SuperMartins: pls wats a 'Black Canary' and wats her role? the black canary is d sidekick of d Green arrow or d arrow... a brief history of d black canary shows dat d wife of detective lance(laurel n Sarah's mother was d first black canary b4 laurel took over(enough with comic history) ... in d TV series "Arrow" ,Sarah was d black canary in season 2(but she was not d original) den she passed it on to Laurel(who is d original black canary) to continue helping oliver...mind u in smallville ,d black canary also appeared n she was Laurel Dinah Lance who also helped d green arrow n Clark Kent in d series n in so many other comic books n animations,Laurel not Sarah was d black canary ...I don't know why d producers of "Arrow" decided to give it to Sarah first |

With only your desparation not to talk of the others, me wey no know you no go come that your village, not to talk of her wey know every...Op go and seat down till you and your peeps are willing to deal fairly with her. She is not the fool you'll like to call her. what part of "we just want to talk things over" is hard for u to demystify? we don't know what her problems with us are, simple! but as a family its wrong to leave it dat way so we r ready to talk "things" over which clearly means dat we r ready to hear what she has to say n r willing to resolve dis situation... what is hard dia to understand eh? |

crackhaus: Normally in situations like this, 'a wise woman' will visit her husband's hometown at least once a year if she lives in the country. It could be during a family event (wedding, burial, Christmas, etc).. doing this will only show that she still has some regard for her husband's people regardless of what she thinks/suspects about them.
But seeing that she refuses to step foot on it, there's nothing you or anyone can 'physically' do about it especially if her husband is okay with it. However, staying away will only cause more problems for her and even if her suspicions are totally false, this single act of disregard on her part will make her the center of attacks from her husband's people...she will be seen as the bad wife and her gist will be on everyone's lips. Like I said before, a wise woman would know how to handle this situation without giving 'your people' more reasons to gossip her
NB: I put 'physically' in bold for a reason, just in case there are members of your family who are indeed diabolical I totally understand u but we don't do juju ...besides we just want to talk things over dats all |

RayMcBlue: Cronos is Titan, no? The topic said Gods/Goddesses. Titans are not Gods in a traditional sense. According to greek mythology, the greeks rarely view them as deities.
Atlas is a god however, though not particularly an exceptional one. Titans r gods ,more like pro-gods(d gods b4 d present gods) |

Nomski0: Speaking of Sarah's death, I absolutely, completely hate Laurel. If I doubted my growing hatred for her before...........I don't need to anymore.
The writers killed off Tommy so she could have her own arc, now they kill off Sarah because they want her to be black canary?
What's next? They kill off Felicity so Laurel can be with Oliver? I'm not a huge fan of Sarah but Laurel will never be half the black canary Sarah was. If they keep killing characters to prop up Laurel....... arrow will lose fans.
*I absolutely loved the flash!!! I love Barry Allen* de producers said b4 hand dat a series regular will be cut off n I suspected it will be Sarah cos its Laurel dat is d black canary not Sarah |

shooze: EfemenaXY you nailed it. The OP clearly hates his uncles wife and note the way he refers to her family with disdain. I am sure the woman has sensed this hatred and would rather keep away dude a family dat allows dis to happen without doing anything is not a good one don't u think? I don't hate her ,it's being over 10yrs since dis situation has being lingering n its being too much ,so d question u should be asking is dis "what is her own family doing about it?" while our own family has being pleading for to at least come back for once EfemenaXY: Careful, @op. You're starting to sound quite evil. Why do you hate her so much? Where are you from? East? West? North? Or south? Where is she from? we r both from d east n am not evil, its a family situation n everybody(including me) is starting to feel worried...if I hate her,I wouldn't hv opened dis thread or worried abt dis case cos u might never know d future |

Makes absolutely no sense to you bt it sure will make absolutely much sense to her From my thorough investigation ,I don't think we (husband's family) has done anything dat she won't forgive(which means we hv nt done anything bad to her) ...n d most annoying part is dat u can't be comfortable when u visit her(n my uncle) at dia place in Lag |

Family › Re: Your Opinion On A Woman That Has Not Visited Her Husband's Village For Once by parrotibaba(op): 7:58pm On Oct 09, 2014 |
cococandy: Just like that? Haba what happened?
My family can't just wake up and start telling me my husband's family wants to kill me.
Something must have led to that. And if it is something genuine, then it's not surprising that she's reluctant to visit.
No one wants to play with their life even if the threat is very very minimal.
In fact if there's possibility of a quarrel or fight, someone like me won't even want to visit because I fear trouble pass anything. Not to talk of when I'm genuinely afraid for my life.
Finally why doesn't she trust her husband? Even if I have issues with my in laws,as long as my husband dey my corner,I'll have no fear. Something tells me she doesn't trust the man.
They need to sort out whatever is going on beneath before the visiting issue can be addressed. dats d problem, what could possibly cause dis kind of thought about her husband's family? dats why I suspect brainwash from d other side of d Table |
Family › Re: Your Opinion On A Woman That Has Not Visited Her Husband's Village For Once by parrotibaba(op): 7:54pm On Oct 09, 2014 |
Godmystrength: why does she think there is a conspiracy? Besides, you telling us that her reasons are not good enough is unaccept unless you tell is what her reason is exactly. You are uncle's family and will definitely be on his side whether right or wrong. her reasons r not good enough in the sense dat she thinks its a conspiracy amongst us(the husband's family) to kill her which mks absolutely no sense! |
Family › Re: Your Opinion On A Woman That Has Not Visited Her Husband's Village For Once by parrotibaba(op): 7:52pm On Oct 09, 2014 |
Sophyrocks: You shouldnt conclude that her people are brainwashing her. That could lead to more feud between families. I feel she needs to open up more about what she saw or heard that made her conclude that they are conspiring against her. You can't make accusations like that without concrete proof. I hope she isnt the superstitious type that loves to point fingers. what r ur suggestions? |
