Gbayi People of Abuja The politicians and their minions only cause more division if you are ignorant of history. They use your ignorance as cannon fodder for their divide and rule campaign. |
lawani:This is the effect of removing history. He doesn't even know why the capital was moved from Lagos to FCT, why it was created from scratch but it's Twitter, the birds can chirp to the highest volume.

Atuero:AGIP ade4real2016:They can't live without power. Now people are saying Wike or Wike that. It's the destruction of opposition politics where they will keep dangling carrots in front of them to test their loyalty. But there is a good side to it. We are going to have an opposition that is based on principles and conviction so I want Tinubu to keep dangling carrots, let's see road well. Tinubu is a kind of politician who believes everyone has a price so let's see how cheap people are. It's a part of the 'he gets what he wants and goes for it'. Most of the people that fought him in Lagos, including Pedro and Ambode have come back to him except Bucknor and recently, Aregbesola. It's good to know those who are strong in their conviction and principles when it is easy to fall for money. The military played this script well. If Atiku won, I don't think he will also be different. Both Atiku and Tinubu have this personality that show that money can fix anything, just name the price. |

Girls from good and bad girls turned female hostels into pickup warehouses for sugar daddies who are Directors of Extra Marital Affairs, Fornication Unlimited but did that stop the focused girls from graduating? What you are looking for is looking for you. My only problem with Nigerians is that they behave like Fulani Herdsmen cows. They follow the crowd. If tomorrow, someone says you can start making money by preaching at bus parks, preachers will be more than the passengers. That's how we are. We like vitality like viruses, that's how we abuse things. Canada UK study route Libya MMM Zero initiatives, 100% copy cats Edit: there are women only gyms in some places abroad. That's a new business opportunity. Some guys don't like the distraction of women and insta influencers and some women don't feel safe around men. Win win for all |

The current federal government has festered mutual suspicions among the people instead of mutual cooperation and unity. The danger of a single story is when they are terrorists to some people and hunters to some people. There is no trust in the authorities, unfortunately. |
They waste their time trying to be attack dogs instead of defensive cats. You have more mileage when you speak more about what your government is doing than attacking others. The only measured spokesperson who understood this job in recent times was Ajuri. Hardly did you see him respond to opposition or tackle them. He was statesmanly in his response, befitting of the office of the Presidency. I wasn't surprised Tinubu adopted him but know when the fat cats are jealous of what he does and how he does, leading to his resignation in the name of a private affair he had to take care of. Femi Adesina called his fellow Nigerians, which is government will preside over whether opposition or not, WAILING WAILERS and he even wrote about it. He never apologized for that statement and expected Nigerians to listen to him. His condescending tone and attitude made you despise Buhari more rather than love him. Even if he was telling the truth, he already set the tone of distrust by being rude and political. Leave the real and imagined enemies for politicians, that's their game. What about the one on Twitter? I have forgotten his name, the Buhari SSA on Twitter prefers to do banter and argue online when he could have put that space to good use. Every time Obasanjo, TI, IMF, World Bank writes, they think they must respond. In their minds, they are defending the government. Politicians will always align even if they are in opposition, this will make you look stupid when you spent your time attacking and insulting them just because your principal is in power. The last persons who knew how to respond to this were both Segun Adeniyi and Frank Nweke Jnr. Back to Ajuri, if you observed him, in his statements and his TV interviews, he kept the focus on what the government was doing, respectful in his conduct and choosing his words carefully. This will let people know what the government is doing and projects they are working on. It's not just about photo ops and Twitter posts. It's a lot of work to do. This same guy worked for AIT, and you can spot the difference. If they knew how important that post was to help the government, they will go on training in handling public issues but you can't give what you don't have. Eye service is doing them. |
I am one of those who believe that our newspapers, who bloggers learned from like violence. That's why you see headlines and titles like AHMED MUSA STORMS HOTEL, SLEEPS AT 2AM CPC DELEGATES THREATEN FIRE AND BRIMSTONE IF SEYI TINUBU DELCARES FOR GOVERNOR ALL HELL WILL BE LET LOOSE IF IJAW NATION VOTES IN THE NEXT ELECTION SUPER EAGLES STORM MAPUTO FOR DO OR DIE QUALIFIER Super Eagles only landed in the destination for a VIP game ![]() CHAOS, PANDEMONIUM AS RIVERS ASSEMBLY MACE TAKEN AWAY FG RELEASES FUNDS TO LGAs, GOVERNORS FIGHT BACK, "NO ELECTION, NO FUNDS" ANNIE MACAULAY SPITS AS MARRIAGE HIT ROCKS BANK PLANES GROUNDED AS FG CLAMPS DOWN ON PRIVATE JETS MIDNIGHT SHOCKER! I remember Tope of TVC was asking if the project can be completed before 3 months and the other ladies were asking why. Here you have it. There are no foolish questions after all. |
emkz:I agree. That's why you see the likes of Segun Sowumi talk about a new movement while still in PDP. Atiku is the only one not reading the handwriting on the wall. They are tired of him but he's not tired of being the cash cow. Buhari's victory gave him false hope. As someone said, if for 30 years you have been contesting to be President and you don't have a protege yet, then that ambition is selfish, not for national interest and Buhari's eight tenure proves that to be true.

QuinQ:You forget that men rape woman after drugging them. And you think women don't do the same thing? Everything is not manpower, some are just tactics. And yes, women gangrape men, though it's not as common as men to women. |

QuinQ:Are you saying women cannot rape men violently like men do? If that is what you are saying, I'm afraid you are wrong. So so wrong.

meobizy:Be careful what you wish for. The age of consent as 18 is not universal, just thought to point out that to you. |

Friend22:Hnmmm. Stephen Sackur. You bring back memories. But do you know he and Mehdi have opposition? I don't think everyone can like us and as an adult, you should choose to see issues for what they are for every man has a bias. Obasanjo once tackled Sackur for his questioning style, "can you talk to Tony Blair like that?" Also because we are in Africa, respect does not make us go hard like that except you are old as a journalist. Amanpour made a mess of Jonathan when he succumbed himself to that style and this now makes me talk about Rufai/BKO. BKO, before Buhari came in talked so much about MI 35 and fighter jets just because he is familiar with the North, was invited by the NAF on a tour and has some Intel. Okay, MI 35 came, did that end BH? Why am I doing this? He can be overconfident on his position and Intel. The domineering attitude makes it difficult to listen to the other sides. I think TVC got the complaints or/and they wanted to promote him, that's why they created Issues With BKO. That is his platform where he can talk, talk and talk because if he is left with others, he doesn't respect his role as an analyst. I watched him recently with Usen Jones and he was doing the questioning of the Rivers woman. Oga, everyone has their role. The anchor should be respected and other guests should be allowed to talk. This is the same thing with Rufai. He tries to convince guests of his position, asks long-winded questions and goes into unnecessary background stories before asking questions. I the viewer wants to hear from the guest, there's a place for you to give your POV, don't waste crucial airtime trying to convince your guest or make them look small because their POV sounds absurd to you. BKO was on the panel that interviewed Soludo, along with Abati. There is a reason Abati takes the lead in most of these things but you need to understand that the demography is changing. Young people today don't like those who pander or gift soft landing. While Rufai sometimes does it overboard (almost hounding his guests), the questions have their usefulness. That's what people want to listen to. People are not interested in PR of the guests so Rufai tries to get the juice from them but he can be naive when he asks guests to provide evidence, a request Professor Bolaji kindly schooled him on. People talk in innuendos and they don't need to provide facts on air the way they do on social media but if you ask your questions well, they will counter themselves and give that answer you are looking for. Once you make them defensive, you have lost the juice. Does Nigeria have the Steve Sackur styled journalist? Edmund Obilo comes near to it. Seun is also good with questioning style. You can see the difference between Natasha's interview on Channels and Arise. Also, Charles is a rare gem of Arise. Look at this interview of Charles interviewing Babangida when he was in BBC. A journalist who is an analyst often finds it difficult to wear the cap of an interviewer. We have journalists today who are like podcast hosts, they are more interested in their voices than the guest. They also don't know how to summarize their thoughts and ask brief questions. It's something Arise does where they ask 1-3 questions and expect the guest to remember all. You have provided an escape room for them to avoid some questions. Did I say what I like about BKO? He has good Intel, history and contexts but if you are old enough to read between the lines, his partisanship is obvious. It is rare to find an analyst who is independent and who is objective. Sometimes, we don't know what is in their belly. That is why many people have been disappointed in the columnists who later worked for politicians because people saw that they were doing the criticisms for attention and future employment |
Every controversy increases media views, good for both stations. Otitoju is a Tinubu lackey and Rufai gets too emotional but they have their good sides. Otitoju has contexts and stories while Rufai asks the hard hitting questions viewers want to be asked. Both of them like to listen to themselves and ironically, they both have their shows on TV and radio. No one is perfect so take why you want from them. Otitoju is a mini Tinubu spokesperson while Rufai is a mini masses spokesperson. Good luck to them. |
