solomon111: Then who has the capacity.Fooools! Buhari is not the president. Supposing you had a decisive president, shouldn't the culprit(s) for those slain corpers be behind bars right now? Address the topic, and stop playing the old useless tactics of calling Buhari into the utter stewpeedity of your president. |
The foolish brained president did not need a committee to review his food allocations. The foolish brained president did not need a committee to review changing Unilag to Maulag. The foolish brained president did not need a committee to review announcing the removal of ''fake subsidy''. The foolish brained president did not need a committee to review his cassava bread policy. You know why? He means business! Whenever your useless president needs to delay matters, he sets-up a committee to review the reports compiled from the findings of a corrupt committee based on the initial research of a previous corrupt committee. |
Seun: We do not want to alienate any ethnic group by shaming their widely respected role models. It's not worth it.Seriously?! Did we alienate any ethnic group by voting in GEJ last year as the winner of hall of shame? Is it then worth it having the hall of fame in this regards too since we seem to be ''alienating an ethnic group''? Now I can see why tribalism grows without hindrance on this forum. It is your forum, you want to protect your interest above all else. If I remember clearly, Achebe was once nominated as a potential winner to the hall of fame on nairaland. That you are in the hall of shame in one year does not mean you can not jump into the hall of fame the following year. There is no fun in having just simply a Hall of Fame and no Hall of Shame on nairaland. You lot might as well cancel the whole shenanigan henceforth. ![]() |
Proudly you don come again oh! ![]() You still have some credibility though. At least you got the shirt number of Wilshere right even when I strongly doubted it. |
Hall of Shame 2012 - Achebe. ![]() Even Seun acknowledges that it is a shameful thing that someone as Achebe' as old as he is, should be bagging that award. Achebe the bigot! |
afam4eva: Wow! I never knew we had peace in Nigeria. Then why have we all been complaining for then and calling for Jonathan head and those in the top echelon of government. This kain peace make sense die.You would do well to stop attacking people for voicing their opinion for whomever they chose as the winner for Hall of Shame 2012. Most certainly, Chinua Achebe deserves it. |
So this is the ridiculous thread that sparked off two good moderators resigning their posts? I voted for GEJ, but on a second thought, I am changing my mind to Achebe. Seun, you are a total disappointment for creating this thread. |
Some of us have been travelling all day, so what really happened? Still can't believe a whole Seun is typing a letter of apology on here. What really happened though? |
Tunde Bakare. ![]() |
Chinua ACHEBE, surely tops it for me! ![]() |
GEJ is ignorant of fuel subsidy scam. GEJ is ignorant of pension fund scam. GEJ is ignorant of 16 billion Naira contract row. All hail the ignorant President! |
Beating your wife - for real? I prefer to tickle her and it is more fun for both of us; and make her beg profusely, especially when she has misbehaved. ![]() Wife beating or battering is totally wrong. |
For once and for all, dayokanu's mouth go forever sharap when GUNNERS deal with them both home and away! |
hypeman: Change is the only constant thing in life - China's story is a testament to how a country can move from poverty to wealth and super-power status...I am encouraged when I read posts such as yours. But I have to just tell myself the bitter truth when I look at the way Nigeria is trending. I know one day Nigeria will wake up to its true greatness and potentials, but definitely not in the next 5 - 10 years. |
duni04: I don't get! Wot d guy said makes absolute sense, or its previous beef?It is beef and more. He does not like to be shown for his utter stewpeedity online. |
hypeman: Fixing Nigeria isn't as difficult as most want to believe - the country just needs restructuring, proactive and selfless leaders, and a change in the mentality of the followers... We also need to redefine our identity and promote nationalism...I think it is easier stated than done though. Till when the national re-awakening happens, let the Nigerian rat race continues. ![]() |
manny4life: True that. Question remains though, when are we gonna have the "right system" ?I think in my mind I have concluded, not in my generation would the 'right system' be in place (I hope I am proved wrong though). We may and surely shall continue to produce singular individuals like lady Alakija from Nigeria, but without the 'right system' that allows everyone to determine their destiny in Nigeria, we would keep going in circles. |
manny4life: Yeah, comparatively to the U.K., we still have a long way ahead, nonetheless, like I said, we're reach in both natural and human capital (getting there)...but we've not harnessed the true meaning of our wealth and resources. You are very right. This is why I earlier stated that should we have the right system in place in Nigeria based on the natural and human capital resources we have, no one needs to depend on top government officials to make it in Nigeria. Just imagine the multiple 'Alakijas' that Nigeria will be proud of. |
A Nigerian living and working in Nigeria has been named as the richest black woman globally. Now, can Sagamite kindly educate us, what is the definition of a nation's wealth? |
I am going to be civil with you this once. Sagamite, give us your definition of a nation's wealth? Using the UK as an example. (Now lets see whether you can complete a simple post without 'cretin' or 'person'). ![]() |
Who am I to trust this Wenger - Walcott hug? Was this not the same manner that dutch skunk hugged Le Professor last season? ![]() My mind is made up - Walcott can leave if he surely wants to. |
