The Five Billion Naira that was distributed to each State Governor is part of the palliatives. Go and Ask Your State Governor how he will spend it. |

What a foolish statement Slurity: Its actually a sensible one. I am from the south but the aboki make a solid point. Imagine Wike is make Minister of FCT and northern location. Abuja is not a state. Northerners were made Ministers Of The Federal Territory Of Lagos, when Lagos was still the Capital Of Nigeria. From 1959-1964, Muhammadu Ribadu was in charge of Lands & Lagos Affairs. Muhammadu Ribadu is from Adamawa State. |

ivandragon: I have said it before & I will continue to say it, palliative is not the way forward.
Tackle the issue from the core. Pallatives are window dressings & only enhance corruption.
When are we going to start holding public officials responsible for their obvious failings? The Federal Government have talked about what they will do, but it seems people like you have not been listening. What's your State Governor also doing? Your State Governor received Five Billion Naira, you should also be concern about how he will be spending it. The President and FG should not be the only Public Officials we should always tackle everytime. And Nigerians are not ready to start holding Public Officials responsible for their failing. Even if you prove to Nigeria the Candidate they are supporting failed to achieve any tangible thing while he was serving in a public position, it won't stop Nigerians from defending such politicians. |

Judicial precedence is the first thing judges consider in seeking redress in court. I want you to show me your own source the Supreme Court Justices said 25% is important in the case between OBJ and Buhari in 2003 I'm also waiting for you to show evidence Pandora Lawyers refer to this same 2003 case in their Final Written Statement that's out in the Open. |

Judicial precedence is the first thing judges consider in seeking redress in court. I've never seen a set of ignorant and clueless people like you Obidients. There were live updates on some social media platform and even here on Nairaland on what's going on at the Tribunal. The final written statement aligned with all the live report we got here on Nairaland, in fact, and Obidient was always updating us here on Nairaland during Pandora Tribunal sitting. I also told you that, the Final written statement by the Petitioners and Respondents is out in the Open, but you're so Shallow and Crass to make your own research to read Pandora and Atiku lawyers final written statement. You prefer to believe what your fellow Zombidiots are spewing on Nairaland. I'm not even suppose to be having this kind of discussion with an ignorant person like you. You're lucky I am in a good mood to cure you from your ignorance and cluelessness this morning. https://www.nairaland.com/7737885/peter-obi-vs-tinubu-22thYou can search for IamV here on Nairaland, he was updating Nairalanders during the tribunal sitting. When anybody doesn't show support for your illegitimate president, your myopic, shortsighted brain erroneously conclude the person to be an Igbo.
Why are you people so dedicated to stupidity? @the bolded Nah your father for house you're referring to, not me Even though I don't get the point you're trying to pass across, Delta State and Edo State is not the only states were elections took place in Nigeria. Majority of Nigerians know the Pandora Clown has nothing to offer, so he was rejected and could only get 25% and above in just 15 state and the FCT while Asiwaju got more than 25% of the votes and above in 30 State. Nobody from Delta State and Edo State have turned themselves to a nuisance because Pandora the Mediocre lost an election. People don move on. Nah Igbos like You and the OP of this thread from the South East wey still dey feel pains because Pandora lost a free and fair Election and constituting themselves as nuisance all over the social media. |

By using sharing as an excuse, monies have gone into the pipeline of Corruption. It's a question of take yours and remove eye from mine. What serious nations sees sharing as solution to recurring problem? We don't have power, no Refinery is working, no plan for modular alternative, nothing. Just sharing.

Tareq1105: How would you advise Govs to use palliative money to pay pension?
Palliative money is for the needy in each state and not for civil servants.
I just hope these Govs would add their own state contributions to the palliative money and be fair to residents of their respective states.
However, I observed that population of each state should be considered in future. The population of Benue state for instance is not the same as Kano state.
Thanks all the same President Tinubu. This palliative should be repeated by December to make life easier for the citizenry.
More strength. I'm not asking them to use everything. |
