Kwankwaso might not win, but he sire is a million times better than Obi Pandora, it just baffles me how some miscreants want him to be deputy to Obi Pandora. Compare their performance as Governors alone, Kwankwaso beats Obi Pandora hands down, and he already have a structure with mammoth followership.. This is the Man Obi Pandora will be dragging 3rd place with.. 1 Like |

Crime / Fake LASTMA Operative David Oluchukwu Nabbed In Lagos. by Paretomaster1(m): 12:09pm On Dec 15, 2022 |
Fake LASTMA operative nabbed in Lagos, confesses to making N50k per day A 27-year-old man who goes home with a minimum of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000) everyday, through the criminal act of impersonating as an operative of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, has been arrested. Fully-kitted in LASTMA accoutrements, the suspect, David Oluchkwu, was caught pants down on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 in the Lekki area of Lagos State by the Agency’s patrol team, monitoring and controlling traffic on that axis. The Agency’s Director of Public Affairs Department, Adebayo Taofiq, disclosed in a press statement that preliminary investigations conducted by the Agency revealed that Oluchukwu belonged to a criminal gang that had been extorting motorists of huge sums of money for various traffic offences, ranging from seat-belt, obstructions, illegal over-taking and driving against traffic. Adebayo quoted the Agency’s General Manager, Bolaji Oreagba, as saying that, “the suspect was apprehended after our patrol team sighted him fully kitted in LASTMA uniform on a black jean, collecting money from commercial bus drivers, who were discharging and picking passengers on an unapproved bus-stop under the Lekki bridge” Oreagba, according the statement, was bemused at the incident, saying “It is disheartening for some unscrupulous elements to impersonate as LASTMA officials to be extorting innocent motorists, thereby denting the good image of the Agency before the public”. Consequently, the General Manager, has enjoined motorists to be wary of fake officers demanding money from them as, according to him, the Agency operates a cashless policy. He added that, violators of traffic rules were charged to court with a ‘Referral Notice’, and warned those in the habit of impersonating the Agency to desist from such illegal acts as more surveillance personnel had been deployed to strategic locations to hunt for those extortionist, whose activities painted the Agency in bad light. The Ukpu-born suspect in Anambra State, confessed to the crime, averring that, on daily basis, he made an average of N40,000 from the illegal traffic business. He was said to had confessed that, “Any motorists I caught driving against traffic (One-way) paid a minimum of N50,000 while other traffic violators were charged with different fines”. The LASTMA statement quoted the suspect, with no any fixed address, to have appealed to the government to temper justice with mercy. Meanwhile, the Director, Legal Department of LASTMA, Barr. Akerele Kehinde disclosed that the suspect would be charged to court, today Thursday, December 15, in accordance with the Criminal Code Law of Lagos State.

UncleAyo: Hausa, and Swahili are the 2 most spoken languages in Africa , with many claiming Swahili to take the lead, but I disagree because of all the African countries I have been to, am yet to see people speaking Swahili the way HAUSA is being spoken. Last country I was is Niger Republic, and I tell you I only blend in because I can speak Hausa, and the people don't speak English but French... There is hardly any African country you go, and don't find Hausa speakers. World renown media Houses in US, Britain, French, Germany etc have been transmitting in Hausa since before Nigeria Independence . Why did you think the Hausas are usually vast in current affairs, and politics even with little education?? They are always glued to their transistor radio where they listen to world news, and events broadcasted in their mother tongue... 13 Likes 3 Shares |
