Once one propaganda has been shot down another one resurfaces,, what a shame till now GEJ n his people have not convinced me why we should vote for them rather they feel character assassination is the best approach. No sentiments people I don't see how buhari can Islamatise naija , ban d press, or take major decisions without d senate or house of rep except they agree. Obj wanted third term and he failed because both houses refused him that's d beauty of democracy. Jonathan has taken us backwards most GEJ supports will regret if he wins cos even as oil prices has gone down govt it still claiming they are still subsidising d product which means he will remove subsidy once he wins and u know what next.
Change or revolution is what we need and since election is close by let's use our pvc to do the talking since all dis propaganda bizness is a waste of time.

As unsure as most of us are about the salary, one tin I can say is dat d salary on our leta reflects only basic. Pls go tru d writeup below

A circular released by the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission (NSIWC) for the implementation of the new national minimum wage shows that school leavers who enter the Service on Grade Level (GL) 04 Step (S) 1 will receive an annual salary of N242,994 while officers at the peak of the Public Service on GL 17 – S1 will receive N4,183,600 annually.
A 12-month breakdown of the above shows that the school leaver will receive N20,249 while the director will receive N348,633.
A diploma certificate holder who enters the Service on GL 07 – S 01 will receive an annual salary of N517,965 which translates to N43,163.75.
A graduate that enters the Service on GL 08 S 1 will receive an annual salary of N666,184 which translates to a monthly salary of N55,515.3 a month.
However the table which did not carry details of emoluments of permanent secretaries and heads of parastatals shows officers from GL 12 – 14 will terminate on Step 11 while those on GL 15 – 17 will terminate on Step 9.
A further breakdown of the table shows that the least paid cadre, GL 01 S 1 will receive an annual salary of N226,800 which translates to N18,900 monthly.
For the school leaver on GL 04 who manages to get to S 15, the annual salary will be N363,794 which translates monthly to N30,316,167 while the diploma certificate holder who is on GL 07 - S15 will receive an annual salary of N780,501 which translates to a monthly pay of N65,041.75.
A graduate on GL 08 – S15 will receive an annual salary of N978,663 which when divided by 12 gives N81,555.25 while a director on GL 17 – S9 will receive an annual pay of N5,452,136 which translates to a monthly income of N454,344.67.
A breakdown of the cadres in between the ones mentioned above shows that officers on GL02 – S1 will receive an annual salary of N230,128 and receive N311,935 at same GL on S15.
GL 03 – S1 officers will receive an annual salary of N232,970, to collect N333,522 on attaining S15 while officers on GL05 – S1 will receive an annual salary of N261,298 and on attaining S15 will receive N401,637.
Officers on GL06 – S1 will receive an annual salary of N316,229 and on attaining S15 will receive N487,295 while their counterparts on GL09 – S1 will receive N780,656 and on attaining S15 will receive N1,152,698.
Those on GL10 – S1 will receive an annual salary of N914,511 and on reaching S15 will receive N1,323,635 while those on GL 12 – S1 will receive N1,053,208 to receive N1,506,493 on terminating at S11 where they stop, unlike their subordinates who reach S15.
Officers on GL 13 – S1 will receive an annual salary of N1,174,233 to receive N1,653,453 on attaining S11 while GL14 – S1 officers will receive an annual salary of N1,295,818 and on attaining S11 will receive N1,811,724.
On their part, officers on GL 15 – S1 will receive an annual salary of N1,778,616 and on terminating at S9 will receive N2,363,140 while their colleagues on GL 16 – S1 will receive an annual salary of N2,197,677 and also on terminating at S9 will receive N5,452,136.
According to the Chairman of the NSIWC Chief Richard Egbule, the table which was approved by President Goodluck Jonathan, will come into effect from the date the President signed the new minimum wage of N18,000 last March.
Introducing the table, he said the “President of the Federal Republic has approved the adjustment of the Consolidated Public Service Salary Structure (CONPSS), with effect from 23rd March 2011.”
However, allowances were not captured in the table and also officers hardly get to Step 15 before they are promoted to the next GL[/quote]

I cant advice u to relocate or not to relocate to naija cos its ur choice. What I can say if u want to is,

1) have a plan before coming, a location u will like to stay and what u want to do. Pls don't come in an think tins will just fall into place for u ( naija no easy ) so I will advice u secure a job first before coming except u already know wat u want to do.

2) Abuja is ok when talking abt roads and traffic but accommodation is really expensive.

3) Police harassment is almost zero percent in Abuja cos they do not know how connected d person is

4) Political corruption is at d highest level now as far as I know
CareerRe: Ill Treatment Of Staff At Huawei Technologies by papushki(m): 12:04pm On Dec 07, 2013
Reference: I just don't get it. You work 48 hours a week. That is paltry. No wonder the networks are so bad. And I spend my weekends working and most public (government) holidays. Pally stop complaining. If you want to work less join the civil service but if you want more work start your own business and be the boss you dislike so much, even 24 hours a day, seven days a week won't be enough. This is a depressed economy, we don't make anything in this country. Why won't wages be low and hours long.
Pls be informed dat dis same issue resulted to protests and riots in 2 african countries that one of dis telecom in naija operates in as well.
If u are dat enlightened and I hope u are u will notice recently riots around d world due to inhumane working conditions melted to workers. So its a global tin which needs to be looked into by our govt.
In Ghana , Airtel could not employ staffs on contract basis cos d govt refused why can't our govt protect its workforce.

Work smart not hard maybe u would not spend all ur weekends and holidays working
CareerRe: Ill Treatment Of Staff At Huawei Technologies by papushki(m): 10:30am On Dec 07, 2013
articulate2013: Hello House,

I just got this mail that has been circulating within quarters at Huawei Technologies.
Kindly read through and express your view.

Thanks

Subject: ILL TREATMENT OF HUAWEI OUTSOURCED STAFF

Dear Sirs,
This is to bring to your notice the terrible attitude of Huawei
Technologies Company management in Nigeria towards their staff, especially
on the Airtel Managed Service.
There is a limit to which every human being can be pushed before he
pushes back. We have been pushed to that point and now we will push back
hard, so hard that it will result to a diplomatic issue.
We will list some of our reasons for vexing and hope the well meaning
people, that are still uncontaminated within the management level will take
this up.
Why should Huawei give an FME forty sites to maintain? This sites include
Airtel, Etisalat, MTN and Visafone. How do they expect the FME to be
efficient? We are also certain that the Customers are not aware about this.
This engineers work round the clock, without any form of incentive, risking
their lives even at night for a company that shows no sympathy. Many have
died on duty without any form of compensation. Today we say enough is
enough!
Early this year, the FMEs were FORCED to buy smart phones from Huawei
Technologies (a company we supposedly work for) through the (Huawei owned)
outsourced companies namely Rutotech, Lighting Networks and Qualiserve.
The cost of these phones were deducted from our salaries. Which kind of
company does that?
The worst of the victims are the Airtel NOC staff. The working conditions
are so poor that a seven months old baby was forced out of her mother's
womb prematurely (Her name is Fortune Longjohn). We work for forty eight
hours (48hrs) a week which is against Nigerian Labor Law, yet we do not get
any shift allowance. Like Mr Sunil Gupta (an indian) has boasted in the
past that the Nigerian Labour is on Huawei's payroll. Soon, we will find
out how true it is.
Some of the staff have worked for almost 3years and earn less than those
who have worked for just few months. The salary you earn in the NOC is
based on the "connection" you have. Imagine someone earns N100,000, while
another earns N300,000 doing the same job - Injustice!
One of the worst management "racist" decision is replacing Mr. Francis
Agbodike (a seasoned profession with vast international experience) with
the likes of R.S Tomar and Anicho Ogbonnaya. These two men, Tomar and
Anicho are far from being professionals, they take on personal vendetta on
staff, they know little or nothing about the job. It was only Agbodike that
brought Airtel Network outage to a single digit count. But because he is
outspoken against the injustice in the NOC, he was booted out.
Mr Tomar has once said that even if we do not want to work, there is a long
queue of people willing to take our jobs for a smaller salary. This
statement is highly demoralizing for people who give their lives to the
network. We work on a 48hr shift per week, public holidays and weekends
still yet we are not appreciated.

We are therefore calling on Airtel Nigeria Management to look into the
matter. We are not happy and will not want to seek the option of sabotaging
the network. We can and will choose that course of protest if this ill
treatment continues.

Also We are calling on the Huwei Management in China, The CEO Guo Ping, The
Founder Ren Zhengfei and Chairwoman - board of directors Sun Yafang. Please
call to order your staff in Nigeria.

We are also calling to the Chinese High Commission in Nigeria to use your
good office to bring sanity into this injustice.

We are also calling on the Nigeria Labour Congress, you have been accused
of gross corruption, this is the time to salvage yourself and rescue your
people from modern slavery in Huawei Technologies.

Finally We call on Mr Tony Ojobo, Director Public Affairs of the NCC and
Dr. Eugene Juwah the Executive Vice Chairman of the NCC. Huawei
Technologies should be investigated and then properly regulated.

We do not believe in violence, but if this issues are not addressed soon,
we might have to bring down the network. AND THIS IS NOT AN EMPTY THREAT.
Thank You.

Dignity Of Labour In Nigeria
Its a sad development n a sadder one as individuals or establishment u ve mentioned would not come to your rescue.
As a former staff of a telecom dat has had numerous owners, it is no surprise to know wat u re going tru. If u can recall back in 2012 october over 1000 staffs voluntarily resigned their employment cos they could no more take d conditions of service and d treatment melted to them so the opted to take d little compensation. Am afraid d situation will present itself soon to u guys, my advice is start looking and praying for sometin else cos they will neva improve as they know that there are so many pple looking for jobs who are willing to collect far less than wat u take.
I resigned n left my faith in God's hand n am blessed as I just got a beta and promising job afta 11 months at home searching.
My advice is do wat is fine by u but put ur worries in d Lord's hand as he will definitely not lead u astray.

Good luck and God bless as we seriously need it to survive in dis country

Fulaman198: So are you saying that Christians only believe half their book? Is the old testament not a part of the bible? I think you are just upset that you were caught with your books open.
Fulaman pls let's get one tin the difference btw islam and Christianity and Jew and christianity is the New testament which is d coming of Jesus Christ.
if you want to have any discussion abt christianity and u quote from d old testament u ve defeated ursef before even beginning.
Not a single quote from the new testament did our Lord Jesus christ every condoned violence even when he was abt to be captured for prosecution. All tru love was preached not violence
IslamRe: Is Islam The Most Discriminated Religion In The World? by papushki(m): 8:23am On Nov 30, 2013
Fulaman198: This is the kind of thing I am talking about people saying that Islam is violent (using a select group of people to judge almost 2 billion people). Should people say the same about Mexican drug cartels (aren't most Mexican people Catholic/Christian?) What about all the shootings that happen in the inner cities of America (America has a large Christian population), heck a lot of places in the Americas are like this. It's not the religion.
When a group or sect quotes part of their holy book to perpetrate evil and destruction unfortunately d religion would be termed violent. The above examples u mentioned don't quote or say they are fighting a holy war where infidels are to be destroyed. There is violence all over d world but a situation where certain groups terrorise d populace cos they claim there are trying to impose their religious believe tru violence and fear, Now d question is what do u expect pple to say abt dat religion.

Nofin surprises me anymore in dis country, loads of naija pple all over d world get arrested and they don't intervene but when our Boss Asari gets arrested, FG send msg given benin pple sharp sharp dem release d guy ( d guy get diplomatic immunity ? ) and MEND wan unleash dragon on a country becos na dem get weapon pass. For now ur major issue is accommodation, its expensive depending on ur choice of location. Would be great if u own a car as it will be of great adv to u , I don't feel food is expensive but u hardly get to see local joints like mama put we see in lagos n for young guys we need it.

Any which way I wish u d best, its a beautiful town with far less holdup and I love it but d accommodation and sch fees if u have kids is wat afta all dis yrs still can't get over it ( too expensive ).

Christianity EtcRe: Christians Would You Kill For Your God? by papushki(m): 9:45am On Nov 11, 2013
Mr Aboki: Coin it how you like...

Justifiable or not, God ordered the Isrealites to Kill.. #Period.

In some cases, God emphasized that the killing must include Man, Women & Children.

You need examples;

1. “Only in the cities of these peoples that the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, you shall not leave alive anything that breathes. But you shall utterly destroy them: the Hittite and the Amorite, the Canaanite and the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite, as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that they may not teach you to do according to all their detestable things which they have done for their gods, so that you would sin against the Lord your God”(Deuteronomy 20:16–18, NASB).

Remember that this was their land. God promised the Isrealites a Land that belonged to others as their promised Land and instructed them to kill off every living thing in these lands and take it.. #If you call it justifiable killing, then I say Clap for yourself.. You can say that because you are not on the side that is being justifiably killed.

2. Ezekiel 9:5-7 King James Version (KJV)

5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:

6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

7 And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.

3. "You are my battle-ax and sword," says the LORD. "With you I will shatter nations and destroy many kingdoms. With you I will shatter armies, destroying the horse and rider, the chariot and charioteer. With you I will shatter men and women, old people and children, young men and maidens. With you I will shatter shepherds and flocks, farmers and oxen, captains and rulers. "As you watch, I will repay Babylon and the people of Babylonia for all the wrong they have done to my people in Jerusalem," says the LORD. "Look, O mighty mountain, destroyer of the earth! I am your enemy," says the LORD. "I will raise my fist against you, to roll you down from the heights. When I am finished, you will be nothing but a heap of rubble. You will be desolate forever. Even your stones will never again be used for building. You will be completely wiped out," says the LORD. (Jeremiah 51:20-26)

Funny enough, Babylon whooped them in this battle..

Are you convinced now or should I keep going..

Allahu Akbar!
U keep quoting from d old testament .. Dive into d New testament and bring out examples
