amustsuccess:Thats good sir. The stock will go places. When and where it will is the question. They will release Q3 result soon. Myjoy08 has seen it unofficially. There is also the NGN0.70k dividend to look forward to. They seem to have a knack for interesting transactions. The most recent one being the sale of 80% of their stake in an OPL to a little known company which was incorporated about the time the agreement with COP was agreed on. Watch out! You cant go wrong. |
Which kind bad market be this one? This dude must be evilspirit!
|
amustsuccess:O and O (O2) |
feelamong:Sir, I insist that I can not shout. Said stock has shed almost a full naira since my most recent exit. |
amustsuccess:Sadly I can not help you Sir. I am very conservative with my expectations, and also very lousy at predictions in the short term. I go with the information flow Sir. I know everyone with a Nigerian bank account back home will need to enrol in BVN soon. I also know there is a National ID card scheme in the works somewhere. I like the company behind both schemes. Will they yield before Xmas? May be not this one. |
I have just shed all my Oxygen. 15% in 2 days. I recently read that their are 17 different entities nested in the Oxygen molecule. I wish everyone there lykke til. You cant go wrong, watch out! |
So with this, one can expect that Sterling, UBA (and FBNH) will not get the Access Bank treatment ![]() http://www.punchng.com/business/capital-market/nse-postpones-new-listing-rule-date/ |
nitrogen:The said Insurance company na. The one that started tumbling around the time Heritage finished paying for Enterprise ![]() |
Aks:Depends on when exactly they sold. Not sure any stock has recovered fully yet. So I rejoice with folks who successfully sold short mehn! |
immanuello:last trade at 4.18 2.3m bid below 4.11 with 63,000 offer at 4.38 |
amustsuccess:Hope is not an investment strategy Sir. Wapic will recover in the longterm. But don't tie down funds which you may need at Xmas or for Valentines day . |
But why people wicked like this na? Na only the man wey sell this 1 share of Ikeja waka come today! When CSCS go charge am NGN4.00 before SEC add them own join! haba mana.

feelamong:Mehn, the fear of being the last man with the monkey .... |

nitrogen:Has this stock now finished its journey? ![]() |
Mehn, Ikeja Hotel own no be joke again sha! 37m bid and 0 offer! May your competitors do NGN10 IPO o! |
kotlass:No vex my Oga. May your joy not be shortlived! You cant go wrong! Watch out! |
Born2berich:Yes ooo, I have always clamoured that the OS is sufficient to go round! Doing just under 8% now, in it for the JIJO, anything more than 10% and I may be out again. I will leave the longtermers waiting for NGN0.70k to watch the rest of the MOJO ![]() |
kotlass:The market has improved a lot! Refresh your market view. About 1.5m Oxygen on offer. I just picked some up now, at a 20% discount to my previous exit ![]() |
donmarshia:Pre Market commences at 9.30am. Actual trading at 10.15 - 2.28 (btw then and 2.30 is for market makers). |
NSEfresher:That will be very very good. Any idea if it will be across the bourse or just some particular stocks? The bears tend to empty this forum. If positive Q3 results are released and the market picks up, we can expect some adrenaline kick which should #bringbackourbrethren. I just read this: http://businessdayonline.com/2014/10/nigeria-stocks-bonds-suffer-as-funds-exit-naira-assets-on-oil-price-risk/#.VESZZ_mUdlw |
Tolktob:I am sure he is. I saw him "viewing this topic" earlier today. |

@ The Sage: PW sends apologies for his excessive posts, his wife and son also complain about this and are glad the time he spends at his workstation in the house are due to his love of JIJO and not MOJO . I dont blame him, he has too much time on his hands as he hasn't been in a 9-5 job since Nov '13. As he cant get on the dole where he is, and has to keep up with the Joneses in obudo oyinbo, his ventures back home are as diverse as to include cattle rearing and a petrol station. Be wary of his posts though and always do your DD, as he lacks any background in the financial services sector either from training or work experience as Omaojo and Dexter can attest. |
Toluway:Sir, this is laughable. Today is Saturday, yesterday Friday the market capitalization of listed equities on the NSE decreased to NGN12,612 trillion shedding NGN96 billion. Is the bull back? Now this thing about someone here spreading alarm with the aim of crashing the system is no longer funny. What effect do we all here on NSEMPA have on the NSE? Multiply all our positions (including guest viewers) by 10 and I can posit that its not up to what the market shed yesterday, in its 10th straight day with bears in control. |
Those who know the real cause/causes of the bear in the NSE are sadly not on NSEMPA. So we are all just speculating. However, I dont think it is to do with elections or Boko Haram. It is all in the timing. If it had any relationship with terrorist activities in the North East, then why now? Why not a few weeks back when BH were summarily executing tens of people, occupying police and military facilities at will? Ask any MOPOL what Gwoza Hills means to them and they will tell you. Yet the market didnt react in such a bearish manner when BH occupied it or when the girls were taken. If its the uncertainty of elections, why now? Why not wait till Q3 results and exit when the ovation is loudest? What else is coincidental in the financial and geopolitical world now? I would say its the oil, the oil and maybe the oil. |
^^^ In business if your personal relationship doesn't give you an edge, why bother? You can have as many brokers as you want, I have more than one. |
immanuello:Sir, I have never paid close attention to this stock so cant really be of help. Someone else on here may have Caverton on their charts and have an opinion on it. |
immanuello:20th – 24th October 2014 |
Born2berich:You cant go wrong! Watch out! I have a funny feeling that the dividend yield which the N0.70k represents, may increase further with time. I may be wrong as usual. |
omaojo1:I am grateful to WT for dissapointing me "in Sept 1" and making me sell at a faster rate that day. I am saddened I have missed out on a whole NGN0.30k per share since then. ![]() |
immanuello:17th of November. |
