It's not a good idea to mail it to their addresses, some of them might have changed the addresses they used during application and some may even have died
They can always call you before delivery. This thing no hard. Let's stop making it look like 100% will change their addresses or #
If the procedure says 2 weeks after application, you will get it, you sef will plan with that info. If landlord send u away, u will put notice because passport is important 2u abd u r expecting sth
They can even ask security questions first
Ask this same NIS how they do it abroad. They are not foolish, corruption in Nigeria is what is making them look like a fool
Is this not the same country jumia is delivering in

Many would have changed address, so they have to update their addresses on the NIS portal then NIPOST deliver them.
NIPOST will only deliver if they get your ID. They can call too. NIPOST is not as bad as you make it look. Have you shipped package from abroad through NIPOST? Give them wrong name, oyo is your name. You will go to court to collect it

As the release of the Bola Tinubu records and documents from Chicago University rages, below is an open letter to Bola Tinubu by late Yinka Odumakin of beloved memory.

By Yinka Odumakin
(Yinka Odumakin, renowned NADECO Chieftain and pro-democracy activist, suddenly died on the 3rd of April, 2023 – his death certificate reads ‘complications from COVID’, but likelihood of foul play was never ruled out and his wife, Joe Okei-Odumakin, the famed activist, has since withdrawn from the public space)

Odumakin did not die in 2023. He died in 2021
Nairaland General › Re: What's A Little Thing That Actually Tells You A Lot About Someone? by papyjaypaul: 10:50am On Sep 25, 2023
Their attitude esp 2wards someone lower than them in class. That's all i need to see. You can tell who they truly are from how they treat someone they cannot benefit from.

Man and housewife
Working woman and unemployed husband
Oga to PA
Boss to employees
Oga madam and househelp
Politician and aides
Gateman and money miss road visitor
Owner and workers
Customer and restaurant attendant

Never take someone to a place they are comfortable to act and pretend, take them to a place that the settings can not be predicted. They will reveal their real selves.

I give you real life example. Before yadua died, the politicians did not rate Jonathan, na boy boy. They could not believe the same boy boy will now become Oga. They did not respect him because they never thought yadua will die and so therefore could not benefit from him. Some of them could not bring themself down to respect him so they hated him when he became President and did everything for his downfall
When he left, they all ran away. They went to Buhari, now Tinubu. Jonathan saw how they treated him when he was lower in class. That was their real self. How you treat people when you have nothing to gain from them shows who you really are
Family › Re: Never Allow Your Wife Pay Rent [japa Version] by papyjaypaul(op): 2:01am On Sep 25, 2023

Nigerian men would love to handle all the bills, it's cultural for us and the way we were raised, unfortunately, the reality there is different. The society there expects everyone to earn their keep and most especially, the bills there are overwhelming.

If you're not a cash king, you'll die before your time trying to carry the weight alone.
This is why women who are not from Nigeria find Nigerian men attractive. They are surprised to see a man responsible for things they will pay for. That is typical way of a Nigerian man taking care of his family. You must be a high value man to take care of the house from a single source.

Arab men will take care of the home without expecting from the woman. Anything she does is saara. The man should earn enough to take care of the house so the day woman show am pepper he is not homeless. It is not a thread to bash women or men but just the reality of life.
Romance › Re: Truth You Learnt As An Adult by papyjaypaul:
That people will always talk and you need to know who you are. If everyone is listening and silent, who is doing the talking? Fools? If you have something to give the world, give it because the world will always talk whether you shut up or shout out.

I also learned that your thoughts can help you or ruin you. Your thoughts are the architect of your destiny. U are a sum of what you put into your mind. Fill it with bad, dirty and negative things and that is the only ugly side you will see life as. Feed it beautiful and good things, you will rise above nonsense. You can't give what you don't have. Those who are evil have their good sides and they know the beauty of goodness. Be nice but don't be stupid. Be nice. Never let anyone change that no matter how much they think they're smart. It is on them, not you. Everyone has a conscience, it is what does not make a man sleep at night, so be nice. It lightens your heart. Evil men always look at their back because their consciencesl worries them everyday, so they don't enjoy whatever they get even if it looks to you outside like enjoyment. They are suffering.

Last thing I learned is that you must always remain grateful for the gift of life. Stop complaining, start appreciating. Life is full of experiences and it is not expensive to get but we always think it will be enjoyed when we spend plenty money. You will now understand why the rich spend money to visit islands and enjoy nature. Create your own nature. enjoy life. don't worry, be happy. Never wish to be like anyone because you may hate their life when you put on their costume. That is when you see that everyone has been putting on make-up and you are beautiful in your own mirror.

I read this post on fp and want to read what Nigerians living in Western countries think about this. I don't need arguments on the thread, I want to read you because this issue is a rude awakening to japa couples no matter how long they have lived abroad.

Men are providers. Women are caregivers. Whatever changes this in a home is the beginning of problems

Am I surprised? Is this not the man who wore an Arsenal jersey to advertise his walk?
https://www.thecable.ng/photos-covid-cant-hold-lagos-down-sanwo-olu-embarks-on-lone-walk

There was a time Fash was there, he is a man u fan but the guy had brain as gov to advocate for the NPL. He didn't bring man u to state business. the closest you got was Rio Ferdinand coming to Lagos. Fash wanted league players to be paid 1m as minimum wage, he was involved in grassroots and the principal's cup took a new leaf. People just think that economic poverty is our problem but political poverty and poverty of the mind are. What ww have today are people who lack class and recruit mind-for-sale applicants who will jolly well advertise their shit as perfume if need arises. They see public overnance as a joke and want to cut him some slack without realising that your conduct when you get there is being watched and can influence a lot of things. I am waiting for that UK parliamentarian who will go to Spain for a la liga game and won't receive flak. That you can spit does not mean you will spit outside all the time

Education › Re: Mediocrity: Why Are We Celebrating '9as' In WAEC These Days ? by papyjaypaul: 12:24pm On Aug 13, 2023
I had no problem with the topic until I read your second line. In the 90s, we were not so bothered by Tochi, Tolu or Ta-Allah. When we saw something good, we celebrated it. We were not looking at who came from where when se were watching Atlanta 96. Some of us went from the East to the North, from Lagos to Imo, from Gusau to Sagamu. Did you go to a FG school because you want to sound like you're an old school person but dropped the ball? I know where you are headed with your post and the unlucky fishes will fall for your poisonous hook. Just remember, your politicians give no damn about your differences the same way ordinary Nigerians have no problem with each other. Keep trying to rile people up, it shows what's within you.

Wait for NASS to call him. He doesn't like attention but this site needs a mix of old school and young blood for moderators. I was here when it started back then but left due to the toxicity here. This politics madness started creeping around 2007 but got worse after Yar Adua died. He let the site go to damage, not even the crash of the site where he lost old threads could save it from redemption

Maybe I am old school or superstitious but I don't fancy the way all these children's results is being posted online.

To what end?

I personally don't like it.
There has been an astronomical craze for fame in the Nigerian society. Maybe it's social media but don't you think they are preempting JAMB, WAEC after that fake result saga?
Health › Re: Mums: Would You Consider An Epidural? by papyjaypaul: 11:22am On Aug 13, 2023
chronique:
Here's a lady who said a qualified medical practictioner in Nigeria, asked her not to do it and gave her all the negatives about it and also told her it's an area that needs specialisation. Yet,some people on nairaland expect me to swallow the idea totally cos they believe in it. What works for A might definitely not work for B.
Baba na because of u I register add dis comment. I see say u still active and na one of the old sch guys. I been de come here that 2006 time when people de discuss and NL na exchange of ideas. All dis fight fight jus de make man laff. I like you. You be man. Wetin women want today na make man de agree with everything dem say. Dem don de blackmail you because you talk natural and you no be woman. As God take build us, we get our strength and weakness for both gender and me love them good women out there. No man wey be real man go wan make him wife suffer or any woman wey him de protect. Na solution to dis epidural pain make me come here. I don get pikin for Naija, i don get am for US. Na d side effect of that epidural make me find dis thread if women get cure for dis thing. Since dem give my woman dat tin, d tin don almost wreck ma family. She no be d same again. Oyinbo own na do test, chiropractor, physiotherapy and all the tin wey insurance fit no cover but no solution.

No b dis same US I de see woman de birth inside water? If person never reach here, e go be like say na everything our mama and papa dem de do de backwards. Our pipul dem mind don de colonised ,if dem see anything wey oyinbo do,dem call am progress. If dem see our own, dem call am suffer, backwardness and bad bad name dem. Dem no know say oyinbo no put black person body inside their design. oyinbo de do like shylock at times, dem go talk the good side come comot the bad side, just leave am quiet. make i leave pidgin mata now

As you said, people are different and it's likely that the side effects may affect a percentage of pregnant women. I am not bothered by the CS vs natural honor card but I am a testimony to the fact that epidural does not work for every woman. If anyone has a natural cure to the pain that comes from this injection, emphasis on natural cure to the after effects which is the terrible pain women encounter, please advise. When I did some research on it, I saw that women may experience a few days or weeks but also long-term pain. It's that long term pain that has brought me here. All deliveries were natural, only in US did we have epidural added. The reason I know is that we never saw this after the naija pregnancies but the U.S. one changed our lives forever since that injection.
