It's a new low for the Presidency to go personal like this. Stay on the issue. The Presidency is an institution, not for politics but for governance.

Onanuga could have responded to Ndume on Twitter and Facebook with his personal account instead of using the Presidency to fight with a Senator, representing a Senatorial District of his people. Tinubu will leave the Presidency one day so we need to be careful how we use state institutions that will record every government correspondence for the future.

You need to give readers background and context to stories. I am sure it's yesterday's protest since it's coming from Sahara Reporters but the story is missing dates. It is assuming any reader knows who is the flag boy. This is too poor for FP mods.

The Emir was not allowed to ride horse for durbar recently but some guys in the beaches of Lagos have the freedom to ride it every time. Another man is in US playing polo. Such is life.

This democracy of Nigeria eh, the Governors are worse than the President if you start talking about dictators and abuse of power. Those governors want to sit on the money and don't want LG Chairmen to outshine them if they have direct access to the money. You will now see how useless most governors are because the things they celebrate and they campaign on are usually LG work on the residual list.

Ambode came into government and was constructing inner roads, work of LG. He later took over waste management, another work of the LG. A lot of things that belong to LG have been taken over by the state in Lagos under the creation of agencies. What an aberration. Give LG their money and you will see how the money will trickle down and create more jobs at the local level instead of these governors hoarding the money for political power and patronage. Nigeria shall be free.

Emergency rule will create more emergencies because it is not recognized.

What if the Emergency Ruler dies in office? The Nigerian consituition already has the answer to that if the Governor died in office. Mr Akeredolu died before his tenure was over and the constitution took care of his death in office.

What makes it okay for a Sole Administrator to rule a state for 6 months without commissioners? Does it mean the President can also work without Ministers or will it be like how Aregbesola tried to keep working in Osun State without Commissioners for months?

On what authority is the Sole Administrator able to spend from the budget? Budget is law, how can an alien spend from the budget? That is criminal and he can be taken to court after his time.

What immunity does the Sole Administrator have for his time in office?

How can an appointee be more powerful than people that were elected? This appointment was the biggest mistake Tinubu made and it will come back to haunt him. Any story he was trying to write about himself as a Democrat has been demystified with this appointment. He looks like he has been carried away by the office of the President and no spinster can write his biography or go to his TV channels to paint him in good light. This was an abberation and a destruction of democracy. It is better to redeem his image by reversing the decision.

I was only making reference to his style of analysis with hard facts he presents not just because he works for Tinubu's station (like the widely perceive notion) of his traducers.

I have watched and listened to his views on so many issues I did not sense bias neither did I sense any sentiments.
I am too old enough to not see through the lies and sleaze of any journalists.
BKO is the least of them bunch to do that; I should be defending him? No, not really, I only see a forth right man who loves his country that's all not one who supports politicians.

The problem I have with some of us is we expect every one in the media profession to lambast government at any given time even if there are reason(s) not to.

We are on the same page except your last paragraph. BKO chooses where to be aggressive ever since APC came into government. Most of these things are planned. Tinubu and his cohorts know the power of the media and used it for political influence, this is why I was not surprised that they dismantled Radio Continental after they won the election. Print, TV or Radio, they know that Nigerians love political analysis and if you can get their attention through one of them, then he can influence the public. Politicians have tried this in the newspaper industry that opinion pieces have lost their relevance. I don't blame anyone for choosing any side. In fact, it is difficult to have anyone of us without some bias but some things are just so obvious that their wheel balance no de balance.

BKO is biased towards APC and what Jagaban wants. For BKO to consistently call El Rufai "short man devil" shows that he's not as professional as he claims. I prefer a Jimi Disu to him. BKO is so partisan and the only reason I choose JD is when an analyst is consistent on principles. Again, no one is perfect. I don't agree with all JD says but I like someone who critiques because of the larger society. JD can admit tomorrow that he was wrong but when he analyzes issues, you see how he differentiates the personality from the topic and has concerns about the country. People who are thinking about what the analysis means for future of the country and the upcoming. BKO panders on some issues and you also know that most of the media houses in Nigeria have been captured by politicians for their image laundering. Therefore I will rather listen to those who are not another NTA division. It is difficult to see stations that will bring two opposite sides like we used to have in the past. Everyone is looking for what to eat and afraid to offend the government.

Kids don't have filter, that's why they drop it like it's hot.

Sowore will be better as an opposition party leader to make sure each government is kept in check. I personally can't vote for him, because I don't trust his leadership skills but for political pressure and consciousness, give it to him. He has had that strength from University days. Not all Union Leaders make good leaders. Oshiomole was a good Union leader but he was demystified when he became Governor.

But our governors and Presidents are not different. They are power drunk and lie to themselves. Akeredolu could not handover before he died. Our leaders, if given the opportunity will carry their executive powers to space. They will die there with it. That's why they don't have proteges, they are hypocrites.
