I applied at one because I wanted to see if the application was going to go through without any hitch. Definitely, a social security number was requested and I understand perfectly that every financial services company will verify the authenticity of any social security filed in an application, and it must correspond with the name and date of birth on official records. What I did was just a basic trial and error---more like, "let's just see, you never know" but with no hope of having a card.

Unfortunately, I do not know much about UPS and their operation in Nigeria, so to conclusively state that he was into scamming activities would undermine my reasoning abilities. But fraud and lies? OH YES!

It is not magic science to know the difference between black and white. An example to such was when he faked his accident and pasted his pictures on facebook. . . . do you remember your comments therein? Where you oblivious to the fact that those pictures were cooked-up? I remember how you attacked the MODs here when his IP address was revealed to be coming from Nigeria.

All these should be forgotten by you and MOVE ON. Would that dude still look for someone else to play his deception and lies on? YES! Count your blessings that you did not fall full MUGUN to his antics and lies.

That said, even if the Nigerian media improves, the BBC would still have some clout, only that we have some to tell it the way we see it. You get it, cement brain?

A microcosm of Lagos State was shown in the international media and yet the title has made you to jump on whomever goes against your point with puerile invectives. And you call that a true representation of your '' hallmark of intelligence''? LOL. I laugh in volcanic eruptions.

If the title does not give a vivid representation of the state of affairs and living amongst the community of human beings living in Lagos or Nigeria at large, do we not enough global media clout to counter the image made of us? This is a subjective matter of complex in us Nigerians. Whether it be - Superiority complex or Inferiority complex. Everyone has the complex attitude coming into play at such sensitive issues as this.

And furthermore, one of the basic characteristics of humans is COMPETITION. Nigerians in diaspora will always want to prove that they are far better than Nigerians in Nigeria; even if, they have only spent just one day outside Nigeria.

As for me, stay wherever you feel comfortable with. But my choice of habitation and working should never be a reference point for another to feel and state, I am below his/her standard(s).
