I wish I could do something else, considering the convict is a young man, but my hands are tied. The provision of § 192a StGB is mandatory and must be implemented. Accordingly, I hereby sentence Festus Stephen to death by hanging.May God have mercy on you,” the judge ruled.

Nksleek: The Delta State Honorable Commissioner For Oil And Gas, Emman Amgbaduba escaped an abduction attempt on Sunday evening after outsmarting a gang of daredevil kidnappers in Warri.
Focus Naija can report that the abduction attempt was carried out along the popular NPA expressway on his way into town around 7pm.
According to him, the gang operating in a beige colored Toyota Camry rammed into his vehicle and forcefully brought it to a halt.
He narrated that two hefty members of the gang immediately alighted from the vehicle and one charged towards him. Without panicking, he made a getaway by putting his vehicle on reverse and faced the one at the passenger side on top speed. While the kidnapper jumped off to save himself, he zoomed off through the space provided.
He wrote in part;
