of them and made verbal commendable remark on them to my wife before returning them.
He studied us so much including the children that we even thought he was the one to interview us.
Pls do not overlook these document collectors. I believe they are meant to study us and report to the real interviewers.He must have made some positive comments about us to the man he handed our document to and who eventually interviewed us on same window 15.

The much dreaded woman on window 16 did not show up. Window 16 was closed. Thanks for the power of prayers.

The document collector left, closed the window.
After a while , a white man opened the same window and spent like 15 minutes going through our document before calling us.

We got to embassy around 5am, so we waited for some time then 6.30am we join immigrant line and observed all security checks , paid our visa fees 990 dollars and waited for our number to be called.after some times they call us for submission of document at window 20. During the submission of the document my wife was called to fill DS230 for my daughter and i so we were later call to window 14 the handsome white American guy. Godhelpmeooo: I dont know where to start from cos everything is stil like dream to me,but thank God its not a dream its real,lol,we left home by 4;35 am in the morning and we we got to the embassy around 5;40 am,we joined the que,later after some minute of standing on the line,we imigrant were told to be seperated from non imigrant line .i never knew that we should not go in with any liquid thing,my wife took along one juice for my baby but she was told to go and drop it but they granted me acceess,when my wify was coming back to join me,i was at the back of the line sundenly one secuirity man just taped her from the back that she should stay at the front and she should cal me to stay with her(first favour)After all secuirity check,we finally got to the hall and we pay our visa fees and we were told to sit down as usual,after like 7 minutes ,my number was caled at window 20 to submit my documents.so after that the waiting started,it was one guy at window 13 that first started interviewing people and he granted almost everybody.after like 50 mins one "orobo" came to window 14 and he started interviewing people,but dis guy at window 14 like wahala,less i forget my son never allowed me and my wife to rest for a minute to the extent that we were focus by everybody(lol)later our number was caled at window 13 and our interview goes like dis
